Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Wateree

Rob & Samantha, thank you for allowing us to stay for 5 days in your beautiful lakeside home! What a peaceful & accomodating retreat! Our two teens fished, went out on the pedal boats & kayaks, took a cold plunge & we made smores by the fire pit. We also took advantage of the sauna after some chilly days! While there, we also saw deer, a fox, 2 possums, and many ducks! We look forward to visiting again if we are back in this area! Would 100% recommend! Well-kept, quiet and peaceful!

What a wonderful and peaceful spot on the lake with your own private beach. Very relaxing with all the amenities provided. It was the perfect spot for my wife and me.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay while in town visiting family Thanksgiving weekend. The house is comfy and cozy and the view of the lake is absolutely stellar! Unfortunately it was very chilly outside while we were there, but we enjoyed the view from the comfort of the warm living room and I cooked some delicious food, while taking in the beauty of the lake, from all of the windows in the very well equipped kitchen. We only had one brief hiccup when first arriving and trying to get into the house, but Miller answered my phone call on the first try and was super nice and helped us figure it out very quickly! We loved how quiet and peaceful the area is and enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife! The only thing that could have possibly made our stay better was having access to a washer and dryer, but otherwise it was perfect and we can't wait to come back and stay again! Highly recommend a stay in this beautiful home! 😊

Absolutely wonderful weekend getaway location! House is perfectly situated on a quiet street, had everything we needed and views of the lake from the house, on the porch, from the fire pit chairs and from the dock were so peaceful and just what we were looking for over a weekend away.

This is a beautiful property and home, perfect for our girl's weekend! We appreciated the layout, the outdoor space and the stocked kitchen. Keep in mind the steps needed to get to the front entrance. This was tricky for our more senior members. We did not utilize the extra shed space but it is right behind the home if a group was interested for an extra nightly plus cleaning fee. I appreciated all the communication from the owner and we have considered returning.

We enjoy our stay. The property’s location is implacable and well maintained. The hosts have definitely put in lots of thoughts in caring for it. Beautiful surroundings that’ll make you want to linger. Great pool and lounge area, charming cottage and an easy 15min commute to the local grocery store.

This was a great place for us and our pups. I fished almost everyday from the covered dock. The sunrises and sunsets splached beautiful colors across the skies. The home was perfect with comfortable beds, kitchen fully stocked and extra towels were provided. I look forward to coming back here next year! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

We will always come stay at Ruth‘s place on the lake. It is absolutely the best beach on a lake for those who want to relax and bring their dogs and lay out in the sun and play in the water and in the sand; this is our second summer trip and we hope to be back in the fall or spring and of course, would love to stay for another long weekend next summer. This is not a loud and busy place, which is why we love to come here when we’re just looking to get away and disconnect. Although The Retreat up the road has amazing food and the state park around the corner had excellent bbq and walking trails that we discovered this time around. Thank you Ruth for always providing a calm experience on the lake.
