We stayed here 5 nights during the Christmas week high season. It’s about 5 min and $20USD by taxi from center of town, or a quick 15 minute bus that’s available 100m outside the apartment A few pros and cons: Pros : - really helpful and responsive host. We ran into some technical issues with the washer on Christmas Eve, and host walked me through the workarounds - we said the extra smaller bedroom was cold ( that bedroom doesn’t have heat), and host immediately gave a space heater - really good amenities and kitchen utensils— we were able to cook , quite important considering everything was shut down on 24/25/26 cons points to consider : - the ice isn’t cleared right outside the apartment …you have to be quite careful walking , especially if you’re not used to walking on ice. Can be slippery. - nothing close by , so factor in the travel time to and from center (taxis are expensive but there’s a bus readily available )

Perfect location right on the Main Street of Storgata. Walking distance to bus and cruise terminal. Several bus stops either right across the street or just several steps away. Small grocery store right across the street. Host was very responsive and friendly, Overall, we had an easy, pleasant, and peaceful stay. One thing that may be helpful for seniors considering this place is that the room is located on the top floor in the attic, accessible via somewhat narrow stairs from the first floor. We personally had no issues at all (2 adults with an 8 year old), but it’s worth noting for seniors or anyone with mobility concerns.

Everything was as stated in the description or as shown in the photos. The location was great. You can walk to the center of Tromso and have everything you need for restaurants and shops. Also the harbor with its views and many cafes was easy to reach. The roof terrace offered a beautiful view and we saw the aurora lights dancing from her over the city one evening with the naked eye. The place was really very clean, cozy and warm. In the kitchen you have found all the necessary utensils. Only downside: the neighbor. Unfortunately, the walls are very clairaudient and he spoke loudly in general. On Friday and Saturday evening he then party with friends and with very loud bass music until late at night, it was uncomfortable for us. Maybe it doesn't happen every weekend, we don't know. But if necessary, maybe take earplugs with you.

We fully recommend Elin‘s apartment for a short visit in Tromsø. Perfectly located with a 15min bus ride from the airport in the city center with an amazing view on the fjord/harbour. The place offers all required amenities and is very clean and stylish. Communication with Elin is easy and we are thankful for her flexibility with the checkin time. Very nice Airbnb experience!

This apartment is ideally suited for 4 people. Excellent living space, furnished to a high standard. Very comfortable beds and great showers. Easy access to the airport. Very efficient bus service on your doorstep . Great views. Very quiet. Within walking distance of town centre, time dependant on weather conditions. Would recommend buying a bus pass if you were staying more than a couple of nights and you didn't have your own transport. Would recommend this apartment.

Couldn’t of asked for a better experience. Beautiful apartment and beautiful scenery. Super responsive and helpful host. On the first day we had car troubles and after calling we received help from the host within 20 minutes. They even offered to help us with our bags when we were checking out. We had a great time, thank you for everything!

If you’re thinking about booking Simens place then do it before it gets booked up. Everything was perfect. The stunning location, such comfortable and homely atmosphere. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel and body lotion were such a nice touch. All essentials for cooking ready for you. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Simen was always around If you needed anything. Would 100% book again and recommend Simens place to everyone

We had a great time in Avignon Really right next to the center and also next to a view of the city The apartment was very clean The only small inconvenience is that we hear the snowplow stay overnight

Therese has a beautiful place, very well equipped and cosy. We stayed there in winter and the place is conveniently located close to the city’s cross country skiing tracks and the aurora-spotting lake. It’s also super close to the bus stop to get into the city center. For us it was the perfect place to enjoy our vacation in Tromsø

The apartment is cozy. Conveniently check in and check out. The airport is a 20 minute bus ride away. Walking distance to all attractions . Very convenient . Highly recommended

Great location right opposite supermarket and near bus stops. 5 mins from the centre. Communication with the hosts was easy and responsive. The house stayed warm with temperatures of up to minus 10 outside. The kitchen is well equipped and always available hot water in the bathroom. The only small criticism I would make is as it is their home there is minimal available storage for guests which is a little issue when you need multiple layers for the Winter weather. Tromso is great, airport only minutes from town. Easy access to town and harbour for fjord tours. multiple outdoor snow activities available with minimal driving. We enjoyed snowshoeing and Reindeers. We really enjoyed our time there and always felt warm and comfortable at "home" after fun in the snow outside.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this place. It is a short drive (25 min) from the airport and located in a small village by the sea. It was clean, spacious; with a large kitchen to prepare meals. A big plus point was the fact that it is located in an area with less light pollution, so we even saw some Auroras from the balcony or on the hill behind the place. I could make some good photos even the activity was not too strong, but of course they look better when you go to a darker place. Going to supermarket, Tromsø or to small trips are very easy if you have a car. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you might need. Hosts are responsive and helpful, gave us some recommendations. Parking and house is also easy to find but I have to warn that the way to the entrance door is relatively steep and slippery in winter. They try to clean and sand it but still it could get difficult, be careful if you are traveling with lots of luggage or baby. Spikes or snow shoes are MUST to have.

‏Fantastic location! Frida’s apartment is in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions, public transportation and airport (7mins). It made exploring the city so convenient. I’ll definitely be back! And Host very helpful and fast communication Thanks Frida

The apartment was exremely comfortable and modern. Our stay was really pleasant. The entrance to the aprtment was a little icy because of the weather but if you’re really careful there are no worries.

The apartment is located directly on the fjord and the view from the living-dining room towards Tromsö and mountains is breathtaking. The living-dining area is spacious and well divided, so that even 4 adults can be well together there. Tromsö can actually only be reached by car from the apartment via two bridges in about 30 minutes. There is also rarely a bus. Karstein was always available and helpful with questions.

The apartment was located in a very nice house with beautiful views over Tromso and the surrounding mountains. Everything was very clean and cozy. And we even saw very nice Northern lights from the apartment :-) recommended 100%

Great place for family of 6..beautiful surrounding overlooking the sea. Kjetil is very friendly and helpful during our stay. My boys enjoyed playing sled in the ski using his kids’ sleds. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

Real good experience overall and safe place to walk and can be walk around 15 mins to town.

Small but clean and very well-equipped accommodation. It is very well located, close to the city center of Tromso (10 min walk) which is convenient to get around. The bed is a little small but it was enough for a week. Lasse was very available by message with clear instructions and even a few recommendations.
