Los Olivos

Conchy's home is great. We were kindly welcomed by a lady who only spoke Spanish. Everything smelled fresh and clean and looked great. Spacious rooms, good beds and shower, kitchen very fully equipped with everything you need, including electric citrus juicer. Fantastic terrace with sun (if it shines..) until it disappears behind the mountain (early April at 7:45 pm). Only if it is windy or not as hot (as with us) you cannot be sheltered. Luxury private parking, village with friendly boulevard and some restaurants within walking distance. Tip: Book on the terrace of restaurant Kuss. Conchy was reachable via app (using Google Translate) and let us check out a little late, very friendly. This was our third time at beautiful La Gomera and we walked fantastically again, this time with Playa de Santiago as a great base. We'd love to come back!

Casa Junonia, con Terraza, Bajo B

Humberto welcomed us in a very friendly way. The only drawback for us was the double bed, because it consisted of two single beds. For a few days a great starting point to explore the beautiful island.

Gomera Magic Island

KickiRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wonderful accommodation spread over four floors where we, a family of four, mostly used the two floors in the middle where three of four bedrooms, as many bathrooms, the kitchen and the larger terrace were available. All bedrooms were well separated, all bathrooms accessible from common areas. Hard good beds. Good opportunities for airing in the bedrooms. Good toilets, three of four with shower. The kitchen was spacious and equipped for all kinds of cooking. The terrace with direct exit from the kitchen was absolutely fantastic, spacious, partly under the roof, a wall that could be rolled down as a shelter, view of the city but quiet and private. In ten minutes you walk down to the city center, but home it takes slightly longer because of all the stairs. Free parking could always be found on the street where the house was located. Large grocery stores within walking distance, full of restaurants. Nice ordinance hiking trails go out from the city, even nicer one can reach by 20-50 minutes drive on well-kept roads. We stayed 2.5 weeks, two adults, two teenagers.

CASA RURAL ONDINA "C" (HERMIGUA BEACH)

LauraRating, 5 stars15 months ago
I had a lovely time staying at Casa Ondina. The view was breathtaking, the terrace huge and very sunny even in January. Manuel had left a leaflet with walks around la Gomera that proved to be very useful. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped. Special mention to the filter coffee machine. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars for the location is because I didn’t have a car and Hermigua is a bit isolated. The wifi was working well enough for me to work but I had two very short power cuts and the upload and download speed were about 10 and 5 so much lower than in other areas in the Canary Islands but good enough for me to work. I would definitely stay there again if I had a car.
