We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was very clean and even better looking than we could have ever imagined. The sauna was also very nice! 10/10!! I can definitely recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful location and amenities. The sauna, house, lake were beautiful. The house has a bit of an odd layout with only one shower in the house(one more in the sauna), but it’s very nice nonetheless. 5 bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Lovely sauna/jacuzzi area by the lake for a real Finnish experience.

We would highly recommend staying at this apartment. The building is exceptionally clean and quiet, while the area feels safe. Being right on the sea, the view from the sixth-floor apartment was lovely, even in winter. Plenty of steaming hot water and comfortable beds, there was nothing to dislike, and I am very fussy about where I stay.

It was the best holiday we’ve ever had. Family of four. Absolutely beautiful place, very cosy and decorated for Christmas. We will definitely come back! 🥰

Daria’s husband met us at the cabin and had heated everything up for our arrival, it was very easy to find and in a beautiful secure and private location. The cabin itself presented an amazing view, great facilities and not too far from the city, we rented a car which i would highly recommend, great hosts both super helpful and responsive, would stay again.

Our stay at Davids house was very enjoyable and relaxing. Upon check-in we were personally welcomed by Davids mum, it was really warm and friendly and she had useful tips for us. The surroundings are pure magic - the (frozen) lake, forests are magnificent and there are some nature activities in the vicinity (like nature walks or husky tours). There is a woodfired sauna, really good when the temperatures drop in Norrbotten. Bed is very comfy and the house very clean! The next bigger town is Överkalix, which is a 15min car drive away, there you can find grocery stores, a lovely cafe and fuel station etc. We would totally recommend to stay at David's for a really relaxing stay in the nature!! Little side note: As it is some kilometers away from public transport you should have your own car to get to the location.

A great, peaceful location. The house has plenty of space, indoors and out. There were 3 of us, but it feels like it would still be comfortable with more. The terrace in the garden was a great spot for stargazing and seeing the northern lights. Having the boat to use was great too. Some minor things could do with a bit of repair / renovation soon. But overall, it was great!
