Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Sonoma

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

Madison’s place was beautiful! My family and I loved it! We would definitely book this place again! Madison was quick to respond and gave us great recommendations to visit before our check in time!

Had such a great time with this property lots to do during the day on the lake or near by activities! followed by peaceful quiet nights in the hot tub! Definitely recommend staying here if you wanna have a relaxing peaceful vacation.

This is a very nice, and well organized house right on the lake with it's own private dock. Loved the carport and quiet setting. Easy access to town and the surrounding area. A perfect place for a country get-a-way.

Beautiful, peaceful and lovely stay. This was a fantastic place and one of the best Airbnb stays in my experience. Paulette is a friendly host and has included so many extras in her rental. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need and she has stocked the bathrooms with many extras. The location is beautiful with decks and windows that view the lake. The completely fenced back yard with the private beach really was beautiful and relaxing. We could let our dogs run free and they loved it. There are California buckeye trees there so I picked up the fruit that had dropped so my dog wouldn't chew them. There is a nice pergola on the beach so we could sit in the shade while the dogs played. Do try the Crestview walk listed in the binder. We drove to the dirt road, parked and had a really nice dog walk. We also walked the Redbud trail off of Hwy 20 which was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Rod's place was perfect for our weekend-getaway. Lots of grocery and convenient stores nearby, cute decor, and great amenities - TV, recliner couch, dishwasher, lots of pans and pots, plates, glasses, nice heater, etc. Just make sure to put in the address manually because when we clicked "Get directions" directly from the Airbnb app it took us a couple of miles North further than the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It was serene, green and peaceful. It was a cosy log cabin with the feel of yesterday years with its vintage gadgets. We loved it and spend a relaxing weekend there. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a calming peaceful time on the banks of the Russian river. Jennifer is a great host.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Shane and Craig’s home is truly a phenomenal oasis in the middle of the redwoods. The multi-level property offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest while also offering every amenity (highly functional and well-designed kitchen, homey living space, two separate sleeping areas, hot tub and lounge chairs with views of the surrounding forest) one would need for a restful vacation. The town of Guerneville is only 5 minutes away with access to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, wine tasting rooms, and the Russian River. Highly recommend as a couples’ getaway or family/friends’ trip.

We had an amazing three night stay at Bob's home in Guerneville in early April. The setting is serene. It is up a small road that takes you onto a wooded ridge, so you feel perched in the trees when you look out the windows or sit on the back deck. There are a lot of uniquely configured windows that frame your view of the surroundings. The furnishings and decor are also beautifully curated to give the home a warm and lively feeling. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was perfectly adequate, and smart TV setup worked well for us. We were not there long enough to make good use of the kitchen and BBQ, but hope to next time. The appliances, dishware, and everything else seemed to be in great shape. Long story short - we highly recommend Bob's home and would love to go back.

Ryan & James place is a real gem. We had such a special, peaceful stay and enjoyed all the amenities, views and nearby hiking and beaches. You can hear the sound of the ocean waves from the beautiful deck. It was everything we wanted for our little romantic getaway. Thank you for sharing with us!

Awesome clean and cozy space. Jacuzzi in the woods and the wood burning stove really made it very special.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, clean, dog friendly and comfortable. We had a great time and can’t wait to stay there again!

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

This was an amazing stay for me and my boyfriend! They had everything that we needed for the week and made sure we felt comfortable staying there! Will come back again very soon. Probably one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Highly recommend this private Airbnb if you want to get away and explore nature.

Nice house up in the pines. Great place to go for a walk

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

Had a lovely two days at Timber Cove Hideaway. We love going to Timber Cove Resort in nearby Jenner...and I can say that this is a similar experience (amazing view, cool vibe, great location) but you get ALSO get a whole house, kitchen, deck, hot tub grill, privacy, etc. at a better price. The view is even better than what I expected from the pictures. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked: condiments, coffee, more appliances than I have at home, flour, sugar, (I could have baked a cake there). The fenced in porch was excellent for our dog. It was so cozy to have the wood burning furnace while we watched the sunset (the furnace and vent system seemed really high end). The 12pm checkout time was probably my favorite feature, we felt like we got an extra day. 10/10 for bird watching (lots of woodpeckers) and they have a set of binoculars which we used to look for whales. Loved hearing the croaking frogs at night. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria's cabin. We loved everything about it. Sonoma Raceway was an easy 10-minute drive away, and the view was beautiful. I wish we had more time to spend at this unique cabin, we would definitely stay here again.

We were so glad we stayed at mini pod #3 instead of the lodge for a proper Sea Ranch experience. The place is so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The lodge is just minutes away by car and we used passes to get to the recreational center for a swim/sauna/tennis. Gama was a great recommendation and we truly enjoyed our dinner there.

Cute and cozy cabin by the waters. We visited the Point Reyes, lighthouse and the beaches. Pristine and calm location. The cabin was very clean and both the beds was extremely comfortable. Kitchen also well equipped to cook small meals and enjoy your coffee. Overall very well decorated and maintained cozy home 🏠
