Chalet vacation rentals in La Plagne-Tarentaise

Overall: Came for a winter skiing week with 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very satisfied with this very nice chalet -- but prepare yourself for some low ceilings. Pros: Larger than we were expecting. Split toilet and shower helps with larger group. Lots of places to dry your wet items. Area outside for kids to play in snow with toys and sled(ge)s available. Sheltered picnic table just outside the front door. Able to borrow a variety of cooking equipment for making local delicacies. Extremely helpful host. Beautiful interior and exterior. Cons: You WILL bump your head on the large ceiling joist over the beds in the 3-bed room. No matter how much you think you have learned where it is, you haven't. On the last day while packing achieved concussion level impact with this joist, despite a week of experience. Other low areas such as over stairs could be an issue for a taller person. Garage has limited space for accessing vehicle and we parked only half into the garage.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans le chalet de Laurence. Idéalement placé sur les pistes depart et retour à skis. Cet emplacement est fait pour ceux qui recherche le calme et la proximité de la nature. Je recommande vivement ce lieu atypique en espérant y retourner.

Our stay in Chalet was great! The place looks even better than in photos and has every equipment that was needed - pots, plates, coffee machine, two fridges, two big tables, sauna. Amazing place to relax after ski! Many skilifts in the nearest area (5 min by car). We can highly recommend this place. Thank you Christine 😊

A la hauteur de nos attentes si ce n'est plus ! Tout ce que nous venions chercher etait réuni...calme et authenticité. Logement impeccable, du choix de la décoration à la propreté, sans oublier les petits à côté qui font la différence et le succès d'un séjour. Bref, rien à redire si ce n'est " Quand est-ce que l'on y retourne ?! ". Un grand merci Valerie pour cette petite parenthese enchanteresque et au combien ressourçante avant de réattaquer une nouvelle année !

Un séjour inoubliable en famille ! Le chalet de Yannick est tout simplement exceptionnel : un lieu paisible, parfaitement aménagé, avec une vue à couper le souffle. Tout est pensé pour qu’on s’y sente bien, comme à la maison. Yannick a été un hôte exemplaire : toujours disponible, réactif et très attentionné. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience — c’est certain, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Un chalet fantastique, aménagé avec soin et goût. Les pièces sont spacieuses, propres et confortables. La cuisine comporte tous les ustensiles dont on peut en avoir besoin. Jean-Luc était très gentil, disponible et flexible. C'est une magnifique location, très bien localisée pour profiter de toutes les activités environnantes.

Nous avons passé un super week-end entre amis dans le chalet de Laurence ! Cette ancienne ferme a été très bien restaurée, normalement la grange à l’étage qui offre un magnifique volume et de nombreuses chambres.

Excellent séjour d’été, vu superbe et configuration du chalet excellente ! Idéal pour grande famille, et bien équipé pour des grands groupes, notamment au niveau de la cuisine. Ce qui est rare pour être souligné ! Hôte très aimable.

Le chalet était comme sur les photos, très beau, spacieux et lumineux. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Nous avons pu travailler sans problème, profiter de la Terasse ensoleillée, du jacuzzi, et aller skier aux arcs… Iona, est une hôte très gentille, très réactive et très flexible. Encore merci pour votre accueil ! Attention aux bruits à l’extérieur passé une certaine heure, les voisins sont très sensibles :)

Très beau chalet moderne magnifiquement décoré avec un environnement très apaisant avec vue sur les montagnes. Nous accédons au village à pied très facilement par des petites ruelles. La literie est très confortable ! Le sauna est très agréable après une journée de randonnée ou juste pour le plaisir ! Nous recommandons ce logement et serions ravis d’y revenir !

Het is een zeer gezellig huis van alle gebakken voorzien. Het voelen totaal niet als een vakantiehuis. op bepaalde plekken wel laag en met de sneeuw die et lag niet heel makkelijk bereikbaar vanaf de parkeerplaats. De busverbinding met Val d'Isere is niet heel frequent maar als je weet hoe het werkt helemaal prima te doen. We hebben echt een geweldige week gehad en ons helemaal thuis gevoeld.

Melanie and Nico were the best Airbnb hosts we've ever encountered. As soon as we arrived, we were met with so much kindness and a huge surprise! Throughout the week, they always made sure we were good by scheduling shuttle times for the mountain, providing us with daily food menus to order from, and coming to help us when we didn't know how to use the coffee machine. The house itself is incredible! It was a beautiful feeling to dip in the hot tub, sauna, or pool after a long day on the slopes. The view of the mountains from the house was one of the best views we've seen. It was also easy to navigate into the Arcs. From the house, it's about a 10-15-minute walk to Arcs 1600, and from there, it's super easy to take the bus to the other Arcs. If you want an incredible, relaxing, unforgettable experience, book with Melanie and Nico. You won't regret it!

Chalet conforme à la description avec une vue incroyable. Alexandra avait fait le nécessaire afin de préparer les lieux avant notre arrivée, et s’est adaptée à notre horaire de départ. Je recommande pour celles et ceux qui recherchent discrétion et tranquillité.

What can I say, the chalet is fabulous! Sally was super helpful from booking to checking out. She gave us tips for places to eat, ski hire , arranging passes and travel. The hot tub was a welcome relief for tired legs after a days skiing. The beds were really comfortable, and the linen was pristine. The chalet had everything we needed, with plenty of space for everyone to relax, have fun and enjoy our break away. The supermarket is really close, and there is a fantastic patisserie down the road in town. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Chalet Matalen! The chalet is set in a beautiful and peaceful location slightly away from the centre of Arc 1800 which made for a wonderfully relaxing stay—we were never disturbed. However, access to the slopes and village was still very easy, with the Jardin Alpin lift just a five-minute walk away and a regular shuttle bus service at the end of the road providing connections to various destinations in Les Arcs. The chalet itself is spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with excellent facilities including a ski room that was incredibly useful after a day on the slopes. Everything was thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable stay. A special mention to Fanny, who provided support throughout our stay. She was attentive, easy to contact and very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a high-quality chalet in a stunning setting this is the perfect choice. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Le chalet de Pascal est convivial et extrêmement paisible, vous êtes bercé par le bruit de la rivière et le calme de la montagne. Les équipements à disposition dans la maison permettent de cuisiner tous les petits plats de la montagne. Les remontées sont à 5 minutes, seulement le domaine de Saint Colomban est excentré du domaine des sybelles. Je recommande vivement ! Pascal est un hôte à l’écoute et bienveillant.

Es war wunderschön! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, alles war vorhanden. Garten und Terrasse sind sehr groß und der See in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. C'était merveilleux! Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise, tout était là. Le jardin et la terrasse sont très grands et le lac est accessible en quelques minutes

This is an amazing place to stay for a large family. Isabelle was great to deal with and replied to messages very quickly. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. The outside area is great for dining etc. The house has everything you need. thanks for having us.

Chalet idéalement placé à val claret avec de grandes ouvertures qui donnent sur la montagne, en pleine nature et à deux pas du centre ville. Je recommande vivement ce logement pour un séjour à 9personnes!

Gîte très agréable dans un hameau calme et paisible. Beaucoup de randonnées proches. Nous sommes partis à 16, le gîte se prête bien à cette taille de groupe. Bonne communication avec notre hôte, Pascal nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires au bon déroulement de notre séjour.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this chalet in Tignes. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking mountain and lake views and easy access to everything you need. The property itself is beautiful: spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Also the kitchen is equipped for 17 people. One minor note for future guests: we noticed that the local foxes were quite active and managed to break into the trash bags we left outside, causing a bit of a mess. This wasn’t an issue with the property or the hosts at all, just something to keep in mind and perhaps secure the trash more tightly or store it indoors until collection day. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this chalet to anyone visiting Tignes. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for such a memorable stay!
