This stay is absolutely perfect. A perfect, beautiful home that’s a literal skip away from the Mt Fuji Welcome Area. The home was perfect and as described and our host was amazing at what he does. He came and picked us up from Fujikawa station and then drove us back when it was time to leave. Please let him come get you if he offers, you’ll need it! He then provided us a tour of the home, perfectly explained all amenities and how to properly use them. Please respect the home, it is very old and he worked very hard on it. We will be booking this home every time we visit Mt. Fuji in the future!

Place was small and cozy but able to accommodate large group. About 15 minute walk to train station. Location is nice for Hakone.

It was on the mountain, so I was prepared for insects to come out seasonally, but the inside was very clean anyway, it was clean, and the insects were about one spider. There were no missing amenities or facilities, and the place was well cleaned, and we had a pleasant time.We also saw Mt. Fuji from the terrace, and it was a lovely stay.I would like to stay there again.

this was a perfect tradional Japanese style bed and breakfast. Amazing!

I live nearby.My son and his wife came with a baby. On the day of fireworks, accommodation costs for nearby ryokans are soaring, but this time, it was a weekday price even on holidays, and it felt like a great deal. Originally, when I booked by mistake for a month, they responded by rescheduling, and they were willing to handle forgotten items, and communication was very smooth.Thank you very much.

It was a very pleasant trip! I made a last-minute request, but they handled it politely, and when I mentioned that I wanted to see the sunrise from the rooftop, they even told me what time it was.The hot springs were very pleasant, and the accommodation was comfortable, so we all said it was good that we stayed here. The owner was fantastic and very responsive, even took us to the local grocery store. The house is on the side of the hill in an incredibly quiet and serene location with complete privacy. The outdoor hot bath was incredible, too, and a great way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Overall it was a great place to stay and would recommend it for anyone staying in Atami.

The location is close to the main road, there are many restaurants around, there is also a supermarket. This house have 2 floors is quite comfortable for 13 of us, 6 adults and also 7 children. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. There are 4 rooms here, we only use 3 rooms is enough, there is still 1 room with a tent to play. And 1 toilet near stairs. On the 1st floor there is a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, toilet, and a large playroom. Outside the house there is a large yard, suitable for children to play Unfortunately we arrived here at night and only slept overnight, the next morning we had to continue our journey so we couldn't enjoy the facilities

My family and I stayed here for three days and two nights, and we definitely had amazing experiences here. We reached quite late around 7pm but Kyoko-san patiently waited for us, greeted us and gave nice tour around the house. Even the home owner and the other co-hosts were very attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. For the next two mornings, we were blessed; greeted by the lovely Mount Fuji and the view from the house was spectacular ❤️ We came here during the Eid month, so we even had family Eid photos here! Such memorable experiences, and we would definitely recommend this place to others :)

It was a perfect place to stay. This time, we stayed with a family of three, but the night view was beautiful because the weather was good, and there were no buildings around, so we had a very quiet time. It was the best time with an unobstructed view in the morning. Next time, I want to come with a large group, including friends and other families, and have a barbecue.

We very much enjoyed our stay here ! The house is very large with 4 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, bath tubs both indoors and outdoors and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is located in a peaceful forest area away from the crowds. If you have a dog, there are also plenty of facilities for your pet. Very easy to get from the house to Lake Kawaguchi and Chureito Pegoda, the 7 seas of Oshino, many temples, gardens, museums and also the F1 racetrack. If you have a car, this home is a perfect base to get everywhere. We really felt at home and enjoyed that everyone had their own bedroom with comfortable beds.

We had a wonderful stay at Mitsuko’s house, and the view on the sea was amazing! The house is comfortable to stay for longer periods, with more than enough cooking utensils, cutlery and plates and cups for cooking. Definitely visit the local hotspring, and Manyo park in Yugawara for a relaxed day out. There are also some local busses for commuting to the nearest supermarkets.

This house is our ideal type, surrounded by mountains, children especially love, running in the forest and exploring nature.Hiro husband and wife are very nice, also deliberately picked up and dropped off at the station.The main home is very clean and tidy.The bathroom is also prepared, makeup oil remover, water, milk.Especially loved them and their couple.

Isao's place was very welcoming and the sea view was amazing. We stayed on the mattress instead of the futon. Mattress was fantastic and there were also enough blankets even when it was in the middle of winter.

Great location and friendly host

Me and my daughter loved staying here. It had a traditional Japanese style room which we loved. It was a little cold, but we were given plenty of heaters and that helped. Located in a very quiet and cosy spot. We hired a car and drove from Tokyo, which I highly recommend if you visit. There is so much to see in the area if you have a car.

A family of three came to the seaside town on the Izu Peninsula. The Japanese-style house allowed us to experience real Japanese life. The space in the house is very large. It is exactly like the houses in Japanese dramas or comics. The bathroom is directly connected to the high-temperature hot spring, making it very convenient to soak in the hot spring. Some of the kitchen pots and pans don't match, but there are many nice coffee cups, water cups, wine cups, and very complete tableware, with all sizes.The tatami mat is thick enough, it doesn't feel hard at all when lying on it, the surrounding area is very quiet, and the quality of sleep is very good.The nearest supermarket is about 15 minutes by bike, but the price is very reasonable and the quality is great.The sea water in Wenqi is clear, you can see the fish, I love the life here, it would be perfect if there was a car.

Situated within the woods, very quiet and peaceful area. Not touristy and easily accessed by car (although walkable to the lake by foot, it s pretty steep hilly road so may not be suitable to walk for elderly). Very cosy and clean place. highly recommend!

Jun was very prompt and accommodating. Thankfully he allowed us to store luggage before check in cos there were zero lockers available at Odawara station and so many tourists were scrambling. The flat was much bigger than our Airbnb in Tokyo and we had lots of floor space to open our luggages. I appreciated sweet touches like the lighted bulbs at the stairs to the entrance at night and magic pens for our kid to entertain herself. Note that this flat is on level 2 on a narrow metal stairway.
