Vacation rentals in Lake Waukomis

The guest home was very clean and cozy. The decor is extremely unique and charming. Gary was a very nice host and he provided good options for dining in the area. There is no tv, which would be good to state in the description.

A lot of little touches that makes it convenient. The hosts have thought things out carefully. Plenty of beds which is what we needed and we played a lot of ping pong. Spotless and very nice linens. Right on 151st so a lot of things very conveniently located

Flexible and great communication

Kathy’s Kottage was great! It’s very cozy and inviting. I felt right at home. Kathy greeted me when I arrived and was very friendly and helpful. The Kottage is so comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again.

Our family had an amazing time at this property! Beautiful and comfortable. Pool table, dart board, theater, and hot tub were definitely a hit with our family! Great Stay!!!

My family really enjoyed this place! The kids especially did with the down stairs area . It was set up nicely for them. The backyard area was awesome it was just too cold for us to enjoy. Thank you allowing us to used your space for our yearly family meet up. We knew was in the right place when ready the sign in the kitchen. It was a saying our mother said and had us sing every morning before school growing up. Thank you once again.

Fantastic little cottage! Very unique, private setting, beautiful area. It had everything we needed, and the Christmas lights and fireplace made it extra cozy. We had a great anniversary stay and hope to be back soon.

Nice quiet place. Easy access to anywhere you want to go. House was very well maintained. We used it as a home base for a 4-day weekend in KC and it was perfect for our needs.

I had been wanting to stay at this home for a couple years now and finally had the chance. First off the artwork is so beautiful throughout the home. Truly enjoyed this and it really contributes to the ambience. I stayed during a very snowy time so didn’t use the pool, but did enjoy the rooftop hot tub. Incredible views of downtown and a nice toasty hot tub with plenty of towels available. what more could one ask for? Curled up on the comfortable sofa and watched a movie on the large screen living room television. The master bedroom was absolutely heaven and so cozy. The entire house was very clean. Didn’t want to leave and hoping to return again in the future! Host was very communicative and friendly. Great location for a short drive to a plethora of excellent restaurants, entertainment, bars, and downtown activities. Especially enjoyed the Bisou café just a few blocks away. Thank you for a great stay!

We originally picked this location but due to the freeze we had to stay at another location. However, the communication received was excellent and the home we ended up staying at was perfect. If the weather had been warmer we would’ve had plenty to explore for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The home was clean, cozy, and felt safe. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we needed for the end of 2024 with a restful- peaceful beginning to 2025. We learned about the owner and property more and found out some of the other places they have and we plan on returning in the coming year. And yes! I will tell all of my friends!
