Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kootenai County

The Hayden Hideaway was a perfect space for our family, from close by and far away, to meet up and spend a few days together. The 4 bedrooms and 2 baths accommodated 3 generations of adults, and the large living and dining area was perfect for hosting our nearby family who came by to share a meal. The hosts were quick to respond, and they have set this home up with so many extra touches. The gas fire pit was a nice addition and several spent some time around it. We did a lot of cooking & found the kitchen to be fairly well stocked. In the winter months we’d recommend bringing your slippers as the floors on the main level can run cold. There is a set of stairs up to 3 of bedrooms, but the rail made it doable for my 85 yr old mother to access the area. Love that the place is pet friendly, as well! We will definitely keep this house on our list for the next time we are in Spokane.

I really enjoyed my stay! Super cute home in a great neighborhood! Walkable to downtown and midtown. The house was clean, quite and I felt very at home. Would definitely stay again and would 100 percent recommend. Jennell

Such a lovely home!! We have family in the area and needed a place to stay for our family visit. Derek’s home was just what we needed. Located close to the highway for easy access to everywhere. CDA is such a special place and there is so much to see in this town. Obviously being winter and snowy it limits the water activities but there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and sights to see. We enjoy popping over to Spokane for the day as well to see the city, the falls, mall, and Dick’s Hamburgers. First time going to Spokane comedy club and I highly recommend! The lake decorated with lights is so beautiful and getting a cup of coffee from the resort while walking downtown is a must do! Antique shops and the newly added Trader Joe’s lol we will be back and who knows maybe be neighbors soon! CDA/Hayden/Post Falls all great places to explore

This is a wonderful place to stay in downtown Coeur D'Alene! Very homey older home with all the modern conveniences. Clean, bright, sunny, lovely walkable streets and minutes from the lake. We loved it!

Alex was such an amazing host! She was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Her place was beautifully decorated and in a great neighborhood. Definitely recommend her place and would return!

The setting was absolutely stunning, hosts were incredible to work with, great communication, and the home was beautifully stocked with everything we needed and then some. The kids enjoyed the outside options (even though it was December) and the games inside. We hosted a small family event there and the location was a show stopper. If you’re in the edge, just book it! You won’t regret it! Lots of walking/exploring space on the property, shot drive to CDA and shopping.

Our family of three had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the gift basket of snacks and toys for our 2 year old, so thoughtful of them to provide that! The rental had everything we needed. Thank you!

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway with my husband. Quiet and peaceful, yet just 10 minutes from downtown CDA restaurants, parks & shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with windows on all walls to see the beauty outside. We enjoyed sitting in the gazebo watching the sun go down and the boats go by. Katherine was always available to help with any questions and local recommendations.

Just what we needed! Space, location and price - all where we needed it to be! Kids loved the pool and adults loved the hot tub. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. The yard has chickens free roaming all over throughout the day and it was so fun to see them and hear the beautiful rooster out there doing his job taking care of his ladies and watching over them. So fun and a great way to clear your mind of all the daily stresses that don't matter anyway. And the tiny house was gorgeous inside and so comfortable. Everything we needed was easily available to us. Thank you so much Lisa! We hope to revisit the area soon and, of course, stay at the tiny house again!

Stephen & Natalya place was beautiful and very quiet. They had everything we needed and were very responsive. They were willing to answer any questions we had and even had suggestions on what to visit! Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

An absolutely stunning location with amazing views, homely feelings and a private atmosphere. The kitchen was well-stocked, clean, and comfortable to work in. My stay included my wife, both of our parents, myself and one other guest yet we never felt cramped or out of space (even with some dogs!) The huge living room was inviting, while the downstairs ping pong table led to some very fun times. We all felt the jewel of this space was the front patio. Outfitted with multiple different types of furniture, a covered area with a table, and a view that takes your breath away. I can’t recommend this place enough. Vince was a terrific host and would absolutely stay here again given the opportunity.

Very quiet, cozy, and relaxing. Glenda's cabin is close to good restaurants and fun, while still remaining private and away from traffic and noise.

It’s a quiet and serene cabin. It was beautiful inside and the views were great as well. We hosted our family there for Thanksgiving and made some great memories there.

Great place! Very clean and comfortable at an affordable price, very close to lots of locations in downtown CDA.

My fiance and I stayed here for two months and had an absolute blast. Jen is so nice and gave us great recommendations for the area. We felt right at home and the house was extremely nice and updated. Just the right size for what we needed to work remotely. Movie theater upstairs was AWESOME. Didn’t think we’d use it that much but we were up there every night watching shows and films. We biked on the Route of Hiawatha, rented a boat on Coeur d’Alene lake, went and had Hudson’s hamburgers, saw the craziest fireworks show for 4th of July that we’d ever seen, drove 3 1/2 hours to Glacier National Park, hiked Tubbs Hill… the list goes on and on. One thing to mention is I wouldn’t come here with the intention of having a loud or rowdy group. The homes are close together and while we made great friends with the neighbors, most people living in this gated community are older so it wouldn’t be wise to do something like a bachelor party here, etc. Thanks again! What an amazing place to live.

Love staying here. The property is beautiful! The host responded right away to any questions we had. The cottage was clean and comfy to hangout in.
