Vacation rentals with a fireplace in La Thuile

We had a great stay at Alastair’s chalet in Chamonix. Norbert was a very responsive host and was able to be flexible on check in time when part of our group arrived early. Great location close to town and great amenities. I would recommend to anyone going to Chamonix!

I’ve just checked out after 4 days with my colleagues for a year-end gathering, and we were absolutely amazed by the experience. The house is stunning—extremely beautiful, cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It’s well-equipped, providing comfort to everyone. We loved the barbecue area, and the living room was perfect for us to relax and play board games by the fireplace. The view in the morning is indescribable—truly breathtaking. It’s clear that a lot of care and love went into preparing the house for guests, which is why we made sure to return it with the same attention and care. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to create such wonderful memories there. Thank you, Marteen. Your home is an absolute charm.

This property was exactly what we needed, where we wanted it. Enough room for our family of 5 and everything we needed during our skiing holiday. Welcoming cottage, assured mountain spirit with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc there was nothing missing. We were welcomed with a beautiful Christmas tree, accompanied by small gifts. The cottage was well heated, clean, impeccable bedding, same bathroom, open kitchen, functional , well-equipped. I would recommend this cottage located in a charming little village. We had a great time staying at the place and would definitely stay here again anytime. :-) Communication with the landlords was great. Marie responded in a timely manner and is very friendly. She was very helpful in all matters and gave us helpful tips for excursions and restaurant recommendations. Wifi worked well. The accommodation has everything you need and is described in the listing. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are clean and there is a small hair dryer in both bathrooms. The accommodation is great all around and the surrounding area is also very nice with the wooden look. We were there in winter. There is a free ski bus within walking distance with some effort. If you go in winter, you may want to bring a sled. There were sun loungers at the property to sunbathe outside. Had a great time! Many thanks to Marie and Philippe!

Great cottage to have a great time with four, very pleasant to live in and relaxing, the host is always responsive to the slightest request, extremely clean and matches exactly the description as well as the photos. We recommend it.

We adored this special place. The apartment was well situated, comfortable, and thoughtfully outfitted. Nothing was forgotten, every detail considered. The home was an excellent base for exploring the area, but we also enjoyed relaxing in the apartment and soaking in the view. Karin and Tijmen helped with plans, reservations, skiing advice - and shared thoughtful treats for the whole family. This is a breathtaking region and the home was a perfect place for our family. We hope to return and thank Karin and Tijmen for ensuring a relaxing week in Italy’s beautiful mountains.

Beautiful, large and clean chalet that equipped with everything imaginable. Located within walking distance of the elevator and shops and a great view over the mountains. The host is very attentive, warm and makes sure you don't miss anything. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay, perfect t location and very clean

Very nice place to stay in Megeve. A few meters from a bus stop that leaves you walking from the ski slope. It has many amenities: proximity ski slopes, sauna, indoor pool, gym, ski guard, covered parking,… Natasha responds very quickly and has been helpful and friendly. We recommend staying in this beautiful apartment. We will be back.

The apartment is vey comfy and spacious. Rooms are cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. The only downsides were the fact that the TV was not properly working (at least we couldn't turn it on). As a heads-up the outside balcony can be super slippery with the snow, but Michele was super responsive and helpful anytime we needed.

Edo was an excellent communicator. He was incredibly friendly and he went out of his way to answer questions that we had regarding various issues unrelated to the apartment in an incredibly timely fashion. It was obvious that it was very important to him that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at his cozy apartment. The apartment was very charming and the location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the city center. I would highly recommend Edo's apartment, especially during ski season. We look forward to staying at his place again in the near future because we enjoyed our stay at his apartment so much. Thank you, Edo!

Great place and it was easy to ski La Flégère. It had nice restaurants and shops nearby. I would recommend!

The apartment was perfect for 5 of us. Really well kitted out, great layout, comfortable beds and good shower. We loved being walking distance from the lift, pub, shop - which meant we could come and go as we pleased and the kids could walk back for to the lift, shop. The apartment was well kitted out with equipment, especially in the kitchen and had a great layout - in a U shape with the kitchen/dinning area on one side and the living area on the other. It was modern in feel and everything worked well.

The place is very nice, exactly as described and shown in the photo. The landscape and view are beautiful. Julian was super helpful, welcoming and always provided super clear and punctual directions

We had a wonderful stay at this house nestled in the beautiful French Alps. The host was extremely helpful and made everything easy, from the check-in process to providing assistance during our stay. The house is equipped with everything needed for those who love cooking, including grilling utensils that we thoroughly enjoyed using. The wide range of pool accessories was a very nice touch, allowing us to relax and have fun outdoors. The garden is spacious and well-maintained, perfect for enjoying the alpine scenery in complete tranquility. It was a relaxing and refreshing stay, and we would gladly return in the future. Thanks again for the hospitality!

The place is an authentic Aosta house (typical stone roof slates, perching on the slope, exceptional views, mountainous road), bear that in mind if you prefer only modern faceless dwellings. Francesca is very friendly, helpful, caring and proactive host one could only wish for.

Spacious and comfortable apartment, with all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. It matches the description and photos. Very good contact with the owner. We highly recommend it.

Villa Marthod is superb! First, I would like to appreciate Nelly and Erika for their special effort to be accommodating- instructed us clearly how to get there since we were coming from Barcelona by car, gave us photos of ski resorts views ,and even adjusted for us for our late arrival time. Thank you! the house? It's perfect! It is cozy, clean, tidy, and well decorated! It has everything you need. We had a beautiful view from the balconies and pool area. We are 16 people - including kids- and it fits us all very well! The kitchen is equipped, it has a hot tub or jacuzzi - though we were not able to use it because we did not have time. Our kids enjoyed the playroom, futbolin,billiards and pingpong so much! The location of the house is just 25 minutes away from Crest Voland Cohennoz Ski Resort. Overall, our experience with Villa Marthod was splendid. Thank you so much for the wonderful and enjoyable stay. We would love to come back! Wishing you all the best and more guests to come!🙂

This is the second time I have stayed here, and we came back precisely because it is so good. It was a perfect base to go hiking in the mountains and in the different valleys, and great for the local amenities in Aosta. The house is very comfortable and spacious and the view is incredible.
