Must see -- recently upgraded flooring downstairs. Enjoy your morning coffee/evening drinks on the deck or the covered pavilion located on the property. Spend time relaxing in the hot tub or hanging out by the fire pit w/family. Grill outside while enjoying a movie or your favorite sports! 5-minute walk to our neighborhood park with fishing, a small beach area, picnic tables, grill, sand volleyball court and lots of space to play. Thanks for providing such a beautiful and homey place! Lots of things in the house are carefully selected and the bed linen/towels smell good. My family and friends loved the house and we enjoyed using the kayaks. The house is pet friendly, our dog had great time as well. I especially like the glasses in the kitchen. No wonder why there are lines like not taking things away in check-out instruction. Don’t give me ideas…I do recommend this house to other travelers.

Amy was an amazing host. Very kind and considerate. Very responsive. The place is beautiful and cozy. Fun seeing all the wildlife. Great birdwatching, little turtles swimming nearby, fish jumping. Peaceful, neighbors are warm and unpretentious, people wave when you’re driving through the neighborhood. The bed was very comfy, everyone slept well, plenty of TVs for every one to enjoy in their rooms. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to cook at home. The coffee bar was well stocked which is awesome. The snacks were a great touch and everyone enjoyed that. The available games were fun too. Only wish our schedule would’ve allowed us to stay longer.

I highly recommend this place! It is so peaceful and well kept. It was the perfect retreat, yet close to everything one needs! The management team for the property is THE BEST I have ever experienced! They were so friendly, responsive, professional, thoughtful, generous….they made my stay quite perfect!

Sam was an incredible host! He was very kind to accommodate our group on short notice after our original Airbnb had to be canceled due to flooding. He even allowed us to check in early, which was a huge help. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our party of 10. The kids’ room was stocked with toys, and the living room had plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. The only minor issue was the bathtub, which didn’t seem clean—likely because it’s not often used—but we needed it for our little ones. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and we’re so grateful for Sam’s flexibility and hospitality. Highly recommend!

Cute house! The unpredictable high winds kept us from our boating plans but we were still able to enjoy the double decker dock and patio. We enjoyed the beautiful weather with a family hike at Sam Houston National Park just a short drive from the house. The hosts suggestions helped to easily make dinner plans.
