Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Lanier

We had an amazing time celebrating my daughter Tamara’s birthday and Passover at this Lake Lanier Airbnb! The home was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated — even better than the listing (which doesn’t do it justice). We had a large group and everyone had plenty of room. The two kitchens was an added bonus, as we had a lot of mouths to feed. I'm a total clean freak and usually travel with my own sheets and blankets — but I didn't need them here. I even walked around barefoot, which I never do! The pool and hot tub were perfect, we couldn't keep the children of the pool. William went above and beyond — coming by to heat the pool, warm the spa, and help with deliveries that were mistakenly placed in the homes mailbox. They even left special desserts and decorations for our celebration. And also allowed us a late check out which helped us tremendously as we had a lot to pack up. The house was well-stocked and felt like a peaceful retreat. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

We were able to celebrate Christmas at Joanie’s house with three young grandchildren. The children absolutely loved the house and it was very kid friendly. The entire downstairs was designed for children. It was perfect! The house was immaculate and apparently the cleaning crew is a five star. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance and feature that a chef would ever want. Everything in the home is over the top quality. The bed in the master was superb. The master bathroom is large and ever so handy. There was so much storage room in those two rooms. The views of the lake were so beautiful and since it is winter, we could see the water and enjoyed watching the children down by the fire their daddy built. Since we are from Florida, it felt extremely cold! It was fun to feel and see the change of seasons. Everything about this trip was so perfect. Our six year-old said he did not want to go home and he wanted to stay in the lake house for 100 years. 😄

Wow! Our stay at Justin and Tera's beautiful home on Lake Lanier was everything we wanted and needed! The property is gorgeous, and the house is so nice, well decorated, and clean! The beds are cozy, the kitchen is awesome, and the dock right on the water is just perfect! The Olympic venue on Lanier is literally just around the corner from the cove where the dock is, and the boat ramp is free to use! We had our 13-year-old lab/Heeler mix along with our Pontoon boat, and it was just the most peaceful and enjoyable stay! Tera and Justin were so responsive and helpful, and they really made the stay so very comfortable! We hope to stay with them again soon!

Cute and quiet house. we had a nice peaceful time at the pace and kids enjoyed the paddle boat. host was very responsive and helpful to help clean up the boat before we use. also loved the fire pit and abundant of wood and loved the deck.

This lake house is probably the nicest Airbnb my family and I have ever stayed in! The hot tub and pool overlooking the lake was breathtaking! I’ve never seen an Airbnb so stocked with everything we needed from towels to face wash and toothbrushes we didn’t go without anything. The games were our absolute favorite and there were too many activities to count! Some activities include, pool, air hockey, ping pong and basketball! There are so many board games so even if it rained you’d be entertained here for days. The house has plenty of room for everyone to be together or in our own separate spaces— every room had a tv! Overall, I am very impressed and would love to book again for next year! Worth every penny!

Nicole is such a great host. The house is phenomenal! The house smells great when you walk in. we loved our stay. I would rent this house again! The patio, the backyard, everything was amazing. Thank you Nicole for being such an amazing host.

Very clean and beautiful decorated space! We loved the large living room/kitchen areas. The deck was so large and in good condition which was important to me having brought my children. We will be back again!

All around, my family and I enjoyed our stay. The home and accommodations were thoughtfully arranged. Having wood for the fire pit, ingredients ready for s’mores, and a coffee bar filled with K-cups, was a nice touch. Additionally, having a jacuzzi, deck sitting area, and a pool table down stairs, gave us some extra things to do during our stay. The only recommended improvement is adding some easier access to the dock area. Otherwise superior home, and a superior experience! Thank you.

The house is beautiful and stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom is spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kids loved the game room, though they need an extension cord for the air hockey table. We would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at many cabins in the North Georgia mountains. This is one of the most comfortable places our group has ever stayed. There was a beautiful view with a lake at the foot of the hill where our cabin stood. The beds were also very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies.

I took my teenage daughter and her friend for a 'girls' weekend' at the lake. Karen's place was absolutely perfect and she was an exceptional host. We did have a small issue with the AC, which Karen corrected immediately. She was very responsive, very friendly, and very accommodating. (Plus this AirBnb comes with a DOG!! Sam is the sweetest goodest boy). We would definitely return to Karen's place and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful week in this home. There were 4 adults and 2 teenagers and 1 dog. All of us found spots to relax. It’s been about 2 weeks since we were there, and what stuck with me was sitting in the back porch in the mornings listening to the birds and watching the great blue heron. If I could change something about the house, I would have 2 bathrooms upstairs, but I know that would be an expensive investment. It would also be great to have more places to hang towels. Thank you so much Jauxniece! You were so good to us!!!!

Great stay in every way…

Clean, homey, lots of utensils, amenities and kitchen/cleaning tools, everything you could ask for really. Host communicated quickly and clearly. Beautiful view and access to the lake. Would highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place, look no further than. This is a gem for nature lovers where you can see many species of birds and wildlife while being near the city. The place is very comfortable and cozy. The view of the lake is beautiful specially in the early morning when you can have a perfect breakfast outside viewing the lake. The house has many table games and a great billiards table for use. This was a great stay for us and would definitely consider it again.

I came with my family to enjoy thanksgiving in the mountains. This place was beautiful, the house was cozy, and Veronica was SUPER responsive to all questions I had!

We had a good stay at Whippoorwill. We cook a lot and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with different pots and pans and also basic necessities (salt pepper/sugar/oil/vinegar). The A/C works well and surrounding area is prettt quiet, it backs up to a national forest. The home was one minute away from a popular day-use area with lake access, picnic tables and trails. It's only a few minutes from the dam day use areas (including river access) and maybe 8 min from Morganton point day use area which was the nicest, most beach-like lake access point we found. I will say based on the google map image I was expecting the home to have more of a lake view, that was the only downside, but it's summer so the trees are grown in. You can see it from the upstairs windows and from part of the porch though and we were able to see fireworks displays over the lake in July 3rd and 5th (we could see some of the 7/4 ones over the dam but trees blocked some of them). I would stay here again.

Beautiful updated house, particularly the bathrooms. View of lake, golf course and mountain can’t be beat! Hosts provided lots of information about the location and things to do. Kitchen was well stocked with needed items to cook there, which was nice for our stay. Great stay with our family!
