At Last

Great location, peaceful and still convenient to town. The place was better than we were expecting. There is lots of room in the house, doesn't feel cramped at all. There was even a hot tub (it had a couple issues, which is why it wasn't in the post, but it was working well enough to use.) Owner was very responsive. I'd stay there again.

Robert is a great host! He replied quickly to my questions. The airbnb was amazing! It was clean and spacious and well stocked with supplies! The view of the ocean was amazing! This is one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed in! Would highly recommend staying here!

Janie's self-contained unit

A very warm, kind and welcoming. I was running late, still Seamus was there to meet me when I finally arrived late at night, due to numerous delays with my travel. And they left a light on just in case. Beautiful place, no words or pictures can do it enough justice. I had a great conversation with both Noreen and Seamus in the morning, I felt right at home. Beautiful place, beautiful people, my absolute first choice next time am in the area. Thank you Noreen and Seamus for the short but lovely and relaxing sleep over, and for a great breakfast.

Hokitika Firestation - Chief Henshaw Apartment

KathrynRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

Large executive home overlooking the ocean.

BobbyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The feeling of the house to me is very atmospheric, facing the sea is very good. The living room is large and spacious, and the open kitchen is very well designed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean. Especially like the front and rear courtyards, the front yard can look at the endless sea, the scenery is needless to say

Don't be fool by the exterior of the house. Inside is pristine, clean and relatively good furnishing. It has 3 bedrooms with a separate toilet and shower. Although the house is located not far from a milk factory, it is not noisy, probably due to good insulation. Colleen included basic breakfast in the pantry. Less than 5 mins drive to the town centre.
