Vacation rentals with lake access in Kunnathidavaka

The place is very beautiful and homely. The house is surrounded by nature and a river flows just behind the home with direct access to the river from the house. The house is spacious and has all listed amenities. The house outside have lods of area with trees where kids can play and relax. The neighbours are very friendly. Grocery shops are also available near by the house. The only thing we missed is a TV. Water heater is available in the second floor, It would have been helpful if a watewater heater was available in the ground floor. The host was very responsive and gave clear instructions to reach the place.

Whispers of Kabini as the name itself implies is an apt place for nature loving people. A few steps from the the backyard of the house leads to Kabini river. The early mornings spent on the balcony is a paradise for nature lovers. You get to see the mountains, forest, chirping birds all at once. Our sincere gratitude for the hospitality extended by the couple. They treated us like family. We cannot miss mentioning about Thresiamma's attention to food details to ensure the guests are served stomach full with fresh and hygienic food. Our appreciation and respect to her. Overall it was an amazing stay and we felt like home away from home. Would highly recommend this place if your looking for a quiet, peaceful & a serene getaway.

It was a nice stay…but i think they should provide more blankets for the guests. There was only one medium sized blanket in each room when we stayed. Other than that everything else was good.

A wonderful property worth every penny you paid for .. private space and a lot to see and walk which is pretty .. a wonderful choice if you want to cut off from the busy and crowded life to a peaceful space that emphasis on nature .. the care taker and the services provided are top class

The place was amazing. Included breakfast was delicious but outside food menu which they provide was not worth it.

The cottage is just like the photos—well-maintained and surrounded by absolutely stunning views that feel like they belong in a postcard. There’s a tea garden right next to the property and plenty of nature to explore nearby. The host was super responsive and helpful during our stay, sharing great local tips and even helping us with transportation, which made everything easier. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a break from the city and some quality time in nature.

Our road trip from Chennai to Adam's Mount was a scenic delight. We were a bit worried about the roads because of the recent landslides, but everything turned out fine, thanks to Mr. Jojy, who helped us find the safest and easiest route. The homestay was easy to locate, which was a relief. When we arrived, Mr. Jojy and his family welcomed us with some delicious passion fruit juice straight from their garden. We instantly became HUGE fans of Aunty's juices and authentic kerala dishes—they’re a must-try! Mr. Jojy was such a great host. He made sure we checked in smoothly, took us on a wonderful trek through his plantation, and even recommended some local delicacies like pothinkal curry. We spent our evenings playing cards and chatting—he really made us feel at home. The homestay is surrounded by lush greenery, with a little stream nearby. Every morning, we woke up to the sound of birds singing and water flowing—it was so peaceful. We highly recommend this place!
