Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Hartwell

Cabin was beautiful and well equipped. The view overlooking the lake was amazing. Was great to have morning coffee out on the deck looking at the lake and watching all the birds. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace on chilly nights. Space was perfect for 5 adults and 2 kids. Would love to go back when weather is warmer to swim and kayak in lake. John was a gracious host and very responsive.

Hartwell manor is absolutely breathtaking. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house supplies everything needed and feels like home. We held a reception for our micro wedding and the house was perfect for entertaining!! Plenty of space and beautiful views. We can’t wait to come back. One thing missing is a guest book which would be cool for all the guest to sign! Overall, perfect for any occasion!

This home was adorable! Home was clean, beds were super comfy, outdoor space was beautiful and private, and the home decor was cozy. It felt like staying at my grandma's home with all the cute decor. There is a gorgeous piano in the home for anyone who enjoys playing. Had no issues at the home. The only thing that was a little difficult was that I arrived in the dark, and the driveway was covered in leaves, so navigating to the parking area was a little challenging but their instructions did help us find our way.

We had a wonderful family reunion Thanksgiving at Alan’s. The house exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and comfortable, we had plenty of space and the kitchen was extremely well stocked! Many people in our party commented that the pictures did not do the property justice. We were a multigenerational family, and everyone found something to do whether it was watching football from the cozy basement or going on the lake in the paddleboard or hanging out in the hot tub!It was the perfect way to spend our holiday with our senior Tigers!

Our stay with Stephanie was wonderful. Her place is exactly as described, and her instructions on how to take care of the place are helpful. A nice area to walk our dogs. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful deer. Her neighbors were very nice and social. The dock is amazing. Having a cover is definitely a plus. The screened in porch was nice to sit on in the morning aned evening. The kitchen is well stocked. Well will definitely stay here again.

When I asked if there was a chair to sit outside and drink my coffee, she set me up with a patio chair, foot stool and side table where I got the morning sun and could look out at the golden trees. That is a sweet host! The hollies that screened the studio from the main house were full of berries. Close to everything I needed to get to.

We absolutely loved staying here. There were so many sweet extra touches. I felt like if I had left something at home, everything would have been fine! There were some snacks, toiletries, extra towels, etc. We would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed one night and it was perfect distance to Clemson as I dropped off my son to stay overnight on campus and picked him up the next day. Very cute shops on Main St and in Seneca. thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at this lakeside gem. There is space for everyone to spread out and gather together. Our family cooks/bakes and the kitchen is well-equipped. The host was super helpful and responded quickly to questions our group posed. This is the first time a host has ever read my profile, noticed my sensitivity to scents, and mentioned it in communications. Lovely!

Lisa was an excellent host. We scheduled our booking late the night before we intended to check-in. She went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed with a quick turnaround, was friendly, and made us feel welcome as we arrived. She was responsive and kind. The accommodations were great and so beautiful. Lisa was also flexible with our check-out time, giving us a slow morning and allowing the children to play on the dock and spend some time in nature. We had a lovely time and would stay again. Thank you, Lisa!

We used this air bnb for a place to stay within 25 minutes of niece’s wedding venue. It saved us about 1&1/2 hours daily on commuting. It was great for family to get ready and enjoy while I was helping with setting up and clean up of venue. It was perfect with table, 4 chairs and 4 stools for games. I heard my kids, grands, and cousins who stopped by laugh so much that I was overjoyed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Bathrooms had all amenities that you need. Kitchen was clean and furnished nicely. Hosts even had pretzel snacks, oatmeal packets , coffee(with creamer and flavoring furnished) hot chocolate and pancake mix with syrup available. We would definitely come back if we had another event in the area. Dogs had lots of room to run and play in backyard that was very clean and well maintained. We felt very safe here.

We decided to spend Thanksgiving near Clemson and saw this place. The location was dog friendly and had a very large yard for them to run. It was quite, peaceful and was close to Lake Hartwell State Park so we could take the pups for a walk along the lake. Loved having a smart TV, a grill to use and a garage we could park in. The sofa. loveseat and recliner were comfortable and the beds were comfortable as well. The description on the listing was exactly as stated when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

Jason was very proactive and responsive. Location is removed but still extremely close to all of Seneca’s offerings. Had fun at the pool.

This AirBnB was perfect. I booked this with 6 of my friends to attend the Clemson homecoming game and we had a lovely time. Diana is extremely nice and friendly, and even provided some breakfast treats for us in the kitchen when we arrived. Her home is lovely and peaceful, we had no issues or disturbances the whole time we stayed. You will not regret booking with this amazing host! Thank you Diana!!!

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

The villa has an absolutely beautiful view of Lake Hartwell and the location is very peaceful. Gorgeous view from living room and screened in back porch! We love that Sadler's Creek State Park is walking distance right next door with walking trails to enjoy nature :)

Very cozy quaint spot! Perfect for our weekend getaway to catch a few Clemson events! Will definitely be back!
