Coming for a visit with family. Place was the perfect space for us and location was close to where we needed to be. Clean. Easy check in and check out. Beds were super comfy.

I loved Debbie’s castle! I can’t wait to come back again. We stayed in the lower level and throughout our trip, we kept commenting on how well curated her decor and furniture was. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed with lots of coffee and tea selections. the house smelled great. The beds were comfortable and there was an abundance of blankets and pillows to pick from. I loved her front deck — it was the perfect spot for mornjng coffee.

Cute home, very clean and cozy. We would definitely stay again if we are in thr area.

What a fun place! After the sauna, the kids jumped in the lake - just like how we did it back in Finland! Terrific kitchen with great appliances. And great sound isolation between basement, main level, and upper bedrooms that allowed some of us to stay up and others to go to bed early to get some sleep for the bike race the next day. It really was the perfect place for our trip.

We enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful home in the northwoods. The house was fantastic and the nature around it was just what we were looking for. In our hikes down the mesabi trail down the street, we jumped about 20 grouse and found a pond with a bunch of beaver in it. We hope to come back next year.

We stayed for Thanksgiving and we had all the amenities that we could possibly ask for. This is probably the best air bnb we have ever started in. Everything was perfect. Airbnb could pay Jill to teach other hosts how to do it right. The house is super cute and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

We used the space primarily as for sleeping and place to get cleaned up after/before each day. We have family in town without room to house everyone. So our needs may not be the same thing others are seeking. The kitchen itself is adequate and the large fridge freezer would meet most families needs for storage. There was a lower level window AC that cooled that level nicely. The upstairs was a little more stuffy, but with windows open and a box fan running, it cooled down nicely for sleeping. The bedrooms were good sized and having 2 bathrooms with a tub/shower and a shower met our needs for a place to sleep, clean up. The location just a block off the main road provides easy walking access to shops and restaurants. That would be very attractive to many people. For people wanting the full stay experience with meals and leisure time the place would meet their needs. Would definitely recommend this place for the location and pricing. Suzanne was a good and gracious host!

We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful house. It is so peaceful and quiet, the house is excellently built and furnished, and we felt right at home. would definitely stay again!

Derik was a great host. The pre-arrival online guidebook was very helpful in helping us plan our visit. We stayed for an event at Curl Mesabi in Eveleth. Trust me curlers, watching the other streams on the giant screen in the living room was fun (think LIFE SIZED curling stream!). The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and extras. Although the house seemed smaller on the outside, there is a ton of space inside and would have accommodated way more people than our group. We loved that there are several areas for lounging that allow people to spread out. We hope to stay again in the future!
