Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lafourche Parish

We would highly recommend this home for a stay. Our kids loved the pool - it was super warm and they had tons of fun jumping in and out. The beds were WONDERFUL - some of the best I've ever had at an AirBnB - we loved that there were 3 kings and then a set of twins. Two bathrooms made life much easier for the 6 of us. My family of four and my parents stayed together, and we were able to give my parents the bathroom with the ensuite to allow them more privacy, which was wonderful. The location was awesome. So much to do right there within easy walking distance - especially Hansen's Snow Blitz snowballs - we had many!

This place was exactly as advertised and perfect for 4 days in NOLA with our family representing 3 generations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sophie's home as it comfortably accommodated our group of 11. The location is roughly 15-20 minutes away from all of the major hot spots in NOLA but had the benefit of being in a private/quiet suburban neighborhood. The seafood spot around the corner from the listing was delicious and had great deals for our large group. Sophie was extremely communicative ahead of our trip and helped answer a number of questions for me to make sure we were prepared. Easy check-in/check-out process and overall a great experience. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay for a few nights. A Lot of space, big living room/kitchen area, & back patio. We had a couple uncontrollable issues come up during the visit, but Timothy was very responsive and sent someone out in 24 hours to check into them which we were thankful for.

Lovely home away from the craziness, but still in the middle of some lovely retail, restaurants and an easy ride to just about anywhere you want to go in the city. The record collection was also top tier. My kid and I had a great time with that.

Have stayed in a variety of New Orleans Airbnb properties over the years and unlike most of the places we stayed before - in this place everything works and is modern - doors close, the floors don't tilt this way and that, there are no cracks in the floors to let drafts in, the bath is state of the art, there is always a parking spot right out front and the street is not the typical patchwork of potholes. Audubon Park - a primo place for walk or a jog is 2 blocks away as are great restaurants that you can reward yourself at after you do your exercises.

Great stay, we booked last minute and was promptly accommodated. Very recommended!

Robert’s place was gorgeous and clean and located right off Magazine Street in a beautiful part of the city. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, stores and more. Robert was super responsive and helpful when we needed an early check in. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Nola!

What an AMAZING host!!!! I cannot say enough about Tyra. She is by far the BEST host I have had on Airbnb. She is thoughtful, responsive and she really, really cares about her guests. She went out of her way to make sure myself and my daughter were comfortable at her apartment. She also gave great recommendations!!!! Plus she let us check in early with no problem!!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. I am pretty picky with where I stay. I like it to be quiet and well located. Her apartment is just that. Also the apartment is in a safe location, plus it is right on the bus line (across the street) and close to the streetcar line into downtown New Orleans!! The apartment is well equipped with whatever you could possibly need. We had such a pleasant stay there. Thank you sooooooooo much, Tyra, for EVERYTHING!!!!

This is a great place to stay. It is one (1) block off of magazine and easy to walk to. The neighborhood can be a little noisy with street traffic during the day but that didn't take away from this awesome rental with a great interior and a great new orleans interior/vibe. The Neighborhood is very quiet at night. The information booklet provided is loaded with information and places to go and try was wonderful. Even after making over dozen trips it had some good tidbits of information. I would come back and stay here!

This was a beautiful home in a great location! Thiamanti was very responsive and gave great recommendations for things to do and places to eat around the city. This home is definitely on the list of places to stay again!

A gem for us! We walked all over the city and the trolley/street car and bus lines made it happen. The porch swing, local school, close eating options and great hosts made us feel right at home. A quaint, period building added to the charm with hosts who care very much for guests!

The host was perfectly responsive and kind. I think this place has everything you might need. Comfortable bed. Creative use of space in this former shotgun provides so much room. Treacherous stairs for carrying large suitcases so we kept them on main floor. Location is perfection. Stay here!

Great place to stay in New Orleans if you are looking to take a break from the French Quarter. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in walkable distance that have a chill vibe or amped up feel. If you’re looking to head to the Quarter, it’s only a short uber ride away! Host was very responsive and gave recommendations for nearby locations. The home itself was very comfortable and came with all the amenities. The bed was also nice and comfy. 10/10, would recommend!
