Vacation rentals in Lake Monomonac

Nice home. Comfortable and had everything we needed. We would stay again.

We enjoyed a short ski trip to Berkshire East. M's place was comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. They even had dog bowls and treats for our pup! Snow removal was completed early, allowing us to get out and on the slopes for the day. As M says in the description, you definitely need a vehicle with AWD or 4X4 since you are nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed the bountiful binder with history of the small town and local attractions. I would caution people with young children and older folks about the steep staircase to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. The 1 full bath is on the first floor so if you're like me, you need to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. We didn't mind this since it is part of the charm of a historic building and our family of four including two teens had no problems. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Space was exactly as listed. Very clean and tons of space. We’d absolutely stay here again. Kelly was SUPER kind and responsive!

We can’t say enough good things about this house. It was PERFECTION; it was EXACTLY what we were looking for. We traveled with 10 people (6 adults and 4 kids) and everyone fit in the house comfortably. The kids space to play was so great for the kids. The fireplace room was big enough for all of us to sit by a cozy fire and watch tv after a day of skiing or playing in the snow. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. And we were all able to sit at the dining room table for dinners. The land was absolutely incredible. We could skate on the lake, we had snowball fights, built snowmen, we explored the property to take pictures, and the kids were able to play on the play ground. We truly cannot say one negative thing about this house. We wish we could take this house on each vacation we go on!

It was perfect for what we wanted! We were giving Grandma an 80th Hallmark Experience. A lot of what we did was in Woodstock and it was a noce 30 min ride to the town, but for us very convenient. We had a family of 14 and we played games in ythe main living room all together. The downstairs was perfect for our older kids to hang out in!

melissa was very responsive and even sent help when we needed heater :) nice house for a family gathering, our group had a great time!!

We are annual travelers to the region conducting winter bird surveys around the New Year. We have been lucky to find several nice houses in the area. This was our first stay with Marina and Roman and their accommodations served us very nicely. It was good to relax in the evenings after our research work and light a fire and have a quiet and good night's rest. We hope to return.

I cannot say enough great things about Laura's place! The location is incredible. So quiet, peaceful and beautiful surroundings, but only 20 minutes to Killington base and 15 to the Skyship Gondola. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and we ate most meals at home. (I would recommend Domenic's pizza, yum!) For those that need it, wifi was reliable, but we enjoyed the cozy wood stove while playing Pictionary every night! Beds were super comfy and the home was spotless. We had an epic snow storm (18 inches) and roads and driveway were plowed and we had no problem getting off the mountain. Laura was very responsive and made check in easy. CANNOT WAIT to stay here again! Thanks Laura!
