Lake house vacation rentals in Lac-Mégantic

We had a great stay. Very nice and clean. We had all we needed for our stay. We would have liked to have an earlier check-in but we found something to do in the meantime. When we asked questions, we received responses very quickly. Our stay was in the winter time, we couldn’t find cable TV. They did have Netflix. We had would to make a fire. Overall, it was a great stay for us for what we needed.

Jodi’s cabin was the perfect spot for me and a few friends to snowboard a few of the mountains in the area. The location is perfect and the cabin itself is even better than the pictures! We would highly suggest Jodi’s cabin for anyone looking to visit the area!

Great accommodation, with a very large garden to have fun and enjoy the outdoors (including in winter thanks to snowshoes and shovels made available). We loved our stay and highly recommend the cottage! Thank you so much!

This cozy cabin is such a lovely place to stay and Colombe is an amazing host! The scenery is unbeatable and our experience was idyllic. Cant wait to stay again!

The house interior was pristine. Space was perfect for our family ski trip, and was far nicer than many of the spots we have stayed at on mountain. The drive to Sugarloaf was really simple, even during a snowstorm. It is on a main road that leads right to access road, and roads are kept clear. About a 10-15 min ride to the mountain parking lots. Samantha and everyone at Taylor Property Management were extremely responsive and timely. They had the driveway constantly plowed and clean, we were able to check in a few hours early after a long ride which was awesome. The condo is walking distance to a general store and a few restaurants. Place was spacious and very modern. Plenty of space to spread out after a day of skiing. We had quite a wind storm one night and power went out briefly. Meanwhile friends staying on mountain lost power for hours! We had a slight heat issue that was quickly resolved in a timely manner at 5AM. Hats off to the responsiveness of this property team!

We loved our weekend. We had to slow down our stay by one day because of the temperature and the communication was super easy and very easy to adapt to the last minute changes.

We stayed 2 nights at the "Chalet au bord du lac Aylmer" in January 2025. We were 8 adults (and 1 dog) and were well delighted with the size of the chalet and the open plan common area on the ground floor leads to beautiful gatherings with its beautiful island, its beautiful large kitchen table and the walk-in-style pantry. 👌👌👌 Well-decorated cottage, clean, modern design. Everyone has their own account. Well located, in nature, lake accessible by following a cute little path, intimate terrain. Everything for a pleasant and relaxing stay!

Enjoyed our stay right in town with access to everything! Loved the simplicity of the home, the green plants and especially the bathroom - large tub and wide shower head! We enjoyed the snowy weather too. Gorgeous surroundings!

i loved my stay at the cottage. It was really intimate, warm, quiet and it's so beautiful outside. The cottage is really well equipped and there was nothing missing. We enjoyed the hot tub under the little shelter. Caroline responds quickly to the request and take the time to check in! I recommend it:)

Elise’s chalet was perfect! Extremely clean and had everything you would need. It also had an absolutely stunning view of the lake. I had a couple of questions for Elise during our stay and she was very responsive. We can’t wait to go back :)

We had a lovely stay at the chalet. The kitchen is very well equipped. We plan to return in the summer to enjoy the site near the river.

This Cabin is charming, tidy and we'll outfitted with pretty much everything you need for a weekend away. It was immaculately clean and organized! What are great little getaway, Rangeley is so awesome in the Winter! Actually it's awesome year round, we are up visiting friends and neighbors from VT and the coast. I can certainly understand the allure this place has year round. the Cabin is so close to town yet in a very private neighborhood. The pond is beautiful and so close to the trails. Can't wait to come back!

Our group of 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 3 and up) had a great time! The place is peaceful and private. We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the backyard, and being able to use the grill for most of our meals. The house is VERY well stocked. The home is outdated and there's no AC (which is made clear in the photos/description). The basement is unfinished and wood is being stored inside, so it does smell musty and has a lot of spiderwebs. My kids asked both to extend our stay and if we can book it again so it didn't bother them. We would highly recommend the place

OMG!!! I frequently rent houses on Airbnb for short and long term holidays all over the world, but this cottage is in the best value - quality price I've rented. The owner was accommodating, generous, and understanding. In fact, I hesitate to write you all this so much I want to keep this place just to myself😁. A small detail: for winter, provide good winter tires or an all-wheel drive vehicle because if it snows, the small sloping streets to access it could be difficult to circulate.

We were able to enjoy the calm and nature as we wanted. No neighbors, beautiful environment, impeccable and modern chalet, very clean, beautiful evenings with a propane stove, a spa, heated floors, a place to make an outdoor fire and a BBQ., everything was at our disposal to have a nice time and feel at home. Nature was beautiful and we were able to enjoy it both outside and inside the chalet since it is fully glazed. If you are looking for a peaceful place away from civilization, don't hesitate and book, this is the place to recharge! Our stay was very nice and we will definitely be back without hesitation! Perfect spot for snowmobiling or ATVs in the summer. Right on the trails and only a minute drive to the Buck Rub from here. Host, Russell was super helpful and flexible with check in/ check out. Super knowledgeable about the area and helpful with recommendations and directions throughout our stay

My family and I had a lovely week at the cottage. It was clean, friendly, and nice to stay there. We were well received and at Christmas, our children even received beautiful gifts from Santa 😍 I absolutely recommend it!!!
