The villa swamp is a stunning, museum-like haven of peace and nature. Hunting land can be found nearby and you can really enjoy your vacation in peace. Carrying water and no-electricity is suitable for this place. Alex is great hosts and ready to help if needed. Everything went just as planned.

We really enjoyed our stay and is going to miss this place .

We stayed in the house for 1 week, it was a totally relaxing week😊, the lake was frozen, and we had our fun🤩. Highly recommended 👍

Rikka gave us all the facilities. Communication with him was easy and always offered to help. Very friendly. There are, however, two things I did not like: bed linen and towels were not included in the price and this information is unclear on the listing. Also, the house is only rented for 5 day periods. And we only needed 3.

Very nice place, if you want to have a vacation in complete silence and no neighbors within a few hindered meters. We've bin there in January when it was - 30°C at one day. Spectacular polar lights and planet / star watching. Best seen standing on the frozen lake. The electrical Sauna can realistically give room to three people the one with the oven maybe for four - if you're planning on going with 6 guests in the saune simultaneously. All in all, very cozy place. The heat pump combined with the electrical heaters are getting the house above 20°C even in the coldest winter days. The WiFi has a reliable speed of 25 MBits. Even though one from the south would assume otherwise, you can drive directly to the house even with a very small car. They all have spikes in winter from the car rental and we had no problems reaching the house - no rental of a big pick up truck neccesary. We will gladly go there again someday in the future!

Perfect location and great communication from owner. I probably wouldn't recommend for 6 adults but for our family of 5 it was great.

Teemu is a kind and excellent host. When we asked him something he responded very quickly and all the instructions he gave us were very clear and handy. The cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen had lots of utensils available. The living room was very, very cozy and had a lovely fireplace with plenty of wood available. From the cabin we had a nice view on a frozen lake and we could even see the northern lights from there (use the aurora app for alerts!). When you walk outside you can instantly start your cross country adventure along the amazingly well maintained tracks that run throughout the whole wide area of Ruka. You can easily reach the town that way as well as the amazing Kontaiinen area and more. A rental car is advisable if you don't have your own, as the public transport is tricky. You can park in front of the cabin and we found rental cars to be cheaper than we expected. All in all, everything was just perfect!

An absolutely brilliant stay in beautiful Finnish countryside - about an hour from Oulanka and Hosea National Parks, each easily worth a day, the Ruka ski/bike resort, Ruuta’s Winter War museum, and much more. Our family was delighted to stay here - the house offers boating and paddle boarding and multiple saunas. We spent five nights and would have happily spent ten - we definitely hope to return!!

The Villa was in a pristine condition by lake Vuosselinjärvi. We had a dreamy stay - amazing for a peaceful vacation in Ruka. The higlights were the Sauna, boat, fishing and swimming in the lake. I couldn’t recommend it more. Piritta was very responsive and sweet. The stores and restaurants are easily accessible from the villa. We loved it - definitely coming back next July!❤️

The villa was great. Incredibly heated Furnished in a way that is comfortable for the family. Accessible and generous equipment and everything we needed was there even a cool karaoke kit. The kitchen is equipped with the refrigerator big enough and the hot tub outside was great The host was pleasant, gentle, took care of every need and was coordinated with us on everything. Please take into account that the villa is very far from anywhere half an hour to the nearest supermarket and almost an hour from ruka. It has an advantage because we didn't meet a soul and egg we have full privacy and on the other hand it extended every trip. The beauty of the villa The view from the big window on the lake was wow. Highly recommended.

really spectacular location, surrounded by nature . Really nice view from the windows. Large house equipped with anything , the only negative is the hot water that does not last very long being a house for several people (there were 2 of us) super sauna!

The setting is idyllic, lost in the middle of the forests. The Chalet is easy to access and perfect for a memorable stay. We greatly appreciated Elina's recommendations for activities and her directions to use the different features of the cottage. The interior of the chalet is fantastic and very nice for play evenings. We had a great week. Thank you so much!

This is a top-notch cottage in a dreamy forest by the lake. The winter scenery was "Narnia" like all around. All the amenities are beautiful Finish art collections, the dishes almost feel too pretty to eat from :-) You can feel that every corner has been thought about. The communication with Virpi has been excellent before and during our stay. Thank you so much for having us.
