Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Murray

This is a great little place to stay. My wife and I in several of our friends stayed here for a couple days. The super restful and the lake was beautiful, especially in the morning when the sun came up :-) Maighen and Shawn we're super friendly and communicative. We would definitely stay there again if we're there :-)

.We hosted our family of 10 Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. Kids loved the kayaks and the dock. We took a pontoon boat ride with Captain Kenny- highly recommend.

We stayed for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding at Heron Hill Venue. The location was great and the scenery beautiful. The lake house is well equipped, comfortable, and decorated but not cluttered. The deck overlooking the lake was the perfect place to sit in the morning and relax with my hot cup of tea before wedding preparations got crazy. Only wish we’d had more time to enjoy it. Kim was very helpful and responsive. I would come back again even without a wedding to attend. High marks for this lake house retreat!

This was a fabulous place to spend time with family. The neighborhood was quiet and the house had an abundance of amenities to keep everyone busy. Thank you for an awesome visit. I hope to come back again.

We enjoyed our week at the lake and found the home well-stocked. We ate most of our meals at home and had everything we needed. The kitchen was nicely appointed, and the appliances were high quality. There is a Publix grocery store 10 minutes away and several local restaurants to enjoy. We used the charcoal grill for several meals and sat outside as much as possible. The whole family enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, and swimming in the lake. A ladder on the dock would make it easier to get out of the lake, but we made due.

Robin’s place was the perfect getaway to check out Lexington and Columbia! Private and peaceful. Beautiful home with everything you could need! Perfect for families with little kids with open floor plan and a room with 4 bunk beds. We had a blast and highly recommend!!

Michelle stepped up, communicated promptly and clearly when another Airbb place we had did not work out due to some maintenance issues. Great communication! This location had a separate building with space for my wife to work from home undisturbed. We were there in the off season from the lake fun, however our daughters loved the fishing rod and access to the water. It gave us a taste of the summer fun that this location definitely delivers. The view and the fire pit next to the lake was a fun treat for us all. Plenty of firewood, and a well appointed home allowed us all to settle in. Only two critical items worth mentioning are the beds frames were a bit unsupportive, and the gnats seemed to be penetrating the home as the weather warmed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This lake house was absolutely perfect! Sparkling clean, super comfortable, and totally pet-friendly—our dog felt right at home. The views of the lake were gorgeous, and the long dock was ideal for fishing or lounging. The screened-in porch right by the water was our favorite spot—so peaceful and relaxing. Everything about this place made it feel like a true getaway. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Tommie was a great host and her place, though on the small side, is very functional. It's in a nice location on the lake, and enjoying coffee on the porch was so nice every morning. We were on a house-hunting trip and Tommie's place was centrally located for our purpose. It's also not that far from Lexington and the Columbia airport. Very enjoyable stay!

great place. was exactly what we were looking for. plenty of space for boat and truck parking and room to sleep 4 comfortably. close to Dreher Island State Park.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful place located right in front of a stunning lake! The views were absolutely breathtaking and made our time there so peaceful and refreshing. Lauren was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. She also provided a great list of nearby places to visit, which was super helpful for exploring the area. The little touches really made a difference – there was coffee, spices, and even games to enjoy, which added to the cozy, home-like feel of the space. Plus, the place is very kid and pet-friendly, which was perfect for our family. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Had a great stay. Tira was extremely responsive and went out of her way to help when we ran into personal issues. The property was quiet and tucked away off the beaten path. Overall great time for Thanksgiving.

great little place super quiet

It was a very peaceful and quiet place… beautiful lake view. We had a small issue with the shower but our host was very responsive and helpful. We would stay again!

We were in Chapin visiting family (my husband, me and our adult son) so we didn't spend much time at the cabin. We did love our two mornings and evenings at the cabin. The setting is peaceful and we loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the views. The music system was a real treat, too. We wished we'd had more time to use the kayaks but, in any case, we view these as a big plus. The cabin has great character and has been renovated beautifully. We felt very fortunate to find this special place. We were not able to meet Tom and Laura but they provided clear instructions and we had everything we needed. The place may have been a bit tight if our adult daughter had joined us but we would have found a way to make it work. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything from the views, kayaks, turtles swimming and all the amenities…absolutely spectacular. Our son is a Gamecock, now. We will definitely be back over the next 4 years when this place is available!

Cute little cabin on Lake Murray. Spent a few days fishing and kayaking. My dogs loved having the freedom to roam the fenced in yard. The new covered addition to the dock was a huge plus. We sat under it with our camping chairs the majority of the day. We seen geese and ducks. Would have fed the ducks if we had the food available. Would definitely come back. All you need are clothes and your toiletries. The quack shack has everything else to enjoy your stay and the outdoors.
