The Family "Ponderosa"

Come experience luxury camping at it's finest in rural Pennsylvania. A 38' luxury travel trailer set near Little Roaring Creek is as peaceful as it gets. Quaint cottage overlooking Beurys Lake...or as my dad lovingly says..."its more like a shallow pond". We had the best weekend at this cabin! Not only is the cabin (and surroundings) beautiful, the details are so thoughtful for guests. We enjoyed the hot tub, grilling on the deck, the fire pit, coloring at the desk, and relaxing in the cozy cabin. The bed was so comfortable! If you need to recharge, connect, and escape for a couple days, this is the place to do it!

This place was so clean. It’s not a modern/new house but it looked, felt, and smelled clean. Plush towels, a basket full of extras in case you missed packing some essentials, and everything we needed in the kitchen. Crystal was responsive to questions and let us check in early so we could freshen up before heading to a wedding rehearsal. I was there with my 70+ yo parents and the two flights of steps to the apartment were a bit of a surprise, so definitely a consideration if there are any mobility concerns. My parents are troupers so we did it but we planned our trips up/down to keep them to a minimum. Loved to hear the church bells ringing on Sunday morning!

Super peaceful and clean space, comfortable bed and couch, generally cozy atmosphere, great air conditioning for summer, perfect for a little get away with your partner. The location and the drive up (from Maryland) felt very secluded, however the cell reception is great, and the nearest grocery stores and department stores are only 15 minutes away if you need. Super cute, would return!

Beautiful house that was even nicer than the pictures! Super clean and you can tell Matt takes pride in keeping this home in great shape. Definitely something for everyone, as both the adults and teenagers had a fun and relaxing time. The game room was a great bonus for the kids and we all enjoyed the perfect outdoor setting and clean hot tub. We brought our ATV and had a blast on all the trails reachable from right in the back yard! Matt was very responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better rental experience. Highly recommended and we definitely plan to be back!

I am extremely pleased with our choice of accommodation. My children had a wonderful experience, and I appreciated the peaceful surroundings. The provision of a bonfire ring was a nice touch, and the view was truly spectacular. While there was no television, we found alternative entertainment playing pool in the basement. The kids also enjoyed the hot tub immensely. The remote location was ideal for a relaxing getaway, and we departed feeling revitalized and inspired. This ranks among my most enjoyable Airbnb stays, and I highly recommend it. I plan to return in the future.

From the minute we arrived u til we left, the Logger’s Den was a quiet, clean place to be for the weekend. We arrived late Friday night and the keypad check in made it easy to arrive, walk the dogs, unpack, and hit the hay! We had trouble with the coffee pot in the morning and Penny was responsive with a new one! I loved the little touches like the complementary bottle of wine and toothbrushes in the bathroom. The house is adorable and clean. Just enough space to relax and enjoy a good meal. We very much enjoyed our stay!

This was our second stay and we hope to stay longer in the future. This setting is as peaceful as it gets in our experience and we love the ridgetop views. It was magical this time when it started snowing in the morning. Love the old farmhouse and its amenities and the grounds. Still haven't tried the tub in the master bedroom; maybe next time. We want to bring the whole family.
