The B&B, a villa surrounded by greenery, is located in one of the most exclusive residential areas of the city. You will have 4 bedrooms for a total of 10 beds, 3 bathrooms, a living room and a terrace. Garden and kitchen are shared with the Host. Breakfast is included and we prepare it from 7.30 to 9.30 either in the garden or in the kitchen. The use of the kitchen is allowed but it must be left clean and tidy. Parking for two cars is in front of the house.

Our B&B is located on the most romantic of the Italian lakes: “lago d’Orta”, in the county of Alzo in the municipality of Pella (on the western side). The house is only 5 minutes from the lake shore of Pella (the beach, sailing club etc), 15 minutes from Omegna, Borgomanero, Orta Saint Giulio and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso, at 30 minutes from the Mottarone and Valsesia.

The best thing I can say about staying at Cherry En Rose, is that it was exactly ‘like the brochure’. The photographs which I took from my balcony were exactly as the pics on Airbnb. And the whole visit to Lezzeno/Lake Como was everything we dreamed it would be. Linda and her family were so warm and welcoming. The room was generous in size and had everything you would expect in a guesthouse. Breakfast was superb each day with as much coffee as you could want, and croissants, bread, eggs, cheese & ham to suit each taste. The pool also was fantastic. A good size for the type of accommodation with plenty of sunbathing area around for those who prefer not to swim. Lezzeno is a quiet village but still with 3 or 4 restaurants worth a visit. Additionally, Bellagio is only 15 mins by bus with a myriad of dining options and ferries to other Lake Como resorts. The locals were also very friendly and twice we enjoyed lifts into Bellagio when waiting for the bus to arrive. An unforgettable stay

We loved everything about our stay here! Castelnovate is a beautiful, quiet area with nature and history to explore. The B&B was clean and relaxing - a perfect place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Emanuela was gracious with her time and incredibly helpful in extending advice and transport. We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovingly furnished and very clean room with a super delicious breakfast and an incredibly beautiful view. Easy check-in and check-out. Loredana is very flexible, extremely attentive and super friendly. She even provided us with a crib for babies/toddlers. Thank you! We really enjoyed the stay in Italy and would be happy to come back.

Room in a very nice historic building in a quiet environment and completely surrounded by greenery. We really appreciated the aesthetic care of the spaces and the attention to detail (hard to find). Taino is a good starting point for visiting the various towns on Lake Maggiore while staying away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy villages at the same time. The hosts were very kind and helpful, if there is an opportunity we will be very happy to come back!

I can strongly recommend C'era Una Volta to anyone planning on visiting Varenna, or the Lake Como area more generally. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood at the top of a hill overlooking the lake valley. While the steepness of the hill may be daunting, it is easily accessed using the local (D21) bus system and the (free!) night bus service, which stops about a 5 minute walk from the B&B. I found the room to be quite comfortable, even if I wasn't the target audience for the old-timey theming. The breakfast was complete, with cereal, fruit, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, etc. But the star of the stay was Alessandro. Even before I arrived, he reached out with extensive information on the best way to get to the location from Varenna. When I arrived, I was immediately offered a drink and conversation. He refused to let me leave in the morning without breakfast, even though this meant preparing the meal two hours in advance. It's hard to even imagine a more proactive (yet tactful) host.

What an amazing place! Absolutely gorgeous. Away from everyone and everything, surrounded by nature. Sara was extremely kind and helpful, we were checked in very quickly, had a lot of canyon gear to dry, and she set us up in a perfect place with a balcony to dry. The food, oh delicious, absolutely delicious. All the staff so friendly. And then also the breakfast, perfect. We enjoyed a lot!! And would love to come back one day.
