House vacation rentals in Kohimarama

This old manor house is a beautiful, gracious monument; standing on a hill, above the area. Fabulous layout of rooms and accommodation, which suited our multi-generational family from around the world who were gathered there for my daughter's wedding nearby; there was space for us all and we designated the living room an 'adult only area' so that we could work or read/chat quietly. Some of the areas are a bit tired (the tennis court; as noted in the AirBnB blurb) and some of the furniture/windows/woodwork/curtain rails/external fittings but it did not detract from our visit; it is a stunning house and we were very happy to be there together. The bathrooms had clearly been refitted recently and were beautiful. The bedding was high quality, as were the carpets. Kitchen was sparsely equipped, particularly for 6 adults and 4 children over the course of a week (not much cutlery, tea towels, wash up liquid, dishwasher tablets) but we were able to sort all of that ourselves) Fab house!

We have stayed at Anna’s before and really loved it… it feels like a home with cosy areas and great spaces for family life. We also love the location. Another wonderful stay..

The house was like a beautiful, serene retreat. We had a personal welcome from John who showed us around and gave us all the info we needed for our weekend. From the fish pond at the entrance to the lovely, spacious home, out to the amazing heated swimming pool, spa pool, and gardens, and then there is the multi-million dollar view!! 160 degrees of ocean and Rangitoto island. There was plenty of space for our group to have their own areas to chill but also great entertaining space when we could all be together. Minutes to beaches/bays cafes, shops. If you want a place with it all, this is it!! Thanks Joseph we will definitely stay again :)

This home is beautiful. It is exactly as advertised. It is bright, clean and packed with everything you need to feel right at home; including ample games that made the evenings enjoyable for the whole family. The pool and spa are amazing. Lisa and Rick were very responsive and answered all questions instantly; even providing suggestions for activities that didn’t disappoint. Would definitely stay again when visiting Auckland and would highly recommend to friends and family.

We stayed at Sarah's place over Labour Weekend to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We had 4 kids in our group and they enjoyed the pool and spa and the great walks on our doorstep. There was plenty of room for everyone and we all loved having our own bathrooms. The view from the house is spectacular. We also loved shopping in Oneroa, lunching at the gorgeous vineyards like Poderi Crisci (particularly the Italian long lunch), Tantulus and Heke. You definitely need a car though to stay here, as it's quite hilly.

Fantastic host , great place, extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommend staying there. Will love to stay there again when back in Auckland

Lovely private stay for our family of 6, we really enjoyed it! The house was spacious and was very well equipped with all amenities required for our stay. Communication was also great with Sue. Location was also very convenient as it was close to one of the neighbourhood (Ostend) which is within walking distance!

Fantastic location, incredible views, comfortable, everything we needed at our fingertips! Our whole family (dozen adults and a few kids) gathered here for a wedding on Oneroa beach and this home was the perfect landing spot for us. We have some older adults with mobility issues so Robyn’s home was ideal as there were two rooms on the main floor so minimized stairs for them, as well as proximity to fantastic cafes and restaurants and market made everyone’s lives easier, and just a short walk down to the beach. The views from the rooms are stunning. Highly recommend, just wished we all could have stayed longer!

We stayed here for a wedding and it was perfect. Blair was great to communicate with, offering support with getting over to the island. Kitchen was well stocked!

Cole is a wonderful host and we had so much fun in her house. Everything is super organized and clean. The backyard is spectacular and my son loved a trampoline! Point Chevalier is very quiet, family friendly and peaceful place, we highly recommend her place if you are looking for local experiences! Thank you Cole for your kindness:)

A beautiful newly renovated extremely clean home. Very spacious and had everything we needed for our three day stay in Auckland. The hosts were very accomodating, leaving a light on at the door for our late arrival and agreeing to a late check out on the day of our departure. Thank you Andray

This is my family 2nd visit in this lovely house & the location is perfect for close by families. The 1st visit was last year 2023 & due to my medical condition, I was not able to come on that trip, but my family mention that it was a house that we can call home. It was my 1st visit and now I see why they say this is home. Thanks to the host for making it possible for my family to check in early. Hope all is well with the host & in the future if possible & be able to return would be great.

Very nice AirBnB - great location and super comfy beds. Just a few steps away from a wonderful beach and a nice 10 minute walk to various restaurants. Everything was very easy.
