Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kommetjie

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. we had everything we needed. Our hosts were prompt to response and assisted us timeously when the need arose. Definitely worth a second and third visit. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Loved our stay in Kommetje and what a view to wake up to. Just a short walk and your right by the ocean, what’s not to love?! Bettina and Dieter are great hosts and very helpful, quick to respond and just very friendly. Can highly recommend this place.

Great family home and a great location- just a quick walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed and we loved the pool and outdoor shower and bath. A nice stroll to great coffee shops was our favourite morning activity followed by time at the beach and a swim in the pool!

This house beautiful and perfect for a large family. There is plenty of space to gather and to get away from your siblings. The back yard is beautiful. Jane is wonderful to work with.

FABULOUSAbsolutely stunning view right on the sand. Ocean loudly crashed right in front. Mist was amazing & romantic. Jacuzzi feels like you’re on the ocean. Two great rooms each with stunning view, automated blinds and full bathrooms. Sand level bedroom also good enough with own patio and steps from the water. Granite tops in kitchen although appliances a bit old. Very responsive Security company 24 hours with alarm. Needs minimal attention and decluttering, but the BEST ocean stay we’ve ever had. Big enough for small family and comfortable lounge and great gas fireplace. Sound system too intricate to understand but was able to stream DSTV on the wifi. The area has signal issues now and again but was able to work & did zoom meetings. Lock up garage nice. No beach stairs though. Host sorted glitches immediately once we were there and surprised us with wine & chocolates in true SA style. You can’t go wrong with this place. We hope to be back soon and often. We’d even consider buying it!

A wonderful stay! Jessica was a great host. The views are absolutely gorgeous and we loved the cosy feeling of the property. Really stunning bedrooms and we loved making a coffee each morning in the French press. We can’t wait to come back!

We recently stayed at the villa for 11 days. The property is beautiful and brilliantly located for everything in Camps Bay. The villa is constantly immaculate thanks to the housekeeper Thembi who services the villa throughout the week. She was very friendly and helpful. Carol was regularly in touch to check if we needed anything which made checking in and using amenities very straightforward. If we ever get the opportunity to visit Cape Town again we will definitely wont hesitate to stay here again.

Great value for the price. Friendly and accomodating hosts (let me drop bags early and collect bags a few hours after checkout dur to my doctor's appointment). Very close to Vincent Pallotti Hospital for anyone looking for a place near by (10 minute walk, 3 minutes car ride). I will definitely be back if its available next time I'm in Cape Town.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The views of Cape Town are nothing short of breathtaking – from Loins Head to the city skyline and the ocean, every window offered a postcard-worthy scene. We stayed for six weeks and felt completely at home. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay. The location is perfect – close to the city center, yet nestled in a serene and secure area. We hope we can return in the future.

Great stay in the heart of Sea Point!

I have stayed at a lot of airbnbs in the last ten years, and this one is up there in the top ten in terms of location, the atmosphere and facilities of the accommodation, and the hosts. The hosts were very responsive to messages and made arrival and departure a breeze. (They probably would have been great at troubleshooting too, but there was no trouble.) The apartment is spectacularly beautiful, the bed super comfortable and some of the furniture is to die for. And from the balcony, the view of the harbor and the Helderberg Mountains in the distance ... and the Olympia Cafe right there ... you get the picture.

Just what we needed for two days.

A perfect place to retreat to after exploring Kalk Bay shops and pools. 2 outside terraces that make the place sunny.

We had a lovely relaxing time in Kate’s accommodation. Not only was it very clean and extremely comfortable inside but also had an amazing balcony with a view over the sea and a green nature garden below. The beds and soft pillows were the best we had on our SA trip. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. It was a good base for The Cape Peninsula,Boulders Beach and neighbouring town Kalk Bay. Kate and David were very helpful. We will definitely highly recommend Kate and David’s accommodation !

This place is so special! The location is unreal with the view of the ocean and the sunset. It was the perfect getaway for our family to relax and connect. Chris and Emma were friendly and quick to help us with anything we needed. We will be back!

I keep coming back to Mirella's! The house location, incredible views and quiet neighborhood are what brings me back. The apartment is close to the tidal pool and Glencairn beach, you can walk to restaurants and even the shopping mall if you need groceries or to go to the gym. Mirella and Barbara are very responsive in case of any issues.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivan & Lisa's cosy cottage! Enjoyed the sea-view from bed; taking a bath outside; making a potjie in the firepit; taking a short walk to the main beach... I am 8 months pregnant and contacted the hosts beforehand to check if the stairs / rocky terrain would be a problem: They were very helpful with extra pictures and descriptions, and I was perfectly comfortable. The cottage is very well equipped with anything you might need (from a fan to a chargeable night-light). Very special experience - highly recommend!

Exceptional for our remote work schedule, the cottage was peaceful, super comfortable, and it has uninterrupted solar power –– a necessity while Cape Town has constant loadshedding/rolling electricity blackouts. We loved our two weeks in the cottage. It is built beautifully. Well insulated with stone and wood, spacious, with several gorgeous sitting areas. On the chilly rainy days, the indoor fireplace kept the cottage cozy. On our warmer days, we hung out on the front porch with views of the mountains. It's an incredible space with wonderful hosts.

It was a great escape, close to the big city. Peacefull, therefore a little hard to find. This cabin is absolutely worth it.

Best place we have ever stayed. Drop dead gorgeous location, cozy and calming interiors, fantastic host. House has such a good feel and attention paid to every detail. Magic. This is as one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had lately - an exquisite open plan cottage with beautiful furnishings with an outdoor seating area, a private fireplace and mountain views. Bronwyn is the perfect host, immediately responsive to all questions and requests, and providing excellent suggestions for exploring Hout Bay and beyond. A really amazing stay.
