Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Shelbyville

This is a diamond in the rough! Beautiful place to stay! Very clean, beds are very comfortable, full bathroom, one walk in shower and 1/2 bath upstairs. We could even take our little dog! Has a beautiful view of the lake and birds and fun to watch the squirrels play. We will be back!

Definitely would go back again, would 100% recommend to people who want a nice cozy getaway near water.

A couple friends and I stayed here for a weekend girls trip and this stay exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was super clean, the property and surrounding area is beautiful, and there is so much to do around here. The only thing I would change is there are a lot of windows and no blinds or curtains to close so anybody can see in the house when it’s dark out, but honestly the neighbors all kept to themselves and everything else was so perfect so this didn’t bother us much. We have even talked about coming back every year and making it an annual thing!

We had a great stay.

We enjoyed the house, it was the perfect layout for our family with the master bedroom upstairs and the others downstairs. Very nice dock and everything we needed inside. Nice little park and swim beach not far down the road.

Lauren was an amazing host. She’s very personable, and she made sure to add little touches that were special just for our visit.

Everything was nice and the host was quick to respond and friendly.

Renee's place was everything we wanted and more for our vacation! Heated pool, hot tub, beautiful surroundings and peace/quiet. The mood/feel of the house was perfect upon arrival, the rooms lit and the music was a very nice touch! The house was very clean and we hope to be back again!! 10/10 would recommend!

+ Access to the lake was beautiful. Nice dock, inflatable kayaks, great area. Really enjoyed Lake Sara. - Landscaping / outdoor spaces not super well cared. Beer cans and boxes from the last stay by the dock & in the fire pit. + Fun games! Comfortable beds! - Table for 4 only indoors. We used the 3 seasons room a ton but wouldn’t be functional in cold weather or super hot. Furniture in that space was not comfortable at all. + Allowed early check in, quick to respond. - Communication sometimes feels a bit clumsy as multiple people are responding from their group.

I would definitely recommend this home! It's absolutely beautiful with a stunning view! We stayed here for work and was amazed at how clean the place was. It was also decorated nicely and was spacious. Sean was wonderful to deal with and provided clear check in/out instructions and also checked in to make sure we were ok and had no issues. Thank you for a great stay and for accommodating us at the last minute! If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!
