Amanda was a very responsive and helpful host. The house was just as described … private, quiet, picturesque location/views. The patio provided a beautiful view of the quiet lake where we enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and grill. The interior of the home was spacious, clean and provided plenty of beds and baths for our family group. We would definitely consider this home for a future warm weather vacation. Highly recommend!

Cute cottage and a cute town. Ended up booking during the town’s annual lake fest and very nice. Great cottage and was a bed a breakfast. Bonus although we were there for the lake so went out early the days we were there. Would book again

My colleague and I stayed here for work, but we both agreed it would be a nice place to vacation! The house was very cozy and clean, and our host Nichol was kind and welcoming. Definitely a nice place to get away for a while!

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

Cooper’s landing is always amazing stay! This was my third time staying and every single time has been accommodating to our needs in every way: from dinner reservations (and all of our indecisions), to dietary needs (vegetarian), to early morning breakfast needs and so much more. All staff members are easy to communicate with, polite and friendly.

Quaint and private location. Long gravel drive that could require four wheel drive. Beautiful screened back porch with lake view that is lovely. House very clean and tidy.

We had a beautiful weekend and enjoyed our stay and would definitely book McKenzie’s place again! The view is amazing and we caught tons of fish off the dock! Very quiet and private, but easy to run up to the grocery store and we loved the coffee shop at the top of the neighborhood! McKenzie answer all of our questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

A wonderful place to stay and very cozy, we hosted our son’s birthday parties there and celebrated Easter & some fishing as well. It was the perfect house we really enjoyed our selves & good family time. The bonfire setup and all the wood that was provided was the best!! Our kids rated it the BEST EASTER EVER! 💗

My whole family really really enjoyed staying at Mary's Place. Very quiet neighborhood and very nice furniture, very clean . Will stay there again. My family very close by within few minutes driving distance

Everything about the location and the home was fantastic. We throughly enjoyed our weekend get away to nature. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything anyone would need to spend a nice relaxing time. Summer was super nice, responsive and very accommodating. Lake was near by, quick drive or about 15 min walk, very peaceful in the morning. Fire pit outside in the evening was incredible. Overall great place to get away into the nature. Looking forward to return!

Perfect cozy house for kids ! Boat house was amazing, with a swimmable area. Kitchen is stocked with all basic cooking equipment. Clean and quiet. Outside has a fire pit, grill, and corn hole. Will return!

I needed a place to stay while waiting for repairs to be done to my home. Constance's Place was exactly what I was looking for. To say it was peaceful is an understatement. You will see deer, turkeys, and other wildlife right off of her front porch swing! The decor was wonderful and I felt so at home while I was there for over 2 months. There are plenty of great walking trails on the property. The lake is beautiful and a great place to relax while sitting on the dock! Didn't get on one of the Kayaks, Canoe, or Jon Boat, but they were available. Constance was always very responsive and polite. She had fresh eggs waiting at the house and even fresh peppers right off of her plants outside! The fire pit is huge and enough wood so you will never run out. If you need a truly peaceful, old world, country experience then I highly recommend that you check out Constance's Place! Thank you Constance for everything and God Bless you and your family!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Cypress Cove cottage. Spectacular lake view and peaceful setting. The home was comfortable and very clean. Beth has thought of all the extras to make for a great stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect for visiting relatives in the Weldon/Roanoke Rapids area. What really made the experience stand out was the host. She was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout my stay. You can tell she really cares about making her guests feel at home. From the smooth check-in process to the little personal touches around the home, everything was spot-on. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay and a wonderful host. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was the perfect place for our anniversary weekend getaway and also for celebrating my nephew’s 3rd birthday. The house was easy to find and access, and the host went above and beyond by putting up a few birthday decorations and even leaving a sweet little gift for the birthday boy—such a thoughtful touch! The home was very clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything you could need for a short or long stay. It has two spacious bedrooms with easy access to the living room, bathroom, and kitchen. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed having access to the dock—it was great for swimming, fishing, and just relaxing by the water. The host was very helpful, provided clear instructions, and gave us great recommendations for local dining and activities. Communication was quick and friendly. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again when we’re back in the area!

My partner and I had the most relaxing weekend getaway at this beautiful A-frame cabin! The setting is peaceful and surrounded by trees, which made it feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin itself is gorgeous—thoughtfully designed, clean, and cozy, with lovely touches that made it feel like home. One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending time at the private dock on the nearby lake. It was such a peaceful spot to sit, talk, and take in the scenery—especially in the morning with our coffee! The quiet, natural surroundings made everything feel calm and restorative. The host was wonderful: kind, responsive, and made everything seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a restful retreat. We’d absolutely love to return!

Clean, comfortable, bright and relaxing house with great lake views. Had everything we needed. Spent 2 mornings playing disc golf in the area, but other than that, there was no reason to leave the property. Kristen was a great host with great communication. Would love to visit this spot again!

From check in through the end of our stay Margo was great. The house was well appointed and was accurately described both in the photos and the listing. Literally couldn’t have had a better host or place to stay!! Will definitely be booking again and will be recommending both the host and the home to anyone who asks.
