Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lake of Varese

Monica is an amazing host, she’s very communicative and helpful, everyday she made sure we were comfortable and well. The place has an amazing view and it’s located near the city of Stresa when you can buy anything, eat and take a ferry on Lago Maggiore, I’d advise to rent a car because the roads are not built for walking The house is well equipped, we prepared food in the kitchen on daily basis and it didn’t lack anything The evenings where a bit cold and the heating season has not started yet, but Luciano prepared the fireplace every day and made sure we had enough wood :)

We had a short stay on the way to the airport. Silvia was extremely accommodating and has a beautiful home

Enrica's place is the best I've stayed for this trip. The kitchen was fully equipt, as was the bathroom. Both of these were in pristine condition; very clean and organised. I particularly loved the little touches i.e, paintings by Enrica and cute items, which were strategically place in the apartment. Enrica communicated clearly a day before check-in to ensure that I knew how to get into the house. Enrica and family are very hospitable people and made sure I felt at home. I recommend Enrica's place to everyone, without doubt.

This little place is just off the main area of stresa, which means it is in a quaint little suburb. The house feels just like home with Simona and Enrico leaving some goodies as required. The only thing is that it seemed that there was a little bit of a party at one of the locals houses, which kept my partner up and the church has a bell tower so no need to set an alarm! Otherwise was exactly what we needed!

Super sweet host. Location in the basement a bit freaky getting there, but she did a really good job making it feel super cozy inside

The house is beautifully decorated. Every Midcentury modern fan will jump air:) The record player is the cherry on top! It has everything you need, the kitchen is fully equipped and enough is available (including fresh fruits and all organic) The hot tub and spa area are awesome! We were able to spend a great girls weekend:)

Nice. It is a large apartment on 2 floors. Great for a family or 2 couples.

The place was very clean and had a cozy vibe. The metro was also near so it was pretty easy to get to the main attractions in Milan. Niccolò is very accommodating and answered our messages quickly. Overall, had a great stay here!

The apartment is as in the photos. A lot of love for detail and therefore you quickly felt comfortable and at home. It has everything you need, the kitchen is super-equipped. The location is optimal, you can reach the bus stop as well as the train station and the lake within walking distance. Davide is very friendly and always responds quickly. We will be happy to come back.

The location is great—most sightseeing spots are within walking distance. Niccolò was always very helpful and responded promptly. When we encountered a small issue upon check-in, Niccolò immediately took ownership and resolved it quickly. I definitely recommend this apartment to anyone considering a stay in Milan.

We had an excellent stay. The apartment is in a beautiful and peaceful location and easily walkable to the city centre. The nearby metro station was super useful and quick to travel to the airport. The apartment was comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend and book again on our next visit to Milan.

everything was excellent at the apartment and a great stay very walkable friendly clean apartment The only thing I can say different is that parking is not on site It is on the street only but an excellent stay all in all I recommend it for sure

I traveled for a conference at MiCO, so Cinzia's place is very convenient. Her place is also convenient to go to the city center given the easy-to-use Milan transportation network. Cinzia greeted me both at check-in and saw me off at check-out; she is very friendly and fun to talk with. If I am going back to Milan, I will definitely check out if Cinzia's place is available. One advice: if you wish to use the laundry machine, you should tell Cinzia well beforehand.

Everything perfect. Comfortable bed, as well as the private room. Important to know that there is not much around, so it is advisable to bring food previously, as indicated in the listing is only for an overnight stay and the other day to go to the airport. Very friendly hosts , recommended 💯

We had an incredibly wonderful stay. Sonia was so friendly and helpful - lovely place. Close to great lakeside restaurant (Terrazzo Olmo) - fun walk by the lake to town. Delicious breakfast provided. And on the last night she had 2 chefs in for a 4 course restaurant quality dinner in her kitchen - our top event from our 1 week stay in Italy. Couldn't recommend this place more. Really terrific.

Very spacious and equipped apartment in a beautiful location. Large garden, convenient parking. Very clean modern and cozy. Elena is the very kind and very helpful landlady. The very sweet and very polite dog is also very sweet. Highly recommended

Our stay with Daniele and his wife was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and care that we instantly felt at home—better than home, actually! The apartment was spacious, clean, and beautifully arranged, with a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and all the amenities we could need. Guests also have complete privacy, staying on their own floor, which made the experience even more special. The location is ideal, close to major cities but still peaceful and relaxing. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality of Daniele and his wife, who went above and beyond to make us feel like family. They helped us with everything, shared great tips for the area, and even provided a delicious breakfast that made the mornings extra special. This was hands down the best hosting experience we’ve ever had. If you're looking for warmth, comfort, and a true home-away-from-home, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend!

what is Barbara a sweet cozy hostess! We had a very nice time in the b&b. lovely bed and everything you need is available. breakfast is also completely fine. parking is nearby. perfect place to visit other places from there. highly recommended

Maria Emilia and her husband were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful home. Our room was large, clean, peaceful and overlooked their beautiful and expansive property. The private bathroom is right next to the bedroom and accessed through the hallway. The breakfasts were delicious and one morning we were treated to Maria Emilia’s baking. Overall, we had a great stay. While some B&B’s in Italy are more like boutique hotels, Maria Emilia’s B&B is more similar to a North American B&B-style stay.
