If you are looking for a getaway The Nest is your destination. My family of four and two Aussie Shepherds needed a peaceful time out and Sonya's home was all that and more. We all had a quiet place to be alone and there were both indoor and outdoor spaces for family games. A walk to the beach each morning was minutes from the door steps and the dogs were up at 6:00 am each morning wanting to get out on the sand for a run through the water. The time Sonya has spent on the house speaks volumes. Her attention to detail from the furniture to the lighting to the towel hangers (my son was able to write our names in chalk) shows how much she loves The Nest. I, too, have fallen in love with The Nest. We have been to many airbnbs and this is by far my favourite. Since moving to Queensland, a Queenslander has been my dream and Sonya's house cinched the deal for my next home. We will be returning. Thank you to Susan, as well...An absolute gem.

Staying at Chloe's place was a fantastic experience! Everything was exactly as described, and it was excellent value for the money spent. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Chloe was a gracious and attentive host, making the entire experience seamless and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay. The apartment is large which was really helpful when staying as a family of 5! Amazing location, walking distance to everything needed. There is no gate (as per the pictures) on the alfresco part and the road is quite busy but that's to be expected when opting for the location. Just to keep in mind for anyone staying with little ones. Overall we had an amazing time would definitely recommend.

Great spot with quick access to the beach. Very safe and secure yard for our children. Pam was an incredible host and so generous to our family. If you’re visiting from outside of Queensland it’s a great opportunity to stay in a traditional and culturally significant style of home called a “Queenslander”.

We had the most amazing time here ! The place exceeded our expectations and we didn’t want to leave . We saw so much wildlife and had the beach to ourselves. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stress free holiday. We will be back. Thank you Honnie.

This home is beautiful, so luxuriously comfortable. There are so many activities at the home that you didn’t need to go anywhere if you so chose. It backed onto Toogoom beach and was walking distance to Goody’s cafe. There were so many bikes and kayaks, our grand kids had a blast. We can thoroughly recommend Mark’s lovely beachside home.

We had a wonderful time here. The house was perfect for 9 of us, plenty of space and spotlessly clean and tidy. I loved that it had everything we needed in terms of towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies and in generous quantities. The house is very close to the beach, allowing lovely walks along the shore and to the nearby shop and cafe. Sadly recent heavy rain meant the water was uninviting and we weren’t able to swim, the only downside (and not the hosts fault) to a fantastic holiday. I highly recommend Susan’s place to large groups looking to relax and unwind in spacious, clean and peaceful surroundings.
