Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Davis

Wow! What a gorgeous cabin and location. We really enjoyed our weekend at Leah's house. It's beautifully decorated, has high-end appliances throughout and everything was spotless. Entry/exit was easy and there was garage parking for our car. The cabin even has a view of Donner lake.

It was our second time staying at Matt & Andrea's perfect little cabin at lovely Prattville on Lake Almanor. It really is the perfect spot on the west shore. Can't wait to stay there again!

Great house close to Sugarbowl. Brent was very flexible and helpful. Kitchen was nice, the beds were comfy and the front stairs were heated (so no shoveling!). We hope to be back for another ski trip!

I can't say enough about this property or Elizabeth and John. The space is breathtakingly beautiful and such an incredible find. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We can't wait to come back! MUCH LOVE!

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. This was our second year we have rented this place for our family's annual lake trip. We loved it! The upgraded air conditioner in the living room and the ceiling fans in each bedroom definitely made it a very comfortable experience. You also can't beat the private dock and beach area. We will be booking this place again for next year. We love the privacy of this home too. Very grateful for the quick responses from the host too when we had any minor questions. Definitely can't wait for our trip next year!

Fantastic! The place was exactly as described. The whole place was very clean and the linens were pristine, which is something that always makes me really happy. There were thoughtful touches everywhere and this cabin made for a great place for a quick snowy vacation (in April!!!). We liked the huge driveway, and the secluded (yet close to the lake) location of the cabin. We use airbnb a lot and the texts from our host stood out as one of the most helpful, full of local recommendations, info about our place, and local things to do. We found the place charming, and we would stay again in a heart beat. (Dog friendly too!)

Perfect stay for a weekend for 2 couples in Truckee. Well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook good dinners. The living room is lovely and we spent tons of time there relaxing. And the hot tub views are fantastic. Would absolutely come back the next time I'm in Truckee!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed plus more. Scott was very proactive with communication and made the check in and out process a breeze.

Beautiful cabin in the woods with comfortable beds and relaxing hot tub. Hot tub was already warm when we arrived and no extra charge to use the hot tub. Wonderful kitchen where we made breakfast and we went out to dinner at local restaurants. About 10 mins away from Boreal and Donner Ski Ranch and close to several other Tahoe Ski resorts. We woke up to several cute chipmunks running in the snow right outside the sliding door. Would go back.

Barbora & Curtis were great hosts. Always responsive and answered the many questions I had. The location is convenient and very close to groceries. Garage was deep and roomy, there was a sled and plenty of shovels, boot warmers, and a ping pong table! Inside the house looked even better in person. There is a fireplace and central heating/cooling. Wasn’t a huge fan of the slippery couches but it still did the job. Everything was pretty clean for the most part, plus extra sheets and towels. Kitchen was stocked with supplies and seasonings for cooking. We went mid March when there were tons of snow on the ground to play with in the backyard. Keep in mind there are no fences and the space is shared with other houses, but we were the only ones out in the back so it felt pretty private. There is a slight hill and were able to create a sled run! We ran into a bobcat while taking the dog out at night, and we also heard coyotes howling nearby. Overall, cozy place and I’d recommend to anyone.

This was our family’s second stay at Wade’s place. The house is very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed, including lots of towels, plenty of detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine, and all the necessary kitchen accessories. Wade is a very courteous host. He proactively reached out to us a couple of times to make sure our stay was going well. Some of our favorite perks include the heated bathroom floor, rainfall shower, and hot tub! Thanks for another great stay!

Our extended family stayed through the Christmas holidays. The space was perfect for our multiage group to have together and private time. The kitchen was very well set up and easy for multiple cooks to work together. Our hostess was incredibly thoughtful going extra miles to do things like get us a permit so we could cut a tree on the national forest, decorating the house beautifully, and leaving wonderful gifts for the children. The house is packed with family games and puzzles and a has hot tub. The forest setting is beautiful and quiet. I can't recommend this place more highly for family or friend groups to enjoy some time together.

Doug and Marlene’s place is everything you could want for a Tahoe getaway. After staying in 10+ places in Truckee, this is by far our favorite. It’s spacious, cozy, and fully stocked, with plenty of room for gear. The abundance of towels (a rare find!), a huge kitchen, and an oversized garage - big enough for two SUVs with room to spare - made our stay even better. The hot tub is perfectly placed right off the back door, super private, and no snow trekking required. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our next stay!

Exactly what we were looking for! We wanted one night away with our two dogs and this was PERFECT. The dogs were so happy I was scared they would never want to leave. The house is so CUTE and super cool. Loved how off the grid and fully prepared the house was

Had a great stay in Tahoe with my friends for a birthday ski weekend! Place was clean, nice, and spacious. Olga was kinda to let us come back when we left our swimsuits at the property. She is very responsive and communicative!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house by Donner Lake. The home is spotless, well-maintained, and offers breathtaking views of the mountains. The lake is just a short walk away, which made it easy to enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, and the WiFi was fast and reliable — perfect for both relaxing and staying connected. MaryAnn is a wonderful host: very responsive, kind, and always ready to help. We’d love to come back if we get the chance!

Great cabin, don’t hesitate to book if you are looking for a place near Donner Lake. The kitchen is well stocked so that made it easy to prepare breakfast during our stay. Very easy to communicate to host. Would stay here again.

Excellent Airbnb. Highly recommend. I think this was my 6th time staying here. Keep coming back for friendly and responsive hosts, quiet surroundings, great views, clean and comfortable furnishings, proximity to lots of activities, thoughtful touches and reasonable pricing.

I've stayed at a few places and this was by far the most clean and cozy of our stays! Jane's co-host, Denise, was very responsive, kind and friendly and was there to answer any questions we had. This home is absolutely beautiful. There has obviously been a lot of thought put into the decor, theme, and comfort of the home. We felt so comfortable and cozy! There was a fire pit and grill with ample seating facing the river that ran behind the home. There was a cozy and easy to function fireplace that added the cherry on top to a comfy evening inside. A lot of little touches throughout the home that really brought everything together and gave you a cabin feel with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed my husband and son's birthday in the snow (15 mins up the road) and came home to a beautiful view and grilled outside and ate together. Honestly pictures don't do this place justice. We will be back! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We had a great time at Michelle and Connor's place. There was plenty of space for two families of 4 plus dogs. The location is close to everything yet still feels peaceful. You are minutes from groceries and old town Truckee and 20 minutes from skiing. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Kevin’s place! If there were six stars to give, this place would deserve them. Everything is as described but what is hard to put in words is the immediate feeling of being home when entering the cabin - just the right blend of mountain cabin decor, lots of space and perfect functionality. Kevin was great to communicate with and super helpful in ensuring that we have a relaxed stay. Can’t wait to come back!
