Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Leelanau

We couldn’t have asked for a better fall weekend up north. The colors were fabulous and the lake was gorgeous. Ben and Alessia’s cottage is wonderful and has a prime location on the lake. They had all amenities that we could ask for in the cottage. All the beds were very comfortable and the living room is cozy. The fire pit outside was great to have a bonfire too. Everything was so nice and clean and there was easy access to whatever we needed. We had no complaints about anything and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation up north!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for almost a week in late October to enjoy some hiking and the fall colors. The house was very clean and was very well stocked with towels, kitchenware, etc. Beautiful and well maintained house. Would absolute stay here again.

This property is flat out amazing! The pictures do not do this place justice. The layout of the house is perfect for a family vacation with plenty of space all over the house! Game room is amazing with the theater seating and huge TV, the deck is a great place to lounge, walk out door on the ground floor is a nice touch, rooms have a nice view of the lake. The house is very clean and has everything that you need. Yes, the house is amazing, but David made this stay a one of a kind. I asked a lot of questions and he was patient, understanding, and welcoming as a host from start to finish. Communication with David was very clear and concise. Thank you again David for making this vacation one that we will never forget! We will definitely be coming back to stay at one of your properties!

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

The host was so friendly, the views were beyond stunning. And I found a petoskey!! I wish I had never left!

We loved this home. Perfect for our sibling wkend. The home was very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Plenty of Living space. Loved the kitchen. The deck & all the furniture plentiful. A Firepit, khakis if you want to be on the water. Plenty of bedrooms, linens & beach towels. You won’t be sorry with your stay. The location is perfect between Traverse City to Suttons Bay the other direction. I would recommend a new coffee pot for the kitchen. It takes a long time to brew.

Chelsea's place was amazing! It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The weather was cold, snowy and gloomy all weekend so we spent time relaxing by the fireplace and enjoying a weekend away from our day-to-day chaos. Even with a neighbor next door, the house and lot felt very private. The grocery store and some good little restaurants were only a few minutes drive away and the view of the lake from the living room and bedrooms was lovely as well. Chelsea was incredible friendly, helpful and responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Chelsea's place again in the future!

We stayed here for my sisters bachelorette weekend and had such a great time. The place was perfect for us to have space to hangout in the evenings. There were plenty of beds for all of us to sleep comfortably. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the woods, this is a great one! The view off the porch is beautiful and the log cabin feel is great! 5/5 stars from us!

The house was excellent and exactly what we needed for our stay in the area. Close to our venue, the area has so much to explore and do. We were able to easily get to a lot of awesome places.

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

Stylish house on a beautiful lot close to Lake Leelanau. The interior and exterior design are outstanding, the outdoor sitting and BBQ area are fantastic, the views are amazing, the house is tranquil and gives you peace of mind. Amazing place to relax, go for activities, enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time. Sean was proactive and responsive in communication. We felt right at home and would always come back.

Wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Minutes from downtown. Very responsive when questions were asked and gave many great recommendations. Highly recommend this house for your place to stay in Traverse city.

Stayed for a wedding in Traverse City. We felt right at home here. Comfortable, clean, beautiful views of the lake. Everything we wanted to do was within quick 10-15 min drive. Target, Walmart, and Sam’s Club very close by for groceries.

The house is stunning! We did encounter some difficulties during our stay that need to be addressed but these are no fault of the house and surroundings that’s why I am leaving 5 stars as I am confident these issues will be addressed.

wonderful lakeside home with plenty of privacy. lots of lake activities/equipment for kids, lots of space for eating & board games, & convenient location a tucked little further from downtown. Carrie was a wonderful and super responsive host who helped us promptly resolve an accidentally locked shed. Would highly recommend as a perfect lakeside retreat!

We so enjoyed our family trip here! It felt like a tree house upstairs looking out to trees and the lake. It was a cozy family room area. We had a great time kayaking in big Sanford lake. It was so peaceful on the weekdays we were there. Sometimes we were the only kayakers. It was close to Traverse City and we checked out Frankfort and Crystal Mountain too. Overall would recommend!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful and comfortable. There were many things to do on the lake and amenities to use. I had to drag my husband away since he didn't want to leave. Jennifer was an impeccable hostess and not only takes great care of the property but went above and beyond to make our stay carefree. I loved the information given on surround business and personal touches to make us feel welcomed. Thank you. Just a warning the fish in this lake love to tease and are experts at getting a free breakfast from your lines!

Amazing!! Incredibly peaceful getaway right on the lake. The house was even better than we expected from the photos. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to the Traverse City area. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at Harry's. The home was decorated well. Mattress and coziness made for a great night's sleep. Appliances all worked well. Location was good.

This was our second time staying at Sweet Lake Retreat and once again it did not disappoint! The cabin is perfectly laid out and has views that at times appear to not be real. The snow cover was beautiful! We spent the mornings and evenings soaking up the relaxing heat from the woodstove. There are lots of things to do within short drives during any season. This has become one of our favorite places to visit and we look forward to returning. Thanks Sam!
