Casa Hiedra is in the heart of a dairy farm, surrounded by green pastures, cows, and mountain views. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets from this 3-bedroom house with 2 primary bedrooms facing the pool and a third with its own full bath. Features include a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and outdoor dining plus a living room with a hanging bed, perfect for relaxing and enjoy the nature surrounding it, ideally located between Bajos del Toro and La Fortuna with endless nearby adventures

The space
Two spacious primary bedrooms face the pool a 3rd bedroom in the back of the house faces the garden and pineapple fields. All bedrooms are separated from each other and are entered from the exterior of the house.

As of May 15, 2026, we have completed a new wall at the front of the yard to separate this property from the one next door.

Other things to note
Ev charger outlet available. Please bring your own charger to connect. Quiet hours are from 8:00pm until 8:00am Please do not go into pastures near cows unless a member of the farm is with you. Please note that there is an electric fence surrounding the property, and for your own safety, do not touch the metal wires on the fence. Occasional harmless insects may appear, particularly at night as they are attracted to light. To avoid insects in the bedrooms, we suggest keeping the doors closed after dark. This is fully operational farm. During your stay, expect cows grazing nearby the house.

San Cayetano de Venecia it’s 2 hours by car from San Jose airport (SJO) and 4.5 hours from Liberia(LIR) a small village near waterfalls, rivers and great hikes. Our farm has been in the family for many decades , all the houses surrounding the property are of relatives that work the land with multiple dairies and pineapple plantations, mainly for exportation to the United States. La Fortuna, home of the Arenal Volcano is 60 minutes from the property, there you will find lots of outdoor activities. If you are interested we can put you in contact with trusted tour guides who can organize experiences near the house or at La Fortuna.
