Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lafayette Parish

Loved staying here! Had everything we needed for our trip to visit family. The fenced in yard for my dog was amazing. David was very accommodating as I requested an early check in. We will 100% be back when our furry friend tags along.

Gerry’s place was wonderful. Close to where I needed to be and anything I needed. Also reminded me of home. Picked up a few ideas for new authors to read too.

Not only is the house perfect, April and Aaron were fantastic hosts! They thought of everything — from the specified monogramed towelettes for makeup removal to the bedside earplugs (which we didn’t even need to use). They answered my questions within minutes (literally!) and couldn’t have decorated a more welcoming home than this one! The location was fantastic — I’ve stayed in Lafayette before and I’ve never spent less on gas than this visit because we were so central to everything we wanted to be close to. The clawfoot tub was a dream and had me taking 2 baths a day 😆 I have zero complaints about our stay - 10 out of 5 stars! I would love to come back again the next time I’m in town. Thank yall so much!

Kristin’s house is just like the pictures. Even though the house has had some updating, that which wasn’t yet updated was just fine. There was an outside grill available to use as well as outdoor seating which was very helpful. There was an amazing game room with a REAL pinball machine that is perfect for teenagers and kids who aren’t too little. The kitchen was fully stocked with any kind of dishes, cooking utensils, and appliances you could need. The directions are clear and easy for arrival, and she was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook next time we are in town visiting family.

Great space for our family trip. We were in Lafayette to visit family and the house was perfectly size for our family to stay (4 adults, 5 kids, 1 baby). Everyone had plenty of space and that was in the main house. Overall it was a great value and perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip.

My family and I came to Lafayette for my retirement ceremony from the Louisiana National Guard after 39 years. Lisa was an awesome host and helped make my day special.

This place was great! It was nestled in the heart of downtown Lafayette. Reve coffee became my morning go-to for my caffeine pick me up! Great little downtown with shops and restaurants lining the streets. Greats bars! Central Pizza/Bar had great pizza, wings and really well made cocktails! The home itself sits at the very end of the complex so you felt a great amount of privacy. The unit was gorgeous. The sectional sofa was by far one of the most comfortable and huge! I also discovered that it converts into a bed if you pull out the bottom! The kitchen was well appointed and everything was modern and CLEAN. Perfect sized place for a couple or 4 friends. We didn't cook during our visit but everything was well appointed if we had wanted to. The unit was stylish comfortable and surprisingly quiet for its location. The host was amazing. We had a delayed departure at the airport and they allowed us to check out late, which is almost unheard of nowadays. Southern hospitality still exists!

Perfect spot for one or two people. Accurately described in the listing and all the amenities needed for a few nights’ stay. Would most certainly recommend.

Sandra was a wonderful host and the place was great — the photos do not accurately portray how large the room is, there’s more room than there looks. Mattress and sheets were incredibly clean. Appreciated the decor too. WiFi was perfect, it’s not gigabit speeds, but I was able to stream 1080p content while tunneling back to my home network without issue. There is road noise, it is not a quiet suburb far away from everything. It’s nowhere near unbearable but you will hear it. The Airbnb does provide a white noise machine which is very thoughtful, but wasn’t personally necessary. This is a trade off that happens when you’re closer to the city. For what boils down to the same rough price as a hotel, this place easily clears. I felt like I received more in return than what I spent in dollars. Would recommend.

Ms Annette and Mr Gerard were outstanding hosts. Their barndominium was clean and comfortable. Our family loved the farm, horses, chickens, pups and cats. We joined AirBnB specifically for experiences like this. be sure to ask Gerard about his experience as a jockey and as a Golden gloves boxing champion. they treated our 11-year-old like an extension of their own family and we couldn't have been happier with our time there.

Great location, close to restuarants. Host is very responsive and easy to work with. Airbnb has a nice comfry bed and huge bathroom. We messed up our booking initially and the host was very accommodating and checked up on us while we were there. Its a very quite area. It is located right behind thier home, just a note for easy location.

Perfect place to stay. Tucked away but convenient location to get around. Will definitely stay here again. Layout of condo is great.

My brother stayed at Dustin’s Place and booked it for me & some of my classmates. We’re currently in nursing school and wanted a girls weekend away from Natchitoches. It was perfect and so relaxing!!! We felt so much safer as a group of young girls staying here compared to a hotel!! Beautiful area and super classy!!! My favorite place to stay in Lafayette.

I had a perfect stay and Brandon’s place. Walkable to town, easily accessible, and comfortable. Brandon was proactive in his communications and always accommodating. Highly recommended!

Judd is a wonderful host. He is helpful and answers promptly. The neighborhood is great . There is a nearby school with drop off and pick up of children in the area just be mindful of these times 7:30 am to 8:30 am and 2:30 to 3:30 pm during the school year. It is not bad it is just something to consider if you have a time contstraint. I have stayed at Judd's multiple times. Always a pleasure to stay and speak to him.

Second time staying here and will most likely stay here every time that I visit Lafayette. The condo is clean and well stocked and it’s very quiet. Access in and out of the unit was simple and the parking spot was close by. I noticed simple things in my way out (sound machines and QI charging plates) that I didn’t pay much attention to during my stay. Simple gestures but can be very helpful. The fully stocked coffee bar was amazing as well. Thanks Emily!

My wife and I go to Lafayette at least once per year for family, friends, dancing and eating. Gerald's property is our go to spot when in Lafayette. Gerald communicates well and is always available for questions and or problems. the location is close to Lafayette General Hospital, downtown Lafayette, the Lafayette airport and many good restaurants. the location is in a vey safe area.
