We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

We have just returned from Saint Hilaire after spending a wonderful month at Lizzie’s comfortable and charming house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, visiting the most beautiful and interesting places. The weather was still cold but mostly sunny—perfect for lovely hikes and even picnics in the sun! What a joy it was to escape the gray and wet Dutch winter for a while. Thank you!!

We had an absolutely amazing trip to Carcassonne and stay at Karine’s place. It is the perfect location to explore La Cité, literally steps from the outer walls. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean. Karine and Alain were both incredibly helpful, and we were so grateful for the flexible check out and ability to leave our bags for our last day. I would without doubt recommend this stay and would love to return for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Karine and Alain for making our holiday so wonderful.

We had a great time with the family and Anne's place was a big part of it. We didn't miss anything, we can plan to cook there without any worries. The bedding was very comfortable. The place is very warm. In early spring, we were able to enjoy flexible check-in and checkout. We can only recommend this place!

A very charming place, a perfect host. Flawless apartment, very clean, everything we needed available, we didn't want for anything. The pool, the big + to cool off and rest in this beautiful garden. A short stay with friends that we wanted near Carcassonne and quiet to meet in the evening. That's what we found. 3 large bedrooms, clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. A large living room that allows you to meet at 6. A very large exterior that lives by the cicadas and a small appreciable hot tub for soaking and chatting .

Cozy and well-equipped house, with outdoor areas to enjoy the outdoors. We went with small children and they could swim, swing and move freely. The rural setting is nice and quiet. We had a great time at Nancy and Eric's campsite. A real bubble of disconnection in the heart of nature. Our 3 teenagers also loved it with the many on-site activities offered: swimming pool, billiards, pétanque, table tennis. Beautiful activities are within driving distance from the place. We'll keep Nancy and Eric's address in a safe place. That special place

Large apartment, very clean and very well equipped, located between the medieval city and the heart of the city of Carcassonne. As well as being very pleasant to live in with its private terrace, this property gives access in a few minutes to everything! We left with the desire to come back.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Lodge Marie. Marie was an incredibly kind, thoughtful and generous host who clearly cares about the comfort and happiness of her guests. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so well. Loved the terrace adjoining the bedroom as it was a great sun trap. We enjoyed local walks around the vineyard lanes and to the neighbouring villages but also the house was in a great location for the places we wanted to visit. Easy access to Carcassonne and supermarkets but so many lovely places to visit in the area. WiFi was excellent too. We will certainly return to Marie's if we get the chance. Merci Marie...vous êtes vraiment gentille, charmante et généreuse et tous vos gestes gentils ont été vraiment appréciés.

Amazing place and surroundings! James was so kind to explain the history of the place, and I could definitely feel and smell it. The house is beautifully maintained to transport you back in time, from the living room to the squeaky staircase, and the decor blends old and new seamlessly, especially in the bathroom and kitchen. I will definitely miss the owl at night, Jodie being so friendly and giving us many tips and recommendations on what to visit, James explaining the history and his love for plants and this place, the amazing coffee served by his brother, and the lovely conversations with the sister-in-law. If we could find a downside, it would be the lack of pantry and cooking aids. However, we adapted to what we had and enjoyed our stay to the maximum. Our boys made friends with the hosts' kids, and we are thankful for that. In a few words, thank you, James and Jodie, for this wonderful time! Regards, Bloemsma family

Hélène's place met our expectations. Well located, just 20 minutes from the city of Carcassonne while remaining in a peaceful location. The house has everything you need for a pleasant stay, the pool and the view are real +es to give even + more charm to the house. We would recommend it and will gladly come back.

Nice house and well positioned, so it is in a quiet area but close to shops and big cities (approx. 10-15 min). The host is very welcoming, very accommodating and flexible on check-in time. In terms of accommodation, no surprises, everything is described in the listing. Comfortable, peaceful, around the vineyards. Nothing to say about this nice little stay. Recommended.

Very good stay at Nicolas and Lucie's as described and close to Carcassonne. A place particularly suitable for families with a large clean and well-equipped house, the pool and playground. Games available for our children as well as a baby bed, a high chair, a well-equipped children's bathroom etc... There are good shops around. The location in direct proximity to Carcassonne is great. Our children enjoyed the daily visit of the adorable family cat and the presence of the small turtle and fish. Another plus: the pool with an essential safety fence with small children. We felt safe, quiet and close to everything at the same time. Nicolas and Sophie are responsive in messages, we appreciated their welcome as well as their little touches. Thanks for the welcome. So I would recommend this house for all the reasons I mentioned.
