Vacation rentals with a fireplace in La Plagne-Tarentaise

We had a great weekend at Sarah's, the communication was smooth, the cottage is spacious, charming and tastefully renovated. The location is peaceful. If we come back to the Hurters we would stay there again without hesitation.

Visited with friends for cycling, was perfect location for the nearby famous climbs, house well equipped to cater for cyclists with space for bikes, tools are provided etc. Loads of space. Quite quirky collection of stuff in the house. Communication with Emma was really easy and quick, thank you Emma!

I am lucky to travel a lot and, I dare say that this cabin is one of the most special accommodations I have been to. The chalet is much nicer than in photos, in a beautiful and quiet environment, ideal to relax. The large windows and its fireplace is a plus, we enjoyed a lot of fire while we saw snow... Also highlighting the cleanliness, fabulous. Another thing I appreciate when I travel, they are the local recommendations. and Marie was very cooperative and gave me many options to enjoy the area. Communication with them has been very fluid and always ready to solve my doubts. I would definitely come back without a thought. I missed crying when going out the door.... Wishing to repeat. Thank you for a great stay! The accommodation is very well placed for hiking trails, the mountain view is beautiful. The hot tub on the front terrace is clearly a plus. Inside, the cottage is very well equipped, the bedding is comfortable. All instructions given by Iain are clear and helpful. The small downside would be the garden/terrace part in the back which is not super well maintained and deserves a little refreshment. The village is quiet in the off-season, in the heights and there are all the amenities about 15 minutes by car, it allowed us to disconnect well. In any case, I recommend it 100% and if we come back to the area we will not hesitate to book again!

A completely perfect stay, we would not hesitate to recommend! Fabrice always responded within minutes to any messages, and check in and out could not be clearer or more straightforward. The chalet itself is great. Exceptionally well equipped in the kitchen. Layout was good and enough space for all of us (6). You can walk up the road to the piste (roughly 7 min) or down to a lift (5 min) so easy access for skiing. There is a supermarket, hire shop, bar and restaurants immediately across the street. We really don't have anything negative to add. Great host, great chalet and we hope to return.

We had a great time in our stay. The apartment is nice, well renovated and well thought out. Great location, everything is on foot (close to the bus station also if you come by bus). The apartment has all the amenities to have a good stay! Check-in instructions are clear and seamless communication. In short, it was perfect!

The unit was extremely clean! The location was perfect and beautiful surroundings. There is a local market within 10 minutes of walking distance and there is plenty of wonderful restaurants also within walking distance. Chamonix is 15-20 minutes away by local bus & bus stop just right across the street. This was my first trip outside of the USA and I felt so comfortable, safe and right at home.

What a wonderful week we had in Val Thorens and this was helped by the perfectly located and beautiful apartment Sandrine and Philippe own. The apartment was cosy and adequately equipped for a family of four. Being able to sit & eat breakfast looking out over the slopes and watching the early morning activities. Having the heated boot room easily accessible from the slopes we could walk everywhere. It was our 3rd time in Val Thorens and We loved it even more and we will certainly be back and booking to say in your lovely apartment. Thank you both xx

Nice vacation, in a comfortable accommodation, spacious to be able to stay in two adults, two boys and two girls. Efficient, clean double amenities with towels provided for each individual guest in sealed packaging. Availability of nearby car park, courtyard useful as secondary access and for hanging clothes to dry. We really appreciated Gianpaolo's availability and kindness.

Edo was an excellent communicator. He was incredibly friendly and he went out of his way to answer questions that we had regarding various issues unrelated to the apartment in an incredibly timely fashion. It was obvious that it was very important to him that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at his cozy apartment. The apartment was very charming and the location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the city center. I would highly recommend Edo's apartment, especially during ski season. We look forward to staying at his place again in the near future because we enjoyed our stay at his apartment so much. Thank you, Edo!

We absolutely loved Nicolas’s place! The views were incredible, the hot tub was a major plus, and we loved that each room had its own shower. Anytime we needed anything, the hosts were very quickly responding and accommodating us. The Airbnb is a 30 second walk from a supermarket, which is really nice, and it is only a 2 minute walk to the bus station, which allows you to take a free shuttle bus to different towns and villages on the mountain, including Val Thorens. There is an excellent restaurant nearby as well. If you are looking to have a beautiful and relaxing ski stay, then this is the perfect place!

The apartment was perfect for 5 of us. Really well kitted out, great layout, comfortable beds and good shower. We loved being walking distance from the lift, pub, shop - which meant we could come and go as we pleased and the kids could walk back for to the lift, shop. The apartment was well kitted out with equipment, especially in the kitchen and had a great layout - in a U shape with the kitchen/dinning area on one side and the living area on the other. It was modern in feel and everything worked well.

A wonderful place for a family reunion, plenty of room for everyone. Walkable to the lake and Patisserie. Bike rental close by , great accessibility to Annecy. Easy access to local trails.

Wow what a wonderful holiday. We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely with a great outdoor area and pool. It was very peaceful but not far from the town centre (5-10 min walk). There you could find a boulangerie, small supermarket and several restaurants. You could walk to the lake in about 10 - 15 mins. We did not bother hiring a car. Instead we hired bicycles for some of the holiday. We also did lots of walking. It was very hot but fortunately we had aircon in the house. I would definitely go there again. We previously stayed in Annecy but this was more relaxing. It took about 25 mins to cycle to Annecy and you can almost exclusively do this on cycle paths. The hosts were extremely helpful even though they were on holiday in Brasil as we had one small issue with the power that they managed to quickly resolve.

We all enjoyed staying at Hans' place. We especially loved the outside space.

We had a great stay with the family at Marianne's. The accommodation is clean, functional and suitable for a group. Marianne is an accommodating host and very responsive in communication. We recommend and will be back

** Exceptional stay!** I had a lovely stay at this villa with my friends. The place was even better than the photos, very clean and well maintained. The decor is neat and you feel at home quickly. The accommodation is well equipped, everything is designed for us to lack nothing, special mention for the Nordic bath and the pool. The neighborhood is quiet and well located, close to local shops and attractions. Nelly was very responsive and thoughtful, giving us valuable tips for exploring the area. Communication was seamless from beginning to end. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return there the next time I visit the area. A big thank you to Nelly for his warm welcome!

Beautiful home, clean, true to photos. The environment is quiet, nice view. Good bedding Good value for money. I did not have the opportunity to meet the host but he is very responsive, accommodating and friendly by message I highly recommend it.

We had a great time, the villa has stunning views of Lake Annecy. Amenities are as described in the listing, quiet neighborhood. Easy and very friendly communication with Laura and Lisa. We recommend this location!
