Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Macquarie City Council

My girlfriends and I really enjoyed our stay. It has everything, spacious and clean. The morning walk along the lake was lovely. I would recommend this place for a relaxing weekend stay.

We had a delightful stay at Sonia’s place this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The property is located in an area that is not only scenic but also conveniently situated with great accessibility, which was perfect for our needs. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the cozy beds, the great views, the well-stocked kitchen and the laundry facilities, which were very helpful. The TV was a plus and a favourite of our children. Sonia was an excellent host, very attentive and responsive with quick answers to our inquiries. One of the highlights for us was the house layout, which was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the outdoor space, the design of the home, and the closeness to shops and beaches. We truly appreciated the effort Sonia put into making sure our stay was enjoyable. We loved the coffee and tea area and the stunning views. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Amy’s place was amazing and exactly as described. It was so clean we thought it had just been renovated, not a spot anywhere. Everything was well kept in cupboards, the beds were made really well and rooms really tidy. The living areas were well presented and the bathrooms looked and smelled clean with fresh towels on the beds. The kitchen was also fully equipped with everything you could need. It’s in a great location only 10 minute drive from Newcastle, the beaches and restaurants and the residential area is very quiet at night. Amy is also very responsive and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it. We will definitely return if we are visiting Newcastle again in the future.

Nics place was amazing!! The pool was such a hit with the kids and we didn’t have to entertain them. We also played soccer and badminton on their backyard. So much space! I would definitely return. Nic is communicative as well as giving us the details. Place is close to the shops, 1km walk to the cafe and groceries. Also sandy beach is nice with the kids and you can bbq and it’s only 5min walk. Thanks Nic for having us!!

Superb property and location. Private and spacious. The sensational balcony views and the plunge pool were perfect for our January stay. Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and their dinner recommendation was a hit. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable getaway.

This apartment was clean, comfortable and peaceful. I wish we’d just spent more than one night! There were sufficient amenities, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning a lifesaver. Alison was prompt on her responses, and allowed us to check in slightly earlier which was much appreciated. This was a gorgeous apartment near the beach and within walking distance to cafes. Would recommend, and would stay again!

Lovely apartment for a couple. Kitchen was well kitted out and a great view from the balcony. A spacious bathroom with an excellent shower.

Thank you for having us to stay in your beautiful home. Our first reaction was that the place was absolutely vast - with three living areas and two dining areas, large bedrooms and bathrooms we were spoilt for choice. Not to mention being in such a convenient location, right across the road from the beach and close to coffee shops and bars. Being so amongst it meant you could hear some noise from the bar, but that's expected given the location and it didn't bother us - Especially when we were able to play our own music through the built-in sound system. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely stay again.

My friends and I had a lovely time at Nikki’s home. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out over the resort. Perfect location to visit wineries in the area!

We had a lovely stay in the studio! Location was great, close to everything while also being very peaceful. The studio had everything we needed for a two day stay. Back garden was fenced which was perfect as we brought our puppy with us and he had plenty of room to run around. Most definitely will book again!

My large group had a pleasant stay. Large front/backyard and plenty of beds and seating for dining for our group. Only downfall was there’s no air con in some bedrooms but they do provide some fans. Recommend the house and great location to many attractions like the long jetty & the entrance!

Matt's place is beautifully located to enjoy all that the Hunter Valley has to offer. It was very peaceful, surrounded by hills and vines. Kangaroo were jumping past and there were black cockatoos in the trees. We enjoyed family dinners around the large dining table. The house is well designed with two bedrooms in one part and two in another. We were very comfortable.

Ariel was a great host and the house was amazing. The house was very clean and had all the necessary appliances with a bonus ice machine. The game room was spacious.

Gorgeous spot for a getaway from the city. Close to everything in the Hunter, but well away from everything and everyone. Super easy to find and get there, check-in/out was a breeze. All the information you need is provided. Great amenities especially in the kitchen. Accomodation is a beautiful space indoors and out. Amazing afternoon walks around the property. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The photos are extremely accurate, lovely two bedroom villa. We had a very relaxing time here, plenty of books and a few games to choose from to keep ourselves entertained as well. Aircon and fans in the bedrooms and living rooms. A well appointed villa in a lovely part of the world

"Absolutely picturesque! Our stay in Hunter Valley Pokolbin was simply enchanting. The view overlooking the olive trees, vineyards, and the serene small dam with ducks was like something out of a postcard. The tranquility of the surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway. The accommodation was immaculately clean, and the proximity to numerous cellar doors was a wine lover's dream come true. Plus, being only 15 minutes away from the center of Pokolbin made exploring the area incredibly convenient. I would definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation."
