Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Como

Monica was the best host I've met. The communicaton with her was very easy, her response time is super quick. The instructions to go in to home is very clear and she is supporting the instructions with videos. Her place is exactly as it seems on the photos and maybe even more beautiful. The view from the balcony and the terrace is mesmerizing. Neighbourhood was very calm and quiet but it might be because it was off season when I stayed there. Although the neighbourhood is calm, the markets and closest shopping centers are only within 15 minutes driving distance. House is also very close to the Villa Balbianello. The house was very clean, Monica left everything we need in the fridge and kitchen. Lastly she helped us a lot during our stay with her recommendations for restaurants, shops, facilities around the region.

Carmen's home was amazing. The house is clean, tidy and we found everything we needed. The house is located in a corner and immediately in front of the lake and it was very pleasant to take a walk in the morning on the lake in complete tranquility. The room where there is a sauna and jacuzzi gave us the feeling of being on another zen planet and we enjoyed it so much! Super recommended!

Beautiful apartment directly on the lake. The terrace on the first floor was amazing. We loved it. Our host was so friendly and welcoming, gave us great tips and advice! Would go back anytime !

Fantastic stay. Apartment is perfectly situated for everything in Varenna. Had an issue with hot water on one day but was resolved swiftly. Will stay again when in Varenna!

Very convenient place, close to the train station and the ferry station. One of the bathroom was quite small, but the other bathroom was good. Definitely would recommend for the location! Easy check in process.

This was a lovely experience for myself and my partner. Our host Giulia was incredibly flexible with allowing us to eat and become familiar with the town before check-in. The place itself is built on an old medieval castle which was quite interesting & unique. It was charming and had everything we needed and some nice touches like a selection of teas & snacks. The breathtaking views had us in awe every day. The beach directly beside us was peaceful and not crowded. The local restaurants each had their own authentic (delicious!) tastes, and the surrounding towns were easy to get to. This ultimately made our stay extremely peaceful yet exciting. We thought it was handy that we could take a quick train ride to Varenna and Bellano so we did not have to adhere to the more limited ferry schedule - were able to catch a breathtaking sunset this way! Overall, we could not recommend this experience more and was the highlight of our 2-week Italy trip.

Our stay at Tatiana’s place was wonderful. There is plenty of space and and amazing view. It feels very homey and is walkable to the restaurants and shops in town.

We found the property to be well situated and lovely. Sara was a very responsive host and we loved our stay on the lake.

This is not an easy place to review. Uniqueness, should be the word to describe it. Staying true to history, this amazing villa has been left in the way to let you live and experience older days. You should expect and be prepared to savour this, rather than zeroing on the condition of the furniture, the kitchen sink...... I fell in love with the garden, the trees, large patio....., my sister could not stop admiring the villa itself. The location is to dye for. The host was responsive. The only cautionary point that I should make is that, I would think the host should make it clear that the final, necessary walk, to reach the villa is pretty steep and not suitable for many.

The house was incredibly clean, everything brand new, and every detail was carefully thought out. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of space and comfort for all of us. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views, it offered the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature. Sofia was extremely kind, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay, always available for anything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and useful recommendations provided. Without a doubt, we would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

Wonderfull view!! Amazing sunrises and sunsets if weather is good. One can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while sitting at the balcony with view of the lake Como. Gloria helped to navigate and organozed a baby bed for our little daugther :) We will try to come soon again!

Very comfortable stay. Clean apartment, nice outdoor area, great view from the bedroom. Able to walk down to the lake (of course as typical for the area with some step work on the way back up), and some good food spots nearby. Annalisa also helped us with finding the best way to enter a hike to a Refugio. Thank you!

The apartment was a wonderful place to stay on Lake Como and Bellano is lovely and quiet. The location is fantastic, so close to the train station (direct train to Milano) and the ferries to other towns on the lake. The Bellano Orrido waterfall is amazing and the town is lovely, with the waterfront walk, a historical centre and plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. The apartment has a view of the mountains and is so close to the water. Antonella and Donatella were so responsive and helpful - and the apartment was beautiful, with plenty of room. We loved it!!

Andrea was the best host! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt we had made a lifelong friend. He was generous with his time in helping us get around and helping us on tips for the area. The home - just stunning! The location was beautiful, the home was spotless and perfectly appointed. We enjoyed snacks left by Andrea and made meals in the kitchen looking out over the lake. The hot tub was special, and we loved every moment with our children! It was truly the perfect ending to our Italian vacation- and we hope to visit again.

the stay was very good. the place was excellent. Carla was very polite and helpfull, we had a great welcome. The house is next to a road so you can hear some cars driving. Other than that the stay was excellent.

We would absolutely recommend this residence if you are staying in Bellagio! It was perfect! It was about a 25 minute walk to Borgo (centre of Bellagio) and a 5 minute drive. The walk itself is beautiful as it’s mainly locals staying in this area so it’s really quiet and peaceful. Lucia and Emanuele were extremely helpful and were more than happy to answer questions any questions we had! They even found a supermarket for us that was open on the way from the airport which was super helpful at 2 in the morning! The house itself is stunning and was filled with everything you need for a relaxing stay! There is a supermarket 5 minute walk away too. Car parking is right outside which is sometimes taken by other cars, however this wasn’t an issue as there are other streets nearby to park on.

Chiara was a wonderful host - she was extremely communicative and friendly, and was flexible with our request for early check in. We were visiting for our friends elopement and Casa Curie was perfectly located nearby their wedding venue. Convenient cafe and grocery store nearby. Was a great stay :) would recommend!

A lovely house with absolutely stunning view, even more beautiful than on the pictures. The village of Rezzonico is picturesque and quiet, with an old Roman street passing through. We enjoyed the view from the terrace and our walks through the village very much! Andrea is very friendly and helpful.
