Lake Columbia fishing vacation rentals

The place was perfect for family of 8. Enjoyed ping pong, pontoon boat, yard and board games. Nice size dining table and family room. We will be back again. Jeff

We enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Cottage. Everything was perfect and the view of the lake is beautiful. We hope to stay next year for our granddaughter’s birthday.

We held our Annual EMU friend reunion here so we would have a place to hang out after touring, going to a game, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Chris is a gracious host with a beautiful lake home. Unfortunately, 3 members of our group had medical issues which interfered with their being able to stay, which affected our cost, but we all said it was still worth dividing their portions up and paying the extra. The home is well appointed and stocked with wonderful kitchen amenities. We cooked 3 meals and had a great time in that kitchen. The sleeping spaces were very comfortable and the entire house was nice and clean. Thank you for all you do to make this Airbnb a home away from home!

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is inviting and tastefully decorated. The beds were really comfortable too! Watching the sunset on the lake was breathtaking. We will definitely return to enjoy in the summer.

Ryan’s place was clean, easy to find, and a wonderful, relaxing place. The hosts were friendly and gave suggestions for restaurants. We had a wonderful weekend getaway!

Wow! What a view! We traveled to MI for my son’s wedding and needed a place to host us all. The property was beautiful. Charles was super responsive and helped with numerous questions in getting us settled. We had a fantastic stay! We had a mishap and forgot an item and Charles contacted me immediately. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The access was as described, and the setting was peaceful and wooded while being accessible to Kroger and other helpful stores a five-minute drive away. The hosts were especially accommodating, proactive, and responsive when we had questions. It was a perfect location for us and an excellent size for two people. Loved the little ramp going down to a picturesque lake. Two deer gave us a peaceful farewell on our last day. :)

Beautiful and peaceful location! The view, the space, the sleeping capacity and flexibility and the offered amenities within the price point cannot be matched. Would definitely rebook and recommend. Not only just one well stocked kitchen, but two could not be beat! Loved the large dining table in which became the focal point!

We had a nice little family CHRISTMAS vacation. Very cozy and comfortable and we loved the bathrooms and the super soft beds.

We had a great stay at Whitmore Lake! The house was very cozy, and the bed extremely comfortable. It was amazing to have a campfire by the river and enjoy the fall weather.

Mamie’s place worked out very well for our extended family to celebrate the Christmas Season! Her place made us feel right at home!

Mark, was attentive in every way! His house was beautiful, well appointed, and decorated in a cozy fall theme. The gardens and yard art were lovely. The lake was so peaceful to sit by. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. It was a great place to relax.

Fantastic views, location, and cleanliness throughout the space. We had a great time. I visited here to get some work done, so I should have checked ahead of time that the wifi was strong, it was not. My only other comment is that the listing was categorized as "whole house", but the house is split into 3 apartments allowing multiple tenants to be in the house at a time. Otherwise, everything was perfect and if you're looking for somewhere to get away and enjoy beautiful views in a lovely home, highly recommend!

We chose this cabin as our Christmas destination spot this year. Easily accommodated 5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 12, all of which were entertained by all the cabin has to offer. We’ve stayed in lots of cabins and this was our favorite! It was so gorgeous, private and peaceful. Annette was so responsive and hosted us wonderfully making sure a tree was up and there were Christmas decorations out and about to make it extra festive. Can’t say enough great things about our stay.

We couldn’t have asked for a better week at this house! The house was perfect, right on the lake and easy to find. It was clean and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was a huge hit with the kids, and the view of the lake from inside the home was so peaceful. We definitely recommend this house when visiting Michigan. It was a short drive to Ann Arbor and Brooklyn was a nice town to explore as well. We would definitely stay again!
