Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Lyndon B. Johnson

We had an amazing time at the lake house with family of 10! The house is beautifully decorated throughout and very spacious. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, hanging in the hot tub, panoramic lake views, deer watching, roasting marshmallows over the fire, kayaking, fishing off the dock and most of all. The heated bidet! 🥳🙌🎉 11/10 recommend! 💯

We booked a VERY last minute (like the night before) mini family vacation. Thankfully Chris and his wife were able to accommodate us. They were a delight to speak to, very kind and communication was great. The house has a beautiful serene view which made it a wonderful place to sit lake side and relax. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of seating in the living room. The house itself is small but they made great use of the space. We cooked most of our meals on the grill outside and ate on the patio. There is plenty of space for the kids to play on the yard. We fished off the dock, watched the ducks swim by and the occasional turtle pop its head out. We also headed out to the state park and cave nearby, both are worth seeing. Overall a really great stay! We were looking for a space to sit back and relax and this was definitely the right booking for us. Highly recommend! Only downfall, no tv outside. (It’s football season) 😂

We loved Sharon’s place. The pool and hot tub were beautiful on the lake. We went to a few lovely wineries close by! We really enjoyed our stay.

We booked the weekend for my nieces birthday trip, and it was great, we enjoyed the view to the lake and the swing as well, and just in case we needed anything it was there, we had a great weekend

The Lake House had everything we needed. This place was great for my family of 5. We explored the outdoors, which was fun for the littles! It was just enough space for all of us and we could have fit more. The house had everything we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving. It was a home away from home. Cameron was very proactive in letting us know how to get in and making sure we were good with check-out instructions. I would recommend this home to anyone who wanted to be away from the city, but close enough to local amenities. Great place to stay!

The house was incredible and Katy was very quick to respond. Hopefully we can come back during the summer and enjoy all of the amenities!

This house is next to Buchanan Lake, has a big yard, and very nice patio in the back yard. It has easy access to Inks Lake State Park, and Longhorn Cavern. There is a lot of trails for hiking or just walk along the Buchanan Lake. It is a good place for family vacation.

Our stay for Thanksgiving holidays was fantastic! A gorgeous view of the lake, fire pit next to water, and comfortable house made it just what we wanted.

This entire property was beautiful and I’m so grateful I was able to stay so last minute! Travis was very communicative and clear and I look forward to staying here again (hopefully) sometime soon!

The house was in great condition great place Jennifer was very nice and accommodating boat doc was 5 stars not many houses that have a doc for a wake board boat that was great we will be back great place to stay.

We appreciated the friendly vibe of the resort. Many guests had been coming there for years, which was impressive. The location right on the water front was prime property. These owners take care of their guests by connecting with them personally each day in the golf cart drive by.

It was clean and a lot of space for big families and has everything you need and I recommend it I would like to go back.

Judy is the ultimate host—friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring for her guests. She goes above and beyond, offering a full walk-through of the property upon arrival, providing special cards and treats for celebrations, and even offering golf cart rides to the lake, which is a bit of a distance from the house. The cabin is small but cozy and tastefully decorated, with a single bathroom, a pool table that kept the kids entertained, and very comfortable beds. It’s an ideal spot for families looking to spend quality time together!

We had a great weekend at the Lake house. The weather was beautiful, we really enjoyed the back patio. The setting is great and deer were just wandering around everywhere. The girls loved that!

Spend your entire time on property exploring on foot, via electric cart, or from the creek in provided kayaks. Stone firepit, gas grill as well as charcoal grill steps from the cabin & ready for s’mores, hot dogs or steaks! Or take a scenic drive to Llano, Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay or Fredericksburg for ample dining options. The flora & fauna outdid themselves…blanketing wild flowers, blooming prickly pear, deer (saw new born fawn), rabbits, wild turkeys, ducks, birds galore, turtles, & fish. Reminder that the cabin is in the country so if insects or lizards bother you this may not be your place. For everyone else…book it! Top it all off with super responsive & helpful hosts willing to go above & beyond & you have Comanche Creek Cabin, your perfect hill country get away for rest, relaxation & privacy.
