Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Tarawera

Lovely space and would recommend as it’s awesome and close to the city but has many eateries close by too and also for our own experience, great travel location to bodybuilding venues and tanning venues!

We recently stayed at this charming 3 bedroom house for our first trip to Rotorua, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The house itself is cozy and spacious, with three bedrooms that comfortable accommodated our family of 6. The beds were super comfy, and everyone had plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was definitely the lovely garden. It was a perfect spot for the kids to play while we enjoyed some time on the patio. The location of the house was in a quiet neighborhood and still a manageable distance from nearby lakes, parks and hot springs without spending too much time in the car. The host was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hollie provided clear instructions for check-in and were quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall our experience at this Airbnb was fantastic and highly recommend this lovely home. Thanks Hollie.

Out of all the 5 star reviews I’ve given, this one is at the top of the list. Mark was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The fresh bread and coffee beans were such a perfect touch on an already great stay. We spent a good amount of time in the amazing forest right across the street - between the Redwoods Walk, running and mountain biking we had a blast. All in all, we would highly recommend this BnB to anyone looking for a truly serene getaway.

We have stayed at The Pink House many times this year and have always found it to be exactly as described, spotlessly clean and had all that we needed. The beds are comfy, linen lovely and the house is well appointed. It is a quiet neighbourhood, Alby & Patricia live next door and are on hand if you need anything or have a query. This was our last time to stay as we now have a house in Tokoroa that we will be using and we are sorry to say bye to these guys and Pink House. This last time there was even a beautiful Xmas tree which was lovely. I highly recommend Alby & Pink House to all.

Great stay. Peaceful and as described

We had a great stay at Liam’s place! The location is a little bit outside of Rotorua, about a 15-20 minute drive but it puts you right by the lake and is definitely a quieter area. The house itself is great, well designed and has a luxury feel. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but it’s a nice amenity if you have time. Plus there is access to a private beach which would be great during the summer months when the weather is better. Would recommend if you’re looking for a nice/quiet spot close to Rotorua.

Des’ place is awesome! The whole place feels like you’re staying in a museum of sports, every corner of the house tells a story. It is so personal and cozy, it makes you feel at home. Perfect location with second to none surroundings. Just a few minutes drive from Rotorua, perfect if you want to get away from the noise and hurry of the day to day life.

Awesome stay at this beautiful lodge, Nadine was a great communicater and left us to enjoy our stay, great place for large groups to enjoy, with everything we needed on hand Only negetive comments would be that the lake is not very inviting and the lodge is very close to other dwellings, whick wouldnt be a problem for most, but because we are a loud family it mattered.

Amazing home and location. We arrived to complimentary chocolates, lollies for the children, breakfast cereal and everything we would need for your choice of a cuppa. Janelle left a welcome note and to help ourselves to anything in the pantry. This home and kitchen was so well stocked with everything you would need and more. We were close to all the supermarkets and major stores. The children and adults loved the stream in our hot summer weather.. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac Idyllic.

Amy was really responsive and friendly. Bookings were quick and easy and communication was good. Amazing household as well as a host. Thank you again Amy!

Very unique place. Spacious place to stay for couple or a family of 3 (1 king bed + single bed) near Rotorua. Very surprise to have Pierre professional cooked breakfast that I never experience before. Thanks for Pierre& Susan kind hospitality.

Beautiful and peaceful location. House was really nice and the view was amazing. Our infants loved the garden and spent most of their time at home playing there. Would have been more than five stars if there were sheep in the paddock behind the house but that’s not in the host’s control (there were sheep in the adjacent paddocks which the kids loved to point out. Would stay here again.
