We had a wonderful thanksgiving stay at the cottage! What a beautiful space and we felt right at home- for a family get together it can’t be beat. It looks exactly like the photos and the view of the lake is breathtaking. Don’t think, just book! 😊

Jeremy's home in the Kawartha's was absolutely perfect for our 2 families and young children. From the moment we arrived we felt so at home! The property is stunning, nestled amongst the trees, though wide open and bright- there is generous deck space, a lawn for kids to run around on (as well as a zip line, swing and hammocks!!) and a sweet meandering path that leads to a quiet lake and dock. The home itself has a comfortable, spacious and relaxed vibe. It's mid century, art filled and modern. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for creative cooking, and the amenities in general are generous- from board games to water sports, sauna and hot tub. While there we had rainy days and colder days, but there was always so much to do and explore that every day was rich. This home would also be a perfect winter getaway.. maybe one day!

Similar to other listings, the cottage looked way better in person. It was super cozy and just enough space for our group of 6 friends. The stairs to the second floor were a little more steep than we expected but we got used to them towards the end. We had a great time with the amenities available and had a wonderful experience.

My friends and I had a great stay at Erin's place. It offered a beautiful, tranquil setting, with easy access to Bala by car. Would definitely recommend!

We spent a couple of days up here, and it was as described. It took me back to my childhood! The classic “by the lake” cottage. And it is that. Complete with a breezeway with life jackets, a great dock, and of course the fantastic lake. We enjoyed a campfire, and the place had everything we needed, for meals and memories. It is a cottage though. You should expect that. It isn’t fancy, and Geoff doesn’t describe it that way. It is how he describes. Geoff is also very responsive, and when we had a question, came back right away. It was a nostalgic little getaway for us! We loved it.

Ace was a great host again. The place was exactly as described. The river access made it very enjoyable to cool off on the hot days. His neighbour was friendly, came to say hi and gave recommendations on things to do in the area. Highly recommended.

This beautiful cottage has room for the entire family to enjoy while still having enough rooms or outdoor spaces for family members to enjoy their own quiet time as well. The lake is beautiful and we look forward to going back in the summer!

We had a great time at George’s house with our friends. We went there to enjoy the fall colors and this house is a perfect spot to enjoy fall colors near by. Kayak in the fresh lake water right behind the house is really good experience. House looks exactly shown in the images. I recommend this to anyone who want to enjoy time with friends and family in a peaceful location.

Myself, my husband and our dog had the pleasure of staying at Jaan & Nithya's place for four days and it was a perfect quiet getaway. The place was spacious, clean and very neat and tidy. The kitchen was stocked with supplies and cooking appliances. The location was great for us. We spent time outdoors walking around Fenelon Falls (only a 8 minute drive), exploring the area. If you are looking to get away and enjoying waking up and having your coffee with a beautiful view of the lake, we highly recommend staying here.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Wendake Beach House! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Private, peaceful surroundings, beautiful beach vibe decor and steps to Wendake Beach, which we absolutely loved playing at every day...and the sunsets were stunning! Thanks so much for hosting us. The space was perfect for myself and son plus my mother and her partner plus their little dog. Everyone had their own space. My son loved the game room and had a couple of his hockey pals over to play. Definitely will be back next hockey tournament.

Steve is really helpful and proactive for the instruction. Place is well built. Overall it's a wonderful getaway place!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and a perfect location that was still near to stores if you need to get groceries or even get to the gas station. Also, it was located near balsam Lake provincial Park, which was really fun to go to and had a great hike there to do if you’re looking for something to do nearby. The place was very peaceful and we brought our furry friend with us who had a great time swimming and even met one of the neighbor dogs who he got to play with. We highly recommend this to anyone going on a family friendly trip or even with friends. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we would definitely recommend it.

The place is very cozy, clean, and easy to find. We enjoyed both the outdoor activities and chilling inside our cute cottage. Good memories to remember with your love ones.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here - a quiet peaceful place in a beautiful cottage. The bedrooms were in different areas of the home so late-night TV watching from one room wasn't heard in other locations. The kitchen was gorgeous overlooking the backyard and lagoon, with a large family area just beside it. We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The two hosts - Darla and Dave - were wonderful and gave us a quick tour of their place when we arrived, and quickly responded to a text message while we were staying there. Lovely place, highly recommended!

Yasmin’s place is nice and clean. There are free kayak and paddle boards provided, which is a super plus!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

Liana was very helpful and responsive. Made my stay stress-free!

Cabin #9 was amazing! Perfect size for 2 people! Amazing balcony with a table and chairs and a BBQ. So much to do close by! Paddleboats, Kayaks, Canoes, a pool and more! Larger yard area to play some sports. Host was very responsive and super friendly! I would definitely come back again!

Great location to stay, 2nd time here and we had a better time than the first! Highly recommend this lovely property and Justin is a great host!

Definitely will be booking again. Very relaxing!
