Peaceful, cozy lakeside home made for a great weekend retreat. Friendly, well-trained black lab dog greets you on arrival. Rena was a warm, generous, and welcoming host. Made me feel right at home. Gave great local recommendations. Easy to follow instructions for checking in and flexible check out. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

We had a wonderful stay in Washington! The space was perfect for our large group (two families with young kids plus the grandparents). The setting is idyllic (beautiful view from the back porch) and the sauna was the perfect way to relax after long days playing in the snow and hitting the ski slopes (just under an hour away). Would love to come back and stay here again sometime!!

I walked into a very clean updated 2-bdrm suite. It was modern but “homey” feeling. It was about a 17 min drive on average to the Cal Expo where I was attending a show for 5 days. I could have stayed closer, but none of the other options was a nice looking (judging by photos) as Cameron’s place. I was gone all day and mostly only there to sleep, but it looked like a great place to spend more time. My business partner never ended up being able to make the trip with me, but it would’ve been nice to make use of having bathrooms attached to each of the two bedrooms. I believe I read that some people commented on hearing a train going by in the evenings, but I personally don’t feel like it was loud enough to disturb me. I only heard it when I was awake. I would certainly stay there again.

Dawn is an incredible host and her home is lovely! The house is nestled in trees with a big deck overlooking a pretty view of the valley. The kitchen was fully stocked and hot tub soak watching the view was the perfect end to my California vacation. I intend on booking this home again. Thank you Dawn!

The home was beautiful, clean and inviting, with comfortable beds and a cozy atmosphere. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. In fact, we said we will keep it on our list to return to should we be in the area again.

We only stayed the night but it was a very cool and eclectic place. Wish we had more time to explore the area but everyone had a great time. Byron is also a very cool and laidback and really gave the place a good atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

Everything was incredible. Upon arrival we were greeted with cheese and wine on the table and a warm fire in the fireplace. The home is super comfortable for a couple and everything about the decor is super cozy. I was able to walk to Scott’s flat Lake from the house, it took about 20 minutes, but walking through the redwoods was absolutely beautiful. They had some great amenities in the house, including Chia seeds, walnuts, delicious teas, and Nespresso coffee. The beautiful A-frame on the property and the design of the entire home, was the perfect vibe for a weekend cabin trip. We also love driving into Nevada city and Dining at the restaurants. It was a perfect balance of being in nature, but just close enough to access everything that the destination had to offer. Ben and Raquel were super responsive and even offered us a late check out. Can’t wait to come back.

Once again the stay was worth every penny this is my second year in a row coming to stay at this beautiful spacious cozy home full of all sorts of amenities it did not disappoint I truly enjoyed my stay.

Great place to stay! Home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the location, quiet neighborhood and walkable to Historic Folsom, restaurants, and running/biking trails. We did have a package go missing from the front porch, but Meghan was accommodating with other options and we had no other issues during our couple months stay. Backyard was great for our pups. Would definitely stay again.

Super clean and comfortable home. The home was spacious and fully equipped with all the appliances plus cookware needed for our family to be able to cook dinner at home instead of going out. The kids enjoyed the game room. Would definitely come back again if ever in the area. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Isabella the host was also very gracious and responsive to all our questions.

The view at the home is amazing, although we didn’t get to use the pool because we were busy it was clean. There was a wonderful fire pit we were able to use at night to enjoy! Messaged because we were needing more items and the items were delivered immediately! We had a great time!

Very beautiful house. One house off the bluff where you have spectacular views of the river. Lots of walking trails nearby. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cozy two bedroom cottage impeccably decorated with modern technology as well. Close enough to walk to coffee but also very quiet. Will return!

The home was really nice. We had missed the sunset our first night but the second night we caught the sunset and it was gorgeous. It was nice to walk to the coffee and Old Sac. The only downside would be the train noise. However, the hosts do offer ear plugs.

Mark’s place was exactly as listed and in a fantastic location. The house had a great layout and the neighborhood was quiet. Lots to do in the area and so close to Sutter Street and all that it has to offer. Highly recommended and would no doubt stay there again if available!

Best ever cast iron wood-burning stove, so easy to use. Hot tub was very clean. Nice dark bedrooms. Lots of appliances in the kitchen. Lots of natural light in the house. Very peaceful secluded. Nine minutes to Nevada City. Gorgeous fall foliage, nice landscaping. Vincent gave us a detailed tour, coached us on how to start a fire, brought in extra wood, very friendly, gave us our privacy.

A real gem! Spacious layout meant our group of three couples (one of which has children) felt we had privacy when we needed it, and lots of settings to share time together, hang out as a group, enjoy the peaceful, green tree-lined setting. A short drive to Nevada City downtown (we were up for Victorian Christmas Celebration), and easy drive to grocery, shops, etc. Home was pristine, fully stocked, and hosts were always in communication when we needed it - which wasn't often, as their instructions provided prior to were thorough, clear, well laid-out, and easy to understand. A top experience, and we will keep in mind for next year!
