A lovely place to stay! The cottage is in a great location - merely steps to the beach, and easy walking distance to the shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. Some lovely sightseeing walks (and drives) nearby as well. Long Beach is great if you like a nice beach walk. Robe is a great town and well worth a visit. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and everything you need has been thought of and available. Mary and William were friendly and welcoming hosts, yet at the same time the cottage is very quiet and private. Highly recommend!

It was a perfect place to celebrate my birthday in peace and quiet with my toddler and elderly parents. The location, beach front scenery is just perfect! My toddler slept well with the relaxing whitenoise of the waves. The stunning cliffs is just 5 mins drive away and my parents enjoyed their walks along the beach in the mornings. There’s playgrounds at the beachfront my toddler loves. The place is 30 mins away from town and the views are so scenic, there’s tourist attractions along the way. Katelyn has also been friendly and responsive with communication. I requested bedrails for my toddler and she has organised it before our arrival. Check-in is straightforward. The place also has a homely feel to it, my parents and my toddler loved it and they felt relaxed. It does feel like home away from home. The place is clean and we got what we need during our stay. The house was a great size for our group of 7 adults with plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfy with beautiful linen and the showers were amazing. We would definitely stay here again if in the Portland area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paula’s Place, it was relaxing, comfortable, spacious and very well kept. Lovely peaceful location & only a 2 minute drive to town. Paula was great, very welcoming, accommodating and prompt with communication. We highly recommend Paula’s Place and would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maryland's cottage whilst staying in Portland with our 2 dogs. The cottage was clean, well equipped. comfortable and had everything we needed. The back yard was doggie heaven due to it's size and it was so relaxing to be able to play with the dogs in the back yard and not have to go to a dog park for them to get tired out. The cottage is in a quiet street, close to the shops, foreshore and the lagoon so you can walk everywhere, Portland is a very beautiful town. Linda was a fabulous host and the communication was exceptional. I highly recommend Maryland's cottage and plan on returning.

Very nice stay. Great location near the beach. Lots of useful information provided by John regarding things to do etc. We stayed in December and appreciated the Christmas decorations, added a festive touch. We would love to stay again. Cheers.
