Apartment vacation rentals in Lake Placid

We had a great time during our stay here. The place itself was very nice and clean. It is less than 5 minutes from Main Street and any convenience store you may need. It could use a few additional items like extra blankets, more kitchen items, etc. As seen in other comments, if there is someone staying above you, you can definitely hear a lot of noises. Overall, our experience here was great and would recommend to anyone visiting Lake Placid!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Wilmington! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the property was. Everything was spotless, from the cozy living room to the bathroom. The real highlight for me, though, was the hot tub – it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. Both William and Jessica were super accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Wilmington.

Spacious and pretty clean. Snow tubes and kayaks for use is nice. There's already a hill right out the back door to go tubing down. An easy 5 minute drive into town.

This apartment is in a great location. The hosts were responsive. Everything was clean and comfortable, and there was candy! We would definitely stay again.

This was a great spacious space. Right on the lake. Everything was lovely would definitely stay again. The only issue was there’s a pizza parlor above and there is some noise from there, but it wasn’t really much of a distraction.

We had an amazing time in Lake Placid over New Year’s Eve! The condo was a spectacular location - walkable to downtown Lake Placid and an easy drive to Whiteface Mountain for skiing. The accommodations were spacious, and the view of Mirror Lake was fantastic! We would not hesitate to rent this property again. Thank you for sharing your home with us for the holidays!

Jo was an incredibly thoughtful and welcoming host. Check-in was seamless, and we were greeted with a basket of goodies and a handwritten note, which made us feel so at home. The house was cozy, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed—including a fully equipped kitchen and extra towels and slippers for the hot tub, which we loved using. The kids enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs, and the big windows provided stunning views. The location was great, just 20 minutes from town. Overall, it was a relaxing and much-needed getaway—thank you, Jo!

Cozy apartment for my family of four. Enjoyed being able to walk into town. Beds comfortable. Amenities are thoughtful- like a nightside and outlet by each bedside and a place for luggage.

5 stars! Almer’s was at a great location with easy access, immaculate upon entry, excellent shower pressure, beds were soft & cozy and we appreciated the coffee station & stocked fridge full of water. Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised by Andrew's 2 bedroom attic. It was rather sparsely decorated but very clean and pleasant with a lovely autumn view over the pond. I hope it will be free next time we visit with my wife.

Our stay was wonderful and the hosts were very friendly and proactive with providing instructions for our stay, while also giving us suggestions for things to do around the area. One thing to note is the photo of the living room with the tv is outdated, and the hosts have a flatscreen smart tv now. Next time we are skiing around whiteface, we will most likely choose this location. The location is a short drive to the resort (under 20 mins) , but we found ourselves enjoying Lake Placid after skiing, but is a slightly longer drive (~30 mins) from the home, but worth it.

Shelly gave us a very warm welcome with mouth watering brownies and candies. She is very quick in every responsive which I appreciate a lot. She also gave great recommendations to visit places nearby and the activities happening around. All here suggestions were worth it. Loved the experience of staying at her place, felt just like home.

Josh’s place was spacious, clean and easy to find. He was very communicative the whole time we were there. It is at a very good walkable location with private parking.

Second year staying with Michael and he’s a great host. The place is in a super convenient location and a nice private building.

This is a really wonderful ground floor apartment. There are stairs down to the apt. so know this ahead of time. Plenty of space, nice kitchen area with everything you need. There is even an out side entrance with a computer workspace. Seating area has two chairs a couch and mini dining table. Bedroom has nice bed and two large dressers for clothes. She has fans for added airflow if needed, extra blankets and the bathroom has all the soaps and hair shampoo etc. Each room has its own thermostat so you can regulate as needed. You are within walking distance of Lake Placid village (.7 miles) and there is a space for off street parking. Deborah is quick to respond to any questions. Check in was a snap as was check out. Definitely would come again.

Perfect Lake Placid location. Downtown is in walking distance. Comfortable place to stay.

Great location. The space was well stocked and had everything we needed and more. We did get some snow during our stay and they were very good about keeping the outside stairs free of snow and salted. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Jeanne’s place for a hiking weekend in the Adirondacks. The location was good for both of our days of outings. The place is cozy, with nice decor and good attention to details, especially in the small but well-equipped kitchen. Jeanne was great at communicating and providing directions and check-in information. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Loj. Checkin was flexible and very easy, the hosts were very friendly and available over message, and the space was perfect. There were 4 of us and there was plenty of space for 2 adults on the sofa.

Betsy is a super host! Let us know about the local area, places to eat and visit, where we can go stargazing which honestly is a must if you come to stay here! She is flexible and accommodating, just communicate with her and she will respond. The airbnb was clean, private, and very cozy! The local area is great with beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back to get some more hikes under our belts.
