Family-friendly vacation rentals in La Genevraye

We really loved our stay, and felt immediately at home - we were two families with three kids between us, aged 5, 2 and 1. The kids loved the toys and the garden was totally enclosed and safe for them to play in. We were visiting for a bouldering trip, and were able to get where we needed to go with the car - Petit Bois was 8 mins away, but nowhere was much more than 30 mins. We also loved having the local woods and park to keep the kids and a dog entertained on wetter days. Anne-Marie met us on arrival and was really welcoming, explaining what we needed to know, and responding to any questions that came up during our stay. Thank you!

Everything was great! We felt very comfortable! I was especially pleased that children are welcome! Communication with the hosts was also always supportive and quick!

I had a great weekend, the hot tub is super comfortable, there are all the applications you need on both TVs and the first quality of the accommodation is the calm and once inside you feel completely cut off from the world. I would highly recommend.

Very nice place, very nice terrace, only small worries ... he spanked very hot in the rooms, and the proximity to the owners and another rental house on the same place. But the host is very nice and the place is beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay in Catherine and Christophe's gite which is cosy and has everything you need. We especially enjoyed all the classic climbing books. The gite is, of course, perfectly located if you want to climb in the Trois Pignons area. We hope to be back. Highly recommended.

With 10 adults, we stayed during the Olympic Games in the big house (8 people) and the cottage ( 2 people). The house is spacious enough and has all the comforts. The garden around it is wonderful. Anne responds quickly to questions, she is helpful. Due to the humid ,clammy weather, it got a little damp inside. With the opening of all the windows, this was so fixed. Annette and Peter

We loved it two years ago, we loved it this year and we like to come back in the future. Amazing place to stay with a larger group and enjoy the forest.

I celebrated my birthday along with 17 of my friends in Caroline’s house. The house is perfectly located, a beautiful boulangerie 5 minutes by walk, the forest and boulders were 20 minutes walk away and the house was situated in a great place with no one around. I can highly recommend the house, the kitchen is where the party was all weekend, perfect for a wholesome weekend. Will be coming back!

Cheerful apartment, clean and well located and above all exceptional welcome from Clément, very warm. We'll be back for our next trips to Fontainebleau.

They hosted us during the week we stayed to celebrate our wedding. The room is very quiet and peaceful. It is really close to a bakery, pharmacy, and grocery store. The owners live upstairs and were very easy to contact. There were a few hiccups during our stay, but the host always had it sorted by the end of the day. Lovely people.

Great stay at Florence's, everything was perfect. Accommodation located in a quiet area, very well equipped and arranged, beautifully decorated and clean. Florence was reactivated when I asked her a question. I'll be back 😀

We had a lovely weekend at Laure's house. Everything was as described and the gardens of the house are a real plus!

We spent 1 night in Séverine's studio. The accommodation is ideally located for climbing and hiking lovers in the forest of Fontainebleau. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, functional and quiet. You can't hear any noise, it's great for relaxing and resting. Séverine and very nice and is very attentive. Even though we only stayed one night we had a great time. We will return to Séverine's house this summer to enjoy the pool after a good day of climbing.

The gardens and house were beautiful, and the garden was even larger and nicer than expected. We found the pool to be the perfect size for us to help our younger kids learn to be comfortable in the water (with close supervision). We had a great holiday!

We had a great stay, the house is large and the garden is perfect for children, and the big ones! the environment is very quiet, the ideal location to visit the sites and villages of character, and take beautiful hikes in the forest. Our hosts were welcoming and responsive, we thank them for that.

Cedric and Sandrine’s place is super! We rented also the house attached to this house together with our friends. The house has an amazing garden which was great for our children. Lots of toys to play with. The house is in line with the pictures, descant furniture but nothing fancy, perfect with kids. And the biggest plus is the amazing pool! We enjoyed this place a lot, especially value for money!
