Lake house vacation rentals in Lac-Mégantic

We went there, 2 adults and 2 children, in August. The location is superb, as in the photos. Lake Louise is really quiet and you can hear the water (and loons!) from the bedroom. For a family, there are several interesting activities in the area, and I really appreciated that they were mentioned in the listing. The house was clean and there was nothing missing. We had more than enough space for everyone. We did not use the basement, but there is an extra place to sleep (2 places). The owner was providing kayaks and a canoe, on which we spent a lot of time on the lake. We would go back without hesitation!

It was a great experience staying in this magical place. We love it since we arrived, in addition, we were greeted by Colombe with all her kindness, we felt at home. very happy with our stay, it's sure we will go back. We highly recommend it.

We had a great time at this large chalet, perfect for family reunions. The views of the lake are superb from both the balcony and the spa. It's also hard to motivate kids to take the car to take a trip so much they had fun in the garden or inside with ping pong, foosball or air-hockey! A good raclette on Saturday night to top off a cold fall day: it was ideal.

We loved our stay by the water in the beautiful residence of St-Aurélie. The landscape was magical and so peaceful. The house is superb, everything is meticulously thought out and carefully maintained.

We had a lovely stay at this property when in the area visiting family. It was clean and match the descriptions. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Nice little cottage hiden at end of a remote road by a lakefront. Comfortable, functional and cozy.

Kathleen’s place was the perfect base for a weekend in Sherbrooke. I was in town for a conference and it was ideal. We brought our dog and to have such a modern, clean and spacious space be dog-friendly is so great. The house is also a five-minute walk to a gorgeous park and waterfront. Loads of shops and restaurants within a couple mins walk and the town centre itself is also walkable or a couple mins driving. Really spacious house so would be great for a bigger group too. Kathleen was really understanding and accommodating with check-in/out and was always available for tips/help. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay right in town with access to everything! Loved the simplicity of the home, the green plants and especially the bathroom - large tub and wide shower head! We enjoyed the snowy weather too. Gorgeous surroundings!

Amazing views when you wake up. Beautiful, well-equipped, intimate, everything is there to spend a relaxing, cozy, comfortable time. We'll go back!

Charming house with beautiful vintage decor. Very clean and in a good location. We had everything at our disposal for a comfortable stay. We were 6 people and it was very pleasant. Ample of space. Beautiful little village. Autumn colors were beautiful.

Stunning locale deep in the Quebec wilderness but close to the US border. Was great for nearby NE skiing, comfortable and a luxurious feel to it. Excellent communication from the company and well priced. Would rebook.

Easy to find, beautiful environment and beautiful lake. The dock allowed us to moor our boat there. Shops are 5 minutes away and the square is very quiet. The house is warm and comfortable. Lots of amenities. Very clean too. We will keep beautiful memories and it's very likely that we will go back.

Very nice quiet cottage with lots of highlights: very large games room/lounge, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, large table to share meals and a great outdoor area to make fires. It was very clean and we did not lack anything. We'll be back without hesitation! Thank you for a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Michel's place. The view of the lake (and Canada!) is stunning! The house is immaculate, comfortable and roomy. We had everything we needed and would definitely go back! Thank you.

Our group of 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 3 and up) had a great time! The place is peaceful and private. We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the backyard, and being able to use the grill for most of our meals. The house is VERY well stocked. The home is outdated and there's no AC (which is made clear in the photos/description). The basement is unfinished and wood is being stored inside, so it does smell musty and has a lot of spiderwebs. My kids asked both to extend our stay and if we can book it again so it didn't bother them. We would highly recommend the place

What a gorgeous house! The kitchen was large and well equipped, bathroom roomy with a great walk-in shower and high sided tub, and the furniture was cozy and inviting. The woodstove and hot tub combined to make a warm and relaxing space for a wonderful getaway. The host was very proactive with communications and provided an amazingly clean and private space. Would go back in an instant.

Russel was very responsive and friendly and made himself available for any concerns, but we didn’t have any. His home was super clean and comfty! Close by our family so it worked very well for us. Great private area. We lost power and got a little worried as it was cold and his home was ready! Generator came right on and we had zero worries, that was comforting. Overall great experience for our family! We would absolutely use his home again👍👍
