Absolutely stunning place. You don’t even need the AC. Better to sleep with windows open and hear the jungle. Saw spider monkeys playing in the trees and the birds are abundant. Beautiful place.

This is the perfect place to stay for families with kids. The pool and hot tub are great, the community is gated, peaceful and private. The house has everything you need to feel comfortable including loads of towels and blankets, ac in each bedroom and even an ice machine. Nearby chachagua is only a few minutes away with a bakery, butcher and produce shop all within sight of each other. The people here are so friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend.

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Monteverde! The property boasts breathtaking mountain views that stretch endlessly, and the sunsets were absolutely magical — a perfect blend of colors painting the sky. The space itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it the ideal retreat after a day of exploring. Erick was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, offering great local tips and quick responses to any questions. Waking up to the serene sounds of nature and sipping coffee on the balcony with that stunning backdrop was an unforgettable experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in Monteverde.

We loved the house - very cozy, great views, had all the amenities we needed for cooking, relaxing, laundry, etc. The host was great too. They responded to our requests within minutes and offered detailed explanations for all the facilities as well as restaurant recommendations.

Amazing stay at the stage of a large estate. Joselyn was very friendly and communicative, even though we didn’t know Spanish. The estate has all kinds of trees and birds and she gave us a detailed tour. Would 100% come back.

Mauricio’s place was excellent. Just as described, it is a private place that is very close to town. Would stay here again!

Gloriana’s place was a perfect place for my wife and I to stay while visiting the Monteverde area. It was nestled in the trees while still being walking distance to restaurants in Santa Elena. We loved having nature trails adjacent to the house to enjoy. The house was comfortable and well equipped.

Our stay at Silvios was amazing!! The view was absolutely spectacular. Rain, shine it doesn't matter you cannot beat that view! Silvio greeted us with fresh local banana bread which was delicious and the cabin was spotless. Note that you are in the hills in a rainforest. We were not prepared for how cold and wet it was. This is not a complaint at all, we just were travelling with a 7 month old and weren't as prepared as we should have been. You definitely need 4x4 to access this cabin and expect to be bumped around but I promise it's worth it! Would absolutely recommend if you want to stay someplace different and off the beaten path!

Beautiful cabins in a natural and peaceful environment. Great hosts, that are kind, thoughtful and willing to help with anything. Im so happy I stayed at this heaven on earth. Everything was so clean and fresh when I arrived. Comfortable beds and pleasant space. Thank you guys for a lovely stay!

Great location. WiFi suitable for working remotely. No strong smells or scents. Comfortable beds, fairly quiet. Safe neighborhood. Would have stayed an extra night if it had been available and will stay here again in the future.

This cabina in the jungle was just perfect for our stay. Silvia was so friendly and accommodating, and the cabina had a very special , peaceful atmosphere in the jungle. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we did a lot of cooking with local foods. The trail was a great experience, and the chance to observe birds in the garden was so memorable and spectacular. We enjoyed the location about 15 minutes from the busyness of La Fortuna.The hammock and outdoor chairs were a very nice bonus. Also our dog was welcomed and there were nice places to walk him. We would definitely stay here again. The host and her father went well beyond to accommodate our needs in every way.

My partner and I stayed here for a night, it was just out of the city that you can enjoy the rain forest and peace, go for a nice walk and even do some sloth watching!(yes we did see one!) We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a clean home and a very comfortable vibe overall. Sylvia was communicative throughout our entire stay and recommended lots to do and see in the area. We loved our stay here. Very unique experience.

We had a great time exploring the area from Irene’s place. The house was large enough for our group with plenty of space to explore. Pool was very clean and we enjoyed bird watching in the morning. Very close to groceries and other quick bites.

The place is just like the photos and plenty of space. Is a little outside the centre but a short drive and very easy to find for tours operator to come pick you up. Waking up surrounded by nature is fantastic and the whole experience was great. Thanks!

The place is wonderful, with an amazing view. The very beautiful cabin, clean, lovingly decorated. An incredible place to relax. They will awaken a great amount and variety of birds. A place that should definitely be on your agenda of beautiful places to know.

We had a perfect two nights here with our family of 6! Was comfortable, safe and quiet. Surrounded by beautiful plants and animals. Nice big yard where we could play with their cute dog Draco! Location was nice because it was a short drive into town and all the parks. They had a delicious breakfast served to your cabin for a good price. Reina and Leo were wonderful. Thank you

EL SOL is extraordinarily beautiful! It's hard to describe how special it is- the gorgeous natural surroundings, the wonderful food, the unique and refreshing pool and the beautiful mountains surrounding the area. I could have stayed a long time and regret that our stay was so short. Thank you Susanne and Javier for such a wonderful time and the attention and love you have put into EL SOL! We will be back!

Carlos was an excellent host, he attended us with wonder and the place is extremely beautiful to go clear a little and make contact with nature

Very well we had a very good time despite a problem with the hot tub due to a power outage due to rain and wind despite this our host was very responsive. We'll be happy to go back

The cabin is very nice with very interesting designs and finishes. It is two-story and has an extraordinary view. We loved opening the gate and listening to the birds and sounds of the countryside. There are not very good restaurants nearby, so it's best to consider it before you arrive or you can cook in the cabin. If you want to spend a few days in the countryside surrounded by nature, this stay is an excellent option.

Gerardo's Airbnb is great! It had beautiful views, very private, and apart is renovated beautiful. The best bathtubs I've ever used. I definitely recommend Gerardo's Airbnb!
