Lake house vacation rentals in Lake of the Woods

Great place for anyone that suffers from allergies, we usually just sufer through in rentals , but not here! No allergy issues at all ! The home is very clean and has no clutter at all. Spacious living room for all the grandkids to crawl around and the views of the lake at sunrise and sunset are spectatcular.Highly reccomend!

I had a fantastic stay at Karen’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared, making it feel like a true home away from home. Karen was an excellent host—responsive, accommodating, and attentive to every detail. The location was perfect, and the little touches throughout the home made the experience even more special. I highly recommend Karen’s place and would absolutely stay here again!

Cannot beat the views of this house. Plenty of room for two families and two dogs to stay. Great place overall. One of the nicer Airbnb's I've stayed in.

Kate and Zach's place was an amazing retreat. We went for Thanksgiving and it had everything we needed in the kitchen! There were plenty of pots, pans, bowls and utensils. It was so well equipped it made it easy to cook a few meals at their home. The space was open for the living area but had private spaces for sleeping which was very nice. Of course I have to mention the view. The sunrises over the lake were amazing. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were within driving distance to hiking trails and breweries not to mention about 45-60 minutes from Richmond and Charlottesville. Highly recommend staying here with the family!

This lake house was phenomenal! It included everything we needed, and it felt like home. We will definitely be renting this house again for our next girls trip!

I really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect size for my women's prayer retreat. I was concerned about the beds in the bunk room being too small for adults but they worked out great. We enjoyed the amenities and the view. Ash was very responsive and courteous. All in all it was an amazing experience. Great for group vacations! I was a little annoyed by some of the cleaning that was left undone before our check in but it was quickly corrected and did not hinder us from enjoying our stay. I would definitely book this home again. It was absolutely beautiful.

Great place for a fall get away girls weekend! Beautiful location with views of the lake from every room! We enjoyed the screened in porch in the morning and the fire pit in the evening. Ashley was quick to respond to me and offered suggestions when I inquired. House is well equipped, they've thought of everything!

What a fantastic place to stay! From the first contact to check out Chad was a wonderful host. The house was clean, modern and spacious with all the amenities. The location couldn’t be better, private wooded property right on the lake but still close to everything we needed. I would definitely recommend and better yet, I’d go again.

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

Joie and Mike have thought of everything a family could need while vacationing at Lake Anna. We had a great time there! It’s rare to find an AirBNB with 2 king bedrooms and this helped us easily accommodate our large family. We were even able to include our dogs who also really enjoyed their vacation! Highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful time at Dog Days House! Communication was great, check in was easy, and everything was as described. Our dogs loved the big back yard. Perfect for a quiet weekend away. We can’t wait to do it again!

Tracy was very welcoming, informative and accommodating. She was very available if we had any concerns. We were planning a boat trip on the lake and she helped coordinate a boat rental that led to a lovely day on the water. Her mom is cozy and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.

The stay was memorable and host is very responsive. There are very few improvement needed, which would enhance the experience, suggested the host about the same.

The house was great for a nice week away. It was close to the lake with a community access point, and there is so much history in the area. Lake Anna State Park has a wonderful trail system and is kid and dog friendly. Theo Owner’s guide had great restaurant recommendations. The house had everything we needed for a family Thanksgiving away. The pictures on the site don’t do the bedrooms justice. The three bedrooms are large, have ample storage and relaxation space, plus all have their own attached full bathrooms. The half bath is conveniently located off the open floor plan great room. We spent time on both the front and back porch, and would have used the fire pit but the weather didn’t cooperate. I’d definitely recommend Sharon and this home for your next Lake Anna get away.

I had a great stay, very peaceful, great views of the lake, the dock and outdoor areas were great. The house is very spacious and has every amenity you would need.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

An amazing home to come to and visit when you really want to reconnect with friends or family and just take in nature, play games and just release your inner kid. Beautiful outside area, the fire pit was a hit every night. We enjoyed waking up in the morning to see Deer roaming through the woods in the back, plenty of spacious rooms and fun to be had outside and downstairs. Loved grilling out on the spacious deck and enjoyed getting to meet one of the neighbors, Dale, who was super friendly during our stay .would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful fun getaway in VA

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and updated. The view of the lake from the house was beautiful and we enjoyed quiet mornings, having coffee on the dock.

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

A fantastic stay! Super clean and well cared for house, comfortable beds, and wonderful outdoor spaces and waterfront. A great lake getaway spot for small families. Note that most bedrooms (except 1) are up a creaky spiral staircase - easy for us but could be a challenge for some folks.

The cabin was the unique getaway we were looking for. Very spacious for 6 people and 2 dogs. Kitchen amenities were a great addition to the Thanksgiving meal prep. Oliver was proactive in reaching out which we very much appreciated!

Knot on Call lakehouse was amazing! It was clean, spacious, had everything we needed to cook, eat, shower, sleep, & play! I loved how everything had a user guide/info or was labeled if you needed it. I noticed & appreciated all the details. The large gift basket of snacks was a nice touch. Everything was very thoroughly thought out in this home. House felt private, secluded, and peaceful. We enjoyed nights at the firepit, exploration walks & evenings in the game room for movies & family game nights. Game room was another well thought out idea and a very nice addition. When inside, it was where we spent all of our time. Teens & smaller kids were entertained and that is hard to do! Jon and Carrie were accommodating, responsive, & so kind to us during our stay. Wonderful hosts! Core memories were created here for all the kiddos. We miss it already & we can't wait to come back! As the kids would say...
