Oliver’s place is beautiful. The views are stunning. The villa is in a private estate with views of the ocean and the golf course. We woke up every morning to some amazing views from almost all parts of the villa. Oliver and Amelia were very friendly and quick to communicate. We would happily come back!!

I stayed here with my family for a week over Christmas. Wow. On our second day they tried to make me book in advance for Christmas next year. What a gorgeous gorgeous place. There’s a one person kayak that we took out every morning. An ice machine! A wonderfully kitted kitchen. A fireplace. The sunrises are incredible. Town is nearby and easily accessible. You will need a car. The driveway fits 4. The hosts were lovely and responsive. Friendly and always available. I will 1 million percent be back. Thank you Chris and Lauren!

We were a large group of 9 adults and 5 children and felt so welcome and at home at 6onProtea. The rooms are all very well equipped, the kitchen and dining area well serviced and the views/location was beautiful. The manager and his housekeepers were AMAZING! We felt so cared for with their excellent recommendations for local restaurants/attractions. Nothing was too much trouble and they were attentive but not intrusive. The manager provided us with a great selection of new board games when we arrived as he thought “we looked like we were a group that would play games”. He was so right! We have many special memories of playing board games and laughing next to the roaring fire on the chilly winter nights in a special location in Knysna. We will be back!

Absolutely stunning views over the beach and sea. The views can be enjoyed from everywhere in the house. Extremely large beautiful property with lots of open space inside and out. A large balcony with loads of space to relax on. The main bedroom and bathroom are a great size and very comfortable again both with amazing views. Large dressing room too. All far bigger than the photos show. A few minutes drive to the beach which is lovely and not too busy. There is only a very small village shop with very limited supplies. We ate at Butterfly Blu on the beach a couple of time and the food was very good. Our only feedback would be some comfortable relaxing chairs to be used on the lawn. There are however 2 loungers on the balcony. We would definitely recommend this property especially if you are looking for privacy and scenic views.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Thesen Island is a magical place, quiet, safe, yet close to the walkable restaurants and bars around the harbour. The villa was huge, light and airy, and has a prominent position with great views. It also has a pool, and it looked like a lot of the others didn't, so that is a bonus. Thoroughly recommended.

We had the most wonderful family holiday! The house is in the most stunning location - the best spot on Thesen Island in my opinion! The House is very spacious and modern with very nice views. The garden is like a small forest and you can see there was alot of work put into it... Pool are is very nice as well... The Kitchen is big and fully equipped as well as a Very nice and private Braai area that we used every night *WIFI- We didnt really have WIFI signel as the router is far from the house... when we managed to get some signal it was very slow so dont count on it too much... Philip and Martina are very nice and helpful..

Linda’s home is a must if visiting Knysna, with more than enough room for most families. Unam and Linda were amazing hosts and this is now our 1st choice when in Knysna or surrounding areas.
