We recently got married and had a mini-honeymoon at Catherine’s cottage and brought along our dog. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. We cooked simple meals and enjoyed the views of the river. We took long walks along the paths and in town. We enjoyed the campfire each night by the river and the cozy atmosphere of the whole property. It was a perfect getaway in an ideal location. Absolutely beautiful stay!! Stunning veiws from the tarrace which were best enjoyed from the hot tub, which was a lovely to have on those crisp fall evening. Very comfortable and well equiped place. It was an easy walk down into town, and the hill on the way up helped get the digestion going after a nice dinner in the village. It was very nice that the rental came with a parking spot as we were able to park the car all weekend and walk into the village. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to visit the area.

The Vista - Magnificent Waterfront & Hot Tub

This home was the highlight of my Thanksgiving and birthday weekend with friends. It was so beautiful that we extended our stay by an extra day just to enjoy it. The property was spacious, impeccably clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with quality furniture, appliances, and breathtaking views—truly flawless inside. The location was about 45 minutes from the activities we were looking to do (Nordik Spa/Ottawa) but we were looking for a more secluded experience. The jacuzzi was a perfect addition to our winter retreat, adding to the cozy atmosphere. To get to the home you have to drive on some very steep hills so be sure to have a reliable vehicle in snowy conditions. It would be seriously scary to get to without snow tires. The management company was extremely responsive & the home was easy to check in and out of. If you’re looking for a private, peaceful getaway where the home itself is the main attraction, this is an excellent choice. We'll definitely be renting again!

Our stay at Sheila's Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. Sheila was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making what was a very difficult time for our family much easier to navigate. We initially booked the property hoping to see a family member before his passing, and Sheila’s kindness and flexibility allowed us to extend our stay seamlessly when the funeral was scheduled two days past our original booking. The home itself was cozy, clean, and provided a comforting space for us to gather as a family. Sheila’s attentiveness and understanding truly went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for her

We enjoyed our stay. Amenities were excellent. There are more than enough beds (the place could probably host more than the actually number of guests it's limited to if it needed). Although we found some broken glass in the backyard (probably from a prior guest), we don't hold it against it as the property is quite large and I imagine the previous guests didn't sufficiently inform the host in order to find and remove. We will surely be considering this place again for future cottage stays.
