My stay at the Serotonin Chalet in Florissant was nothing short of spectacular! This Airbnb is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind in tranquility. As night fell, the dark sky turned into a canvas sprinkled with stars, ideal for stargazing—a truly mesmerizing experience. Adding to the charm was a classic record player accompanied by a selection of spectacular albums that kept up with the nostalgia I adore. John Denver and The Doobie Brothers became the soundtrack of our stay, played on repeat and enhancing the ambiance with their timeless tunes. Moreover, the chalet offers a delightful twist with a classic arcade game, Pac-Man, which proved to be a hit not just for kids but for adults too—husbands included! This nostalgic touch added a unique flavor to our peaceful getaway. I highly recommend the Serotonin Chalet for anyone seeking a quiet, perfectly relaxing escape.

One word to describe the location: AMAZING!!!! It’s very intimate!! Very private!!! View is AMAZING!!! Everything was as described !! Communication with the Host was clear and available !!! I definitely will do it again!!!

It was a wonderful stay! We enjoyed our weekend at this cabin and the outdoor play scape was perfect for our 1 year old. I would stay here again with less people. The living room seating wasn’t great for 5 adults. However, if you are planning on only sleeping at the house or if it was warmer weather and the outdoor space could be utilized more, the small living room wouldn’t be as big of a deal. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable and I liked that there were 3 full bathrooms! It was super clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals.

Fantastic place for a weekend getaway. The hot tube was warm when we arrived and we enjoyed a snowy evening soak. Close to tavern. Cute place. Would return for another weekend!

Jeff's cabin is the perfect little getaway. We enjoyed our stay, surrounded by mountains ,and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Jeff gave great written directions on how to get to the cabin, so make sure to follow those. The little town of Victor is about 20 minutes away and Cripple Creek about 30 minutes away. We enjoyed driving to Cripple Creek and did a bit of gambling one day, and the next day we went to Victor and did a short hike to "Rita the Rock Planter Troll". When we weren't out exploring, we were enjoying the gas fire pit and quality times with friends playing board games. It was honestly great not having wifi or cellphone service. Jeff's place is very open and fit 5 of us and two dogs comfortably. We will definitely stay at Jeffs cabin again.

This was the perfect private getaway for our girls weekend. Plenty of beds to sleep in. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed so we could cook our own meals. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the place and the beautiful scenery. The whole place was amazing and filled every need. The only thing we were surprised with was that the hot tub was not very hot, more like a warm bath. And on a snowy February weekend a HOT tub would have really checked all the boxes. I would recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone who wants to get away from it all and just enjoy being in a beautiful place.

This place is charming and gives you the feel of being outside of the city, without actually being far from amenities. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the puzzles! We left an additional puzzle so hopefully the next people enjoy them as much as we do. Would stay here again.

We had a great time at Barry and Karen's cabin. It was a quiet relaxing weekend in the mountains which is just what we wanted. The hot tub and grill were the cherry on top to our weekend away. We are excited to return in the future.

We felt right at home the moment that we arrived. Julie's home was immaculate and extremely cozy. The mountain views are unbeatable and we even had some deer come through the yard the morning we checked out. Thank you so much for making your home accessible to visitors. Staying here was a real treat.

Douglas and Annie were fantastic. This place was lovely from the home to the scenery. They had lists together for everything you can do in the area. The place was extremely clean. Check-in was smooth and my girlfriend and dog loved the place as well. As long as you follow the rules listed by the hosts your pets will love it here!

This was our second stay in this cabin so you know we had to have a great time there to come back again. The view is beautiful and quiet! There are others around but you feel like you’re the only one. In 2022 we brought our dog Bear but it was sad this year because he passed away but he really loved it too. I didn’t realize we left the Dog lead so he could stay outside with us, it was sad to see it was still there. The weather could not have been better. It’s a very comfortable and great place to stay.

This Airbnb was our home for the weekend to enjoy Our Galentines! It was rustic cozy clean and absolutely perfect. The view was beyond gorgeous! It was so spacious and just the perfect space to get away from it all. We will definitely keep this Airbnb in mind for our future getaways.

thank you Mark and Stacie both for your early communications before I left for my trip. honestly I was a little anxious, I have never rented from Airbnb or anything like it before. other than going to the occasional KOA. I was blown away by the beauty and peacefulness of it all. the inside of the cabin was just as beautiful. it was clean and cozy and exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend to anybody that just needs to get away for a little while. thank you both again for an experience I won't soon forget. We really enjoyed our stay here! The neighborhood was very peaceful and there was mule deer in the yard in the afternoons! The house was very clean and beautifully furnished. The hot tub and sauna were perfect with the chilly temps, and the wrap around deck was everything!! Couldn’t recommend more!

We had such a wonderful stay at Ross’s cabin, the property and views were absolutely beautiful! It gave such a cozy vibe and all of the beds were very comfortable. I loved the feeling of being lost in the mountains but also having the nearest town cripple creek just right up the road with many great restaurants, casinos and ice castles (in-season). I definitely plan to be back and would recommend this place to anyone !

We stayed here over the coldest weekend yet of the year - below zero temps! - and were very pleasantly surprised by how cozy and warm the cabin stayed. Can’t beat the location for hikes and adventures, and we loved the cabin’s historic flavor, with lovely modern touches. Comfy, warm beds, plenty of space for our family of three, didn’t even notice the chill outside! If you are cooks (as we are), I’d advise you to bring your own seasonings, olive oil, cutting board, pans, etc. as the cabin is only minimally set up for its equally minimal kitchen - not a criticism, just a word of advice, as the listing is accurate about its kitchen amenities :) Overall, lovely getaway in a pleasant, cozy cabin. Highly recommend!
